La Borgata Ristorante Review

We met with friends at this spot for dinner. we heard about this restaurant from a lot of people. Well, it was a winning. The staff members were extremely nice and we had a fantastic feeling. The food was just great. We loved this spot a lot and we will visit this place again. we highly recommend this place.

La Borgata is an authentic, delicious Italian restaurant. Great wine, pasta, pizza, appetizers, and my favorite soup there is the pasta fagioli.

Ordered Sicilian pizza to go had an amazing taste,will be eating here again very soon.Highly recommend

I can't say enough about this place. I am an ex-New Yorker used to good Italian food and this restaurant is as good as New York. I have ordered and had dinners delivered because of my handicap and never disappointed. This week I made the effort to go to the restaurant just to see how the service was and if anything with the food was different. Nothing was different. service was wonderful and food delicious. I had the pasta puttanesca and my friend had chicken piccata. Very generous portions and delicious. Prices is reasonable for the quality and size of portions. You have to try it. For information purposes I use Chow Cab for delivery. Google online but if you can make it to the restaurant go.

Food is amazing, service was a bit slow, great waitress but she was the only one there and really busy. This has become one of my favorite restaurants in the area.

Ordered pizza using Slice and was delivered a Stromboli. The employee at this restaurant that answered my call told me I had to contact Slice that she was unable to help me with the mistake and fill my order correctly. Neither the restaurant or Slice would take care of the mistake. After paying online $26.00 for something I didn t order and poor customer service my family attempted to eat the Stromboli. It was the worse thing I have ever tried to eat. It was not cooked done and the inside was nothing more than several layers of dough!!! Very bad experience and I will never order from Slice or this restaurant again!

Do not order take out from this restaurant! I picked up my order and asked the guy twice, is this everything in my order? He said "yes". I get home, 20 minutes away, and they forgot a side dish, a main dish, and garlic knots. I called and they were unapologetic and never even offered to deliver the items they forgot to give me. Then when I sent someone else to pick up the remaining food they even forgot to give him the garlic knots. What a joke! Some restaurants really know how to not do business properly.

Went in for the first time recently and really enjoyed it. I had the Sausage, Peppers and Onions Parmigiana Lunch, side of spaghetti, garlic knot and cream of mushroom soup. All of it super tasty.

Amazing food and great lunch specials!!! Everything from the pizza, to the pasta, to the paninis are always fresh and delicious!

Ordered pizza at 5:19 and arrived 7:55. No phone call that running late. Called twice once said driver was lost. Second said on way but took thirty minutes when we live less than ten. One pizza was burnt and other was cold and salad was soggy. . Again no apology or communication. You should contact the customer and update them. Nothing like having cold pizza after waiting almost three hours from the time we ordered. Pizza is a least two hours old. Pizza had to be re heated and was not able to eat soggy salad. No apology or even offered a discount. All was needed was to communicate with the customer. Should of called. I would of come and picked up if you said you were to busy or could not deliver in time. Instead you lost a 10 year customer. Never again.

They did a good job on our take out order. Fast service.

Tonight was my first experience here! LOVED IT! The staff, the amazing food, the ambiance, the singer, the friendly family feel! I can't wait to go back! We went in a little late on a whim. They were ALL so welcoming, warm and just really nice! I felt like we were eating with family. AND they had gluten free options for me! Bonus! An Italian restaurant with gluten free choices that taste amazing! I highly recommend this quaint welcoming molto delizioso restaurant to anyone

Real Italian food! We get delivery pretty often. Boli is phenomenal and the classic Italian dishes are perfectly done! One of my favorites in Palm City!

