L'Occitane en Provence Review

10% on all Occitane products in the factory shop. Is it worth it. The shop is also very pretty.

As a fan and loyal customer of L'occitane, I felt disappointed after visiting the factory and the store. It was very difficult to find this place. We booked for a tour to visit the factory and we were late because we followed the address given on their website but we couldn't find the place. Both Google Map and the built in GPS on the rental car leaded us to a L'occitane store in a nearby village. We got a call from the factory and asking if we were coming. We told her yes and asked if she could direct us to the factory because we couldn't find it. The staff couldn't speak much English so she passed the phone to the English speaking tour guide but she couldn't tell us or describe to us how to get there. So since the GPS leaded us to a L'occitane store, we asked the staff in the store how to get to the factory. The staff said there is no address for the factory and just told us to drive back to the tolled highway and looked for sign. We kept checking the signs on the road (there are many roundabouts and each roundabout exit has at least 5 signs). Before we almost ran back to the entrance of the toll highway , we saw the L'occitane sign and we ended up arrived there. We missed half of the tour. We suggested to the staff that they should provide the GPS coordinates of the factory on the website to guide visitors to the exact location instead of wondering around in the middle of nowhere.
The 10% off on all products doesn't help much unless you spend over $175 and get some tax refund, otherwise the price is not much of a difference than buying the same products in Canada.

It's beautiful. It's fragrant. It is colorful. I like this place since always. And the products are great.

The garden at the entrance is just to stop and enjoy the diversity of herbs! Excellent production tour m, to do. Fantastic shopping, at the checkout there is a collection of beleza products, a small assortment, a great price for gifts. Only the container bag is worth the price; I use it for my travels !!!

Nice shop but almost no price different from the classic shops. No need to make a detour just for that

Factory shop with, optionally and on reservation, a visit of the manufacturing workshops, a trip with sensory workshops, as well as a presentation of the company's commitment to solidarity. Reference to the history of the company, from the vision of its founder until today. Really very interesting. Many cosmetics. Great choice in shop.

The Occitane factory outlet is located not far from the center of Manosque. Large store that offers all products at 10% off. There is the museum, which is right next door, which explains the creation of the company and the values it defends, as well as the different components of their products. The store is very pretty, the saleswomen are available, smiling, and at your service. The products remain quite expensive but are really of very good quality, without junk in them!

The prices are slightly lower than the Occitaine stores that are found around the world, but they remain (as everyone in the industry) extremely expensive, I would say definitely not for everyone.

An opportunity totally wasted by such a large company. There is no type of experience in the store that is in its factory. It's like going to any other store in the world. There is only a 10% discount. You can find better deals in other parts of the world. It seems very strange to me that in these times, the concept of offering an experience to the client is not known. This is the main plant of L'Occitane with an attached boutique and a garden where the plants used in the products are grown. Being very regular customers, but today it was a bit of a cold shower knowing that we bought so-called full price products and others said in private sale. We asked to receive a loyalty gift. And what was not our surprise since we were told that we could not benefit from it since we had products for private sale. I find you a little cavalier and a bit mean on this point.

You find it at the same price or cheaper at AMAZON. The only good thing is that it has a mini museum.
