Awesome food and great beers. Good service and live bands. Its in dublin and worth flight by itself.
Fell in love with this place. It has all of your whiskey, beer, and food needs. Also, the best Irish Coffee we ve ever had.
Rude staff, overpriced food. Much better options in Dublin 7, avoid!
Anytime we've dined here has been memorable. The food is delicious. Staff are very helpful and courteous. We will be visiting again...many more times.
This is a gem in the "revitalized" neighbourhood of Stoneybatter, in Dublin 7. The food is a bit fancy and a lot tasty! It is a bit pricey too but definitely worth the investiment of time and money to eat here. The owners also operate an AirBnB apartment. Check in was easy and included some local craft beers.
The service was absolutely wonderful.
Great service and amazing food. Well worth a visit!
We went with a group of 5 friends, had to wait a bit to be seated but got a beer in the meantime (great selection by the way), we had a great time and excellent food (preferrably local and organic), especially the cheese selection and the amazing desserts, the service was nice and the atmosphere was lovely, will definitely go back soon.
Nice place. Good food and drink, shame about really high prices.
Had the vegan bon bon and the Eton mess for dessert. Both were amazing!!!
Busy spot. I was here for st Patrick's day and it was so full. We booked for lunch and that was a good idea. Food is very tasty and there is a terrific range of beers. Very popular with locals. Best to book ahead.
What an excellent place. The food and the beers are spot on. Just go there...
Very poor service. Was waiting 15 minutes at the bar before getting served. Wouldn't mind if it was busy, but it wasn't. Staff passing by more bothered about decorating fancy drinks than the customers standing waiting to be served.
Food excellent. Great atmosphere. Staff extremely helpful and attentive.
Great hearty and healthy authentic Irish food. Worth the trip from the Centre.
Absolutely outstanding! We got there right at opening and the staff were so much fun to chat with (Davide is the coolest!). They were exceptionally knowledgeable and kind. What we thought was going to be a quick meal turned into a 4.5 hour experience. I highly recommend this place for a pint, wine, whiskey, cocktails, a meal, and some more whiskey. We got the brisket and the trout followed by the crumble and the sticky pudding. It was all ridiculously delicious! So well done! Make sure to ask the staff if they have the lucky whiskey deal going on. It's a great deal on one out of three possible mystery whiskeys.
Enter, eyes wide open, order a pint, close your eyes, better still, keep them open and watch the pint settling in front of you. Now start drinking and let your mind take you back, to 1916, the earl days of Dublin or even earlier, perhaps the Normans or even the Vikings. Now come back to the present and your faced by an old man in a cap "computers how are ye". Go to the hop store if you like, but afterwards go to Mulligans and relax for an hour or two.
Some of the best pub grub in Dublin and a great selection of beers.
Just in and out again. Unfortunately it was too full.
Scotch eggs are delicious, beer selection is vast, every dish has a "recommended beer" for it. Great place, will dine again.
Super good! Medium in price! Fast on duty with a lot of humor. Minimum account 25 euros per person including drink.
Fantastic spot in Stoneybatter. Great beer selection, delicious unique food, lovely atmosphere and service. I keep going back! They also have a great room above the pub to stay at -listed on airbnb. Would definitely recommend!!
So incredibly hot that we had to leave before finishing our meal.
The staff were nice but the food was nothing special.
Great food and service made a lovely evening with friends.
Wonderful atmosphere, fantastic food and a great experience. Highly recommend a visit to this place
The place doesn t look like much. I took out my parents for their wedding anniversary, they were displeased at first when they entered. They quickly changed their minds when we first ordered the bread. The house made bacon jam was incredible. My father had the soup of the day, which he devoured and I had the scotch egg. Both my parents had the chicken kiev. It was beautifully crispy and presented. I had the lamb braise and was extremely pleased. The meat was tender, the carrots were probably the best I ve ever had and the black pudding potato cake was delectable. We shared the Irish Cream Cheese Chocolate Brownie ... wow. The music (classic rock and disco) was great and the recommended beers written underneath every item in the menu was a nice addition, I did order the one that was recommended for the lamb. The only drawback was the venue itself, which could have used a little more love. The staff was kind and attentive. It was a little far from the city centre, but after having such a big meal (great portions), the walk was enjoyable. 10/10 would go again!
Mulligan's is a great place for a cheeky pint and a nice place to treat yourself to dinner. Music on Thursdays always fun!
Very nice place to dinne, have a beer and spend time.
Very good food and nice staff! However, the price is a bit too high!
The hipster is strong with this one (they tend to mistake cutting boards for plates and the bills come in old protractor set cases) but the food is outstanding. No scotch egg has the right to be that satisfying.
First time getting a Mulligans at Home takeaway yesterday. Ordered the Buttermilk Chicken with Mac 'n Cheese as well as the farmhouse cheeseboard. I was very impressed with the quality of the food - it was top notch. Will be back.
Excellent food and drink, incredible beer and whiskey selection, relaxing atmosphere
Great nosh and drinks. Could use a few more hands behind the bar.
Waiting for disco night and dj. Fun evening and excellent meal
Always amazing food and service. No trip to Dublin should miss this wonderful place
Unexpectedly good veggie food, a really tasty, pleasant surprise (try the vegetarian haggis). The food was in general very tasty and well thought of and prepared from a veg point of view (it wasn't one of those places that has "a veg option" just to have it). I even got warned that the dessert I picked wasn't vegetarian, so thanks for that! The place also has a good selection of beer and other drinks. Will come again and I definitely recommend for a nice veg meal.