Just had our Christmas party there. Food was very good service was excellent

This was my 2nd meal at this restaurant and I wanted to like it I truly did.
Unfortunately, this was not the case. This staff was very nice, but it took forever for us to get water and when we did we did not get the lemon we asked for. Then we ordered our food and I chose to have the soup with my meal.
The homemade cream of mushroom soup tasted as if it had cooked down to the point that the flavor was much too intense and it was quite salty. I sent it back and got a salad instead and enjoyed that very much as well as the homemade balsamic house dressing. My meal however the stuffed rigatoni with sausage sauce was very under cooked and the pasta was not al dente, but hard. I had to send it back and when it came back again it really was not still cooked properly. My mother ordered a seafood and pasta dish with a white sauce and it came out with a red sauce. We sent that back is well. The menu was not inexpensive in for what we received I felt like we had severely overpaid. I really didn't eat much of my meal I took it home I'm going to attempt to "fix" it and see if it palatable.

Hard to underscore how good this place is. Their gnocchi gorgonzola is one of my favorite things in the whole world!

Terrible service did not serve all that was ordered over an hour to get any food

I ordered to be picked up. They didnt tell me it was ready for 20 minutes while i had a drink at the bar. Got home, food was luke warm. My spaghetti and sausage meal had one sausage with a length of 3.25 inches. Thats it. Probably two pounds of spaghetti with it, but they saved a lot of money by offering the smallest sausage ive seen. If i could include a picture i would.

Not my first experience with poor service. Not going back. Too bad since its the only italian restaurant near me.

Family, friendship, fabulous food. By far, this is a fabulous restaurant. The portion sizes are amazing, the staff is incredible and you will have a memorable evening!

Another great Italian restaurant that is located in a small strip mall that looks ordinary but has GREAT food. The jumbo shrimp franchaise is PERFECTION. The mushroom soup is good. Do not forget a canolli to top everything off!

I have only ordered take out from this restaurant, and every time I do the service is horrible and my order is never ready on time!

The best italian food in the area. The pizza is outstanding since it's comparable to NJ style (which of course is the best)! Excellent choice for delicious dining.

The food was good and atmosphere was cosy. The service left a LOT to be desired. We were a party of 6 and the tip was automatically added to the bill. I truly believe that played a part in why our service was so bad. As far as cost goes, most meals were between $12 and $20 and the portions were quite generous. Even though the food was good I probably won't bother going back.

It's a cozy Italian restaurant. The food is delicious. Prices are good. We love this place and brought our relatives here many times.

Been here a few times before and it was ok nothing spectacular but tonight the service was lousy. Took my wife, mother in law, a friend, and 4 kids from 7 to 12 years old for my daughters birthday dinner because she wanted spaghetti and meatballs. The lady that took our drink orders was very nice and I thought she would be our waitress but instead we had an older lady take our meal order. Basically she had zero personality, acted as if we were inconveniencing her by being there, and checked once after the food came to see if we needed anything. Those were the only words she even spoke to us except at the end to ask if we wanted desert. Never filled waters or cokes. The place was not overly busy. We always tip a minimum of 20% but in this rare case I planned on tipping less, but because we were a party of 8 20% was already added to the bill. On my way out I asked the original nice waitress what was the deal with our waitress and she said she was the OWNER. She apologized and said they had been dealing with credit card machines being down so that could have been part of it, but she said that dosen't excuse it and I agree. Food was ok as usual nothing of the charts but good enough. The service just ruined the experience for the adults. One bright spot was the guys that cleared the plates and boxed up the food. Very nice, polite and helpful. Maybe they should be promoted and pull the owner off the wait staff.

Since I've moved to Palm City I've had my fair share of pizza from all the different restaurants around here. Some of them don't deliver and if they do, it's only through chow cab (which is OK with me). I've had Vesuvio's, Big Apple, Anna's and a few others besides the big box stores up here...... La Borgata destroys the competition by far. I ordered a plain XL cheese pizza with an order of zeppolis. The pizza was perfectly made, thin but not too thick crust and not greasy or leaking any oil all over the place. Taste is a 10/10. The zeppolis I normally get from the others mentioned above are usually not good the day after for leftovers. The ones from here are incredible! They put a very good amount of sugar on them and they are nice and soft (not hard like others I won't mention). I won't order from anywhere else from now on. The only thing I have left to try from here is the garlic knots!

Had grouper very small portion and very expensive. Would not order again server never came back to the table to ask if everything was ok until i asked for the check.

