If Google asks for a review of this restaurant after more than 2 years, this goes too far for me. In 2 years so much can change, for good or for bad, that a judgment is not yet appropriate. The three stars above are for a visit to the terrace, where the ordered lager was brought and placed. This is not a review of the restaurant.

Incredibly good lunch sandwiches, a little rest after strolling in the city, nice under the canopy and no nagging of overcrowded terraces. The ivy on the wall gives the atmosphere on the covered terrace a bit of an Efteling dream flight idea. The staff are very professional but with a warm and friendly touch.

Nice tent in itself, with a nice terrace. But the long wait for your food is disappointing. Menu is not necessarily very unique or something. Just the standard stuff.

For smokers and non-smokers, there is an ideal terrace with comfortable sofas and good service

Relaxed place with a great snack for the late evening. Wide choice of beer and other drinks. Cheerful staff.

At the front you can sit on the benches on the covered terrace. The staff is generally good. When the weather is nice you can't eat quietly indoors because everyone walks from the terrace through to the toilet. The tarts are on the small side. The slice of heaven is a piece of chocolate that I advise against for such a price.

Nice opportunity for a drink, snack or drink. Friendly staff, limited map, nice location.

Sunday morning, around eleven o'clock. During a weekend in Gorinchem I treat six people to a brunch. I had already seen on the menu that there was no omelet on it, but all kinds of bouncers. And after hundreds of omelettes throughout the country, I shout optimistically to my friends. "Well, I still have to come across the first restaurant that can make a bouncer, but cannot make an omelet.

Me: I see that there are only bouncers on the lunch menu. But can I also get a ham / cheese omelet?

The man of the ministry: No, that is not possible.

Me: But why not, is it almost the same?

Operation: It is more work.

Me: then you just ask for something more?

Operation: Yes, it really is not possible. The cook doesn't want it.

Me: Well, just a bouncer, with the yolk broken please.

You guessed it, a bouncer with whole yolk followed.

OK, it's just an omelette, but what's wrong with giving SOMETHING more service and, in the meantime, making some money?

This restaurant is housed in a beautiful historic building and has two terraces. The interior is modern and attractive. Our cappuccino and croquettes were fine, but this place only gets three stars from us. When we walked out of the place after our lunch I could look in the kitchen. The floor was full of small mess and there were cutlery and crockery everywhere. I understand that people work in a kitchen, but keep it in order as well as possible. Especially when guests have a look in. Furthermore, this restaurant is okay.

Very pleasant stay here and for a reasonable price great place for lunch.
As a tip I would like to add that the terrace on the fountain side is non-smoking.
We made the mistake of sitting on the other side once.
The view of the big church is quite nice.
Only you are then among the smokers.
So that was a very short visit and we quickly went inside.
The service and food are exceptionally good and with a stamp card you can "save" for a free lunch.
How nice is that.
For now, the restaurant with the most pluses in that part of the city.

Delicious eaten. The tappas menu is fine. Even ticking on a list might be something that can make ordering more efficient.
Staff can also receive a customer-friendliness course. Except for 2 colleagues, they look very Surly and are short off.

Only they are allowed to put a fan on for the chefs in the kitchen, not normally as warm as it is there.

Operation is not very fast, but I generally find this not a problem, were it not that after ordering a tapas tableau, it is served half an hour later with a cold bitter garnish, (tapas?) Two silly meatballs, and 2 tough greasy chicken wings. What the whole probably gave the word tapas is some olives in a bowl. The bread was fine but you pay extra for it, all in all not recommended.

Very nice place to have a drink or a snack. Equipped with two beautiful terraces, making it a great place to stay in winter and summer. The service is friendly, the food is good and the location is great!

Very tasty food. Fairly simple menu with enough choice and good food. No special meals, but well executed! Staff were friendly and sometimes somewhat awkward. Friendly owner (?) Who sent away a disturbing pair very subtly and gave us a drink from the house due to the inconvenience.
All in all a great evening!

Was too busy and waited a long time for a spicy sandwich. Sorry but not for me anymore.

We thought, let's get some takeout and after some lesser experiences with other restaurants, the way of packaging and the preparation of the food here is just very good. When it came home it was still well heated and again neatly packaged.
We only had a starter and main course, this was very tasty and more than enough. Really recommended !!

What the name says, this restaurant is located in an old town hall. The location is perfect and is located on a pleasant square in the historic heart of Gorinchem. The service is friendly, helpful and non-intrusive. The menu is not special but tastes great. A good location for 2 people to eat out for around 80.

The other reviews were right: it's been soooooo long for your food here. A free drink was offered for this. The food was mediocre: watery salsa, predominant sauce and chewy steak. A waste of the evening for us.

Today 26 12 2018 may I say two coffee you say two coffee they come with a coffee so do but also a bitter garnish just lukewarm so pfff

The menu has a good selection, the prices are fair, the portions are okay and the food tastes good. The service during our visit was very friendly. Definitely recommended.