Excellent food, especially the veggie stuff. Portions are small so it is quality over quantity. A little on the pricey side, but again quality over quantity.
Hats off to the chef. Had the Vegan Bon Bon the other day and it was superb. Hard to find pubs in town serving veggie/vegan food as creative and good as this.
Good and varied menu, friendly staff and a great selection of craft beer
Good food, excellent beer selection. Enjoyed thoroughly, although the wild boar chop was a little short of brilliant as it seemed a little thin. All looked amazing though.
So many great things on the menu and an amazing beer menu. Only downside is that it's overpriced.
Really enjoyed our starters and dessert here. The ham hock was a little dry and tough for me. And very small portion for the price. But a nice atmosphere all the same.
Have gone before and loved the food but was very disappointed this time. Food tasted great but we got the lamb and got two miserable tiny slices of lamb...very small portions, sad to see what used to be a great place turn into a rip off joint
Fabulous food, delightful staff and a most enjoyable atmosphere. A place that makes you feel welcome.
Excellent place for a few drinks/dinner with mates. Wide selection of beers, and the variety of whiskeys on offer is stunning. Food is second-to-none, and a 3-course won't break the bank either.
Great lunch. Funky place in Stoneybatter. All items on the menu are interesting. Food was great tasty and well displayed. We had the cheese platter, the mackerel, the salad with chiruzovand pomegranate and the cloud du spectacle was the brownie with salted caramel spread and vanilla ice cream. The whiskey list sent my husband to the moon. Above all the staff was professional courteous and went off their way to accommodate my husband special request. Awesome lunch.
Although the staff were nice, I couldn't understand why they wouldn't allow me to order something vegan from the restaurant menu in the bar. The lack of lateral thinking ruins the service and literally meant that I took my money elsewhere. I won't be going back and will ensure that work functions are not organised here in future.
Delicious food and a great selection of beer to go with it
Terribly poor service and very poor food. No Guinness!
Damn, talk about amazing food! My husband and I went here twice and everything was delicious. The atmosphere is incredible as well with giant wood tables, vintage chairs, and menus that come tucked between the yellowed pages of old books.
An interesting menu with twists on traditional Irish fare, well executed. Professional service and a great selection of beers and whiskies too.
Based on a independent.ie article about the best places to eat in Dublin I went here for a 3 course meal for two. The food was good but not great and the staff made so many errors that it was frustrating. I was given a vegetarian scotch egg when I had asked for the regular one (the waitress decided to memorize our order rather than write it down) This wasn't a big deal, it tasted great and I wasn't going to send it back and have to wait for my starter as we had already been waiting a while since ordering. The main was slow cooked beef and it was tasty but the menu says it comes with veg and what they should say is that you get 3 small cubes of turnip on the plate. They also couldn't be bothered to peel the lonely, single baby carrot that was thrown on the plate which meant it was tough and chewy. The gratin style potato was the best thing on the plate. Very well done. A portion of chips we ordered to accompany a steak never arrived (a quick note in a notepad by the wait staff would have helped here) and after making them aware of this they apologised said they would be out in a few minutes. I'm still waiting on these chips. I have forwarded the restaurant my mail address and hope to receive them in time for next summer. The steak came with a slab of garlic butter so large and cold that it refused to melt and made the steak cold. Dessert was great and the crumble and chocolate mousse we're both tasty but for a close to 100 bill for two people I wouldn't be bothered coming back. Way too many places in Dublin (especially Stoneybatter) offering better food, service, and pricing. More effort spent on the food and service as opposed to giving you a menu in an old, worn out, hardback novel would probably see this place being deserving of the reputation it seems to have
Pub with good burger with lamb. Choice of beers ok. Homemade fries with excellent ayoli!
Great choice of craft beer, rugged food and hip clientele
Food was exquisite. Manager was very helpful, arrived first night under recommendation but was so busy couldn't be fitted in, so rebooked for the following night and was not disappointed. Received complimentary pint for not being able to be helped the first time. Food was amazing and would highly recommend but book in advance.
Great food and an even better beer selection. The scotch egg is definitely worth trying. the staff are very helpful and most accomodating. Has retained the feel of an old pub while serving great meals and a spectacular drinks selection.
Fantastic selection of beers, and the food is delicious. Not more you could ask for really.
Amazing combination of beer selection, food quality and ambience
This food is magic. I've never tasted anything like it.
The food was awful on my most recent visit. Almost inedible. And the menu has barely changed in years!
Such a great pub. Phenomenal selection of beers/sours/stouts, fab gastric food. Service usually exceptional.
Fantastic craft beers and spirits, great food. A must do when in Dublin
Food was nice but not very hot . Toilets were a big let down. No background music not much of an atmosphere.
Ok food, ok bar.I think they need to review menu. Overall charming place , popular with locals. Pricy for the food you get some dishes are better than others. Personally I would not go back..but maybe as a first timer you might enjoy it
Great atmosphere, had a lot of fun with live music.
Very busy on the night. We had no reservation but they fitted us in. They gave us a free appetizer to make up for a delay in our main course. Food when it came was delicious. Staff are attentive and very pleasant. First rate.
One of the best places I've been, not only for its current and warm decoration, but also for its very pleasant staff.
It costs a little to find their menu since they are hidden in old books, it is lovely.
It has a great variety of craft beers that I recommend trying.
Like your food, such as Scottish eggs, such as mussels in sauce, everything is delicious!
The food was good and the staff were friendly. My only criticism was its trying a bit too hard with the menus in books and bill in a tin.
