Great products, a Maine store, if you like the outdoors you'll love this place!

Almost everything I buy here lasts for years, the staff explains every one of my questions with a smile, and there are plenty of kid friendly attractions( the infamous boot, fish tanks with various and even albino fish, and giant displays of many elusive( but stuffed) woodland creatures)!

Excellent store where you can find everything for indoors and outdoors. Good selection of clothing.

LL Bean used to be my go-to store for all my winter and outdoor needs. But after today it will no longer be due to the fact that I tried to return a pair of defective boots and with their new return policy refuse to repair, or replace them. This is not the LL Bean store that I'm used to dealing with their just like any other store now. Looks like Amazon's going to be the go-to place in the future for probably most everybody.

Pants in the womens section are $20 more for the exact same pants in mens. Thats just not cool.

It's an iconic place for Maine. Love the household good store and fishing equipment section in the main store. Staff always is happy and helpful. Always recommend whether you live here or visiting.

Crowded, high prices and not as great a quality. Very disappointed in the clothing being not made in the US.

L.L. Bean is THE classic Maine company, I'd wager. Great quality products, for the large part, and the customer service and return policies are worth the money that you pay. Most people I know would take a good Bean's coat/boots before any other brand.

Gear as always was a little expensive and sometimes hard to find but the staff was remarkably helpful and nice.

Not what it used to be, not worth the shoulder to shoulder crowds and horrible parking nightmare. Skip it unless you're passing thru after midnight in February and need a bathroom.

This store is amazing! I ve heard about it for years and was truly taking back at how much they have. If you need camping gear and they do not have it. You will not find it.

Ed in the fly fishing department was absolutely fabulous. He was patient and attentive to our needs. Rich helped us with a kayak. He too was very knowledgeable and provided us with several options. We were able to by the kayak we were looking for. We would highly recommend llbean for any of your outdoor purchases.

Prices are really high and not enough handicap parking so thats why there is one less star. However i love all the free holiday events LL BEANS host.

Small theme park, some fun for VT people. Some renovations going on. Good to see some history of this brand. Too bad many its products are made in China. Not sure if my Prof still keeps this brand favorite.

LL Bean has been a brand name my family has trusted for my entire life. Growing up in Maine for me meant bean boots in the winter and bean tents in the summer. The quality is 2nd to none in my opinion. They have many top quality items to choose from, clothes, shoes, boots, tents, fishing items, firearms, ammo, etc...
The store is massive and can be a great experience for the entire family, with live indoor trout ponds and a little Cafe.
A word of caution to those with a tight budget; LL Bean is serious quality, be prepared for serious prices and an overwhelming feeling of needing everything in the store.

What's to say, really. This place is massive, always open, and probably the heart of the Freeport shopping district. There is a Cafe and clean restrooms, and lots and lots of shopping from shotguns to socks to bedding. Outside there is a stage for concerts, etc. It is very nice, and beats shopping from the internet.

It's LLBean. The only thing to not like is the prices, but I'm poor.

This flagship store was beautiful and so impressive. Staff was friendly and helpful. Didn't purchase anything, but fun to visit as we've been clients for decades.

Over this holiday weekend, the checkout lines were extremely long.

You know, I used to love LLBean. I would have given it 5 stars in the past. But now, like REI, I feel that it is just way overpriced. Great quality, great service. And I really wanted a pair of flannel-lined jeans. But I just can't pay $65 for them when I can get something almost the same elsewhere for $25.

I haven't been to L.L. Bean in a very long time, but when I heard that there was someone calling for a boycott of this Maine business for some nebulous political reason, I decided I needed to get back there.
It was well worth the visit as I got everything I needed for an upcoming trip all in one stop. L.L. Bean had lost its focus at some point in the past, but it is wonderful to see that they have returned to their outdoor activities roots.

The LL Bean store in Freeport, ME is the only one I shop at, so these comments apply there. There is still a faint Spirit of the early years of LL Bean which is what makes coming here such a nice experience. They offer many courses and excursions to take one into the outdoors and supply good quality equipment to get you there and keep you there. They also provide do many wonderful, family oriented things for the community, concerts, New Year's celebrations (done early in the evening so kids can be there), 4th if July events, etc. Products in the store are meant and varied. Some products can be had elsewhere, but some are unique such as the picnic set in a backpack complete with insulated wine and food compartments; super for hiking and biking. It's a great place for all things outdoors, but also for comfortable, durable everyday clothing and casual workwear. You can still get classic winter wear like wool sweaters made in the UK. Customer service is always top notch and floor staff know their product sections. Warranty policy used to be the best in the world, but do to unscrupulous people taking advantage, warranties are now the most common of common. Let's hope the Senior Management adjust everyday prices down to account for the change in how much they don't have to shell out for warranties, as the higher than normal prices were only understandable because of the warranty everything came with. Personally, I wish they would have just cracked down on warranty abuses and modified the terms rather than trash it all together, as that was what set LL Bean apart, and even if your rarely used it, it was good to know it was there.

One word, quality. Still need another, reputation. They value it enough to give REAL guarantees. Oops I wore out those sandals - no worries free replacements. Who else actually stays in business long enough to make good on that promise? But they do!

Their store in Freeport is huge, the service is always awesome. Products are near top notch and their return policy is excellent. I've only had to return one thing in my years of buying there.

What can you say? It's L.L. Bean. It's been on my bucket list forever. They have everything you could want here. Loved it.

Have you ever been to a store that was basically a small village? I mean seriously though, this place is open 24/7, has all the LLBean stuff you could ever want and is absolutely freaking enormous!

If you are looking for some good LL Bean quality shopping and you don't mind the trip, this is a must see!

There's not a ton to say really, but if you even remotely like LL Bean, I'd recommend checking this out.

Side note, I usually hate shopping but the wife got to stay here without any nagging for quite a while!