We have vacationed in Stuart Florida for the past 2 years and have found La Borgota as a hidden treasure. Love the food, love the ambiance. Thank you

This spot is the one I like best. I eat in plenty of restaurants but to this restaurant I go the most. The crew is very affectionate and the food they cook is so appetizing. I would always prefer to have a nice meal in this place. I highly recommend this place.

Charming and welcoming owner (Theresa). The food is southern Italian and very good. Especially the sauces for the meats.

A very different "dining" (?) experience for someone who lives and works in Italy. Spanish music in the background and DVD instructions ending with the word, "Gracias." This should have been a hint to me that this was Italian dining on American standards. (MINUS ONE.) With only two tables occupied when I arrived I was led to a table near a party of four which, after seeing and hearing two of the four chatting on the cell phone I refused, commenting that I wanted to eat in peace and not be part of others' conversations. (MINUS TWO). I relocated myself halfway between that party of four and another party of four celebrating a birthday. The celebrant, hard-of-hearing in his left ear (or so he told me) flavored his conversation with the foulest four-letter words I have heard in a restaurant with the appearance of La Borgata. I approached the table, told the group that I was seated two tables away and asked that he lower his voice. I relocated to the bar when after I heard "G-d da*n" and "Son of a Bit*h" for the fifth or sixth time increasing in frequency and volume with each glass of wine he consumed. The untermenschen left while I still was seated at the bar and the birthday boy was the last to leave passing me with the Christian comment, "Get a fu**ing life." (MINUS THREE). You take your chances at this place and food fit for a king cannot compensate for the cell chatter and the character of drunken customers. Miss Theresa is a class act. But she alone won't motivate me or my friends who know how to dine in a civilized atmosphere to return to this swamp until it's drained of foul-mouthed drunks.

My new favorite pizza place! We had a minor problem but they were quick to apologize and fix. That alone would have earned them my future business. Then I tried the pizza...AMAZING! We tried a Grandma's cheese pizza and a stuffed pizza. Their red sauce is fantastic with incredible flavor. The dough was also full of flavor and perfectly cooked, both crisp and chewy at the same time. I cannot wait to try more from the menu.

We enjoy Pasta Monday. They offer a full page of pasta dishes that for one price you get soup or salad, pasta entree and dessert.

My brother and his family took us to La Borgata. What a wonderful restaurant! Every bite of my filet mignon wrapped in asiago cheese was incredible, with a dark mushroom sauce. Multi bene! Every dish brought to our table of nine was outstanding. The service was impeccable, as well.

This restaurant definitely needs chef Ramsey!! They have great pizza but lack communication and great customer service!!!!! Their hours on the website are inaccurate!!! So my questions to this restaurant..... You must not want be open for much longer especially from the reviews I ve read and experience also I ve had personally Stop apologizing and fix the problem!!!

Absolute worst sevice possible (by the owner of the restaurant)... After waiting 20 minutes with a reservation, we waited another 15 minutes after being seated before having to ask if we had a waitress. No one came to the table, no menus, no napkins, etc... finally got menus and ordered. Tables seated after us ate, paid and left before our entrees came out. No one checked on us, asked if we needed anything. We had to even go up to the counter to ask for to-go boxes. Horrible service at every stage! The unfortunate thing is that the meal was delicious but the lack of service ruined the meal and experience for our family and we will never be back nor can we recommend.

Not even a star by the way. This place serves ZERO accountability for a driver who drives 40 miles an hour down neighborhood streets. They allow for passive threats to be said at customers while issuing a complaint and attempt to bribe customers with free food to avoid firing an inexcusable "worker". La Borgata's believes in allowing for their co workers to break the law and allow for their drivers to casually do whatever they like to do in order to avoid running a properly functioning restaurant.

Ordered through Google's Order Food app. Was told the food wasn't ready upon arrival, then it was luke warm at best & the wrap was a soggy mess. Garlic bread was inedible. Wrap would have been ok if not soggy. Lasagna was fair. Tiramisu More

Great food in general but specifically one of the best vegetarian pizzas I've had in the area. Knots are pretty good too
