For starters, I was a patron of this restaurant for many years. I have enjoyed excellent service and food products .... until last night. Last night i received an order with a severely under cooked steak (I requested medium and was served rare and bloody), but the mash potatoes were served cold. I stated my disapproval with my meal and it was removed from my bill. I was presented with a printed bill for $36.30 and paid with a $100.00 bill. With no explanation, I was presented with $31.70 in change. When I requested an explanation a manager attempted to say it was my fault. Bad service, Bad food, and COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT MANAGEMENT.!

It's worth a visit, but there are better choices, even within this chain.

Really good food, generous portions that are not ridiculous. Crisp salads and lots of comfort food choices.

I really want to give them a five star because of the excellent service and all around attentiveness of the entire staff, if there was a 4.7 I would give them that. The only thing is the serving sizes of the dinners that we got, although it was very good the portions of the fish... especially with white fish was quite small compared to other great restaurants I've been to. You guys are great and I'll keep coming don't get me wrong but it could be amazing. Just my opinion.

Decent food, excellent service, parking can be difficult on busy nights.

Kruse on by. There are better options. Price to food quality not worth it. Service was satisfactory - but another one and done for me.

I love the chicken fort and my wife loves the Maryland chicken. We have gone to Kruse for years. We are members of there rewards program which cost $25 which we save in about 2 meals and the membership last 1 year. I am not a fan of there alcoholic drinks (always weak and fluffy). Overall one of my favorite restaurants.

Great sirloin with great dipping sauce. Side veggies nicely cooked. Wait staff friendly and attentive.

One of the best starting bread I have eaten in a restaurant. Mac n cheese could be better and not as 'soupy' but overall good flavor.

My favorite place to get the bourbon chicken!!!! I love it. The staff is great. And I love sitting near the fireplace in the winter.

Took almost an hour for my take out order. When I aked about delay was told....pizza maker didn't put the order in....that was it.. i feel I should have been offered a discount or something for poor service. I have frequented for many years.... service has gone down hill.

Wonderful place for fish. Their seafood sizzler is the best!!! And their signature salad is delicious!!!

Unique menu that follows the seasons, well-crafted meals at a reasonable price, and nice wait staff. Portions are not excessive, either: no need to carry the extra home!

On 11/11/18, we ordered take-out pizza. When it came out of the oven, the waitress/server opened the box for us to take a look. What we could see was browned cheese and red pepper peaking through. Because the cheese covered a large area of the crust, I incorrectly assumed that there was a good quantity of toppings.
When eating, the cheese slid off the slices. The pastey sauce was applied too thick for our taste. It had no herbal flavor. When we flipped over the cheese, we found the toppings had been applied sparsely. The sausage was ground fine. There were, about two pieces of pepperoni and mushroom on each slice. The ham pieces were so thin and tiny that you had to look hard to find them. The pizza was greasy and the crust was dense and lacked flavor. Overall, our Italian family gives the pizza a thumbs down.
On the positive side, the employees, (Mandy and all) were kind, efficient and friendly.

The traverse City Cherry barbecue salmon was awesome along with the wild harvest pilaf!!

Dinner was good, there bread is Fantastic. Service could be better.

Have had several visits and most have been splendid. More recently we attempted to dine in and waited more than 15 min for a server. We left and took our business elsewhere. Tried again and ordered a salad with grilled chicken. Found the salad to be mostly trash iceburg lettuce...less than a handful was the "mixed greens" the menu boasts. This restaurant seems to be slipping.

Had my wedding reception at this place and the food was always good. I'm sad to see it go.

Bread was a bit burned and hard but otherwise okay.

Reserved a Thanksgiving meal about two months in advance, then canceled three weeks before the holiday. Whoever answered the phone never processed the cancellation and they charged me $265 on my card anyway, never even got to see the food let alone eat it. Called twice that day to see what went wrong and all I got both times was a girl going uh huh, uh huh , had to file a complaint with my bank to reverse charges. This place is a joke. Helpful hint: teach your staff how to deal with people on the phone.

Love love love the calamari here! All the food I've ever tried here has been awesome no choice is a wrong choice! Every time I've been in the service has been A+!

The food was terrific! The service was awful. In the staffs defence the restaurant was very busy however my girlfriend and I Sat through a 50 minute dinner never being checked on...the only time we seen our waitress is when she drop things off and she literally didn't even say anything... I had to go to the bar to get us more drinks... Where I also waited there for about 6 minutes to get to drinks. But the food was really good :-)

Service got out of the gate a little slowly for the 4:30 weekday hour with few other guests in the house, but the food quality was good. Lake perch done nicely with a lemon buere blanc, & a nice salmon salad which I will try at home. Comfortable, casual atmosphere. All in all, a good pick.

We have eaten there many times for 5 or 6 years ..Always have had decent food ..As with many places
sometimes are better than others and occasionally one of the party has been slightly disappointed ..
Overall though , we continue to eat there . Prices are slightly high for the quality and venue , but not really pricey .. The Harvest Pilaf side a favorite of mine ..The house salad is also very good ..
The WhiteFish is usually my choice for an Entre .

attended the special event last night at Kruse & Muer in Lake Orion. They're wine tasting events are very well organized, great value for the money, and lots of fun. it's so nice to be able to talk to the vendors about their wine and hear stories of how they created grapes used etc. They offer endless appetizers of various varieties and all of them were delicious.

Delicious mac and cheese. They have a really great gluten free menu here. The service is excellent, all around good experience.

Very great place! The waitress was awesome and personable. She took 10% off our bill because we had to wait a little bit for the food but I wasn't bothered because we were enjoying ourselves.

My family decided on Kruse & Muer for my grandfather's funeral wake. The service and food was outstanding. The bread is amazing, and the calamari is incredible! Try the gazpacho when it is in season! You will not be disappointed by any of their dishes!

This is the best place to have lunch or dinner in Lake Orion. The food and the service are always excellent.

Service wad excellent but a little underwhelmed with the steak. My wife did enjoy the salmon however.

My salad was good and my moms crab cakes were good but they forgot the lobster & shrimp in my Mac & cheese & when I called a couple of times they didn't answer the phone. Won't be going back here again but I do want my money back for the Mac & cheese!

In the this time of Covid you expect everything to be clean. Our table was sticky so that was a little troublesome. Our server was fantastic and so was the appetizer of the calamari we had. Our meal though was just ok wouldn t eat it again. My wife and I had the Kruser fish taco and the California fish taco. The only reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 2 was because of their service was great. I have been to the one in Rochester as well and I have never been really enjoyed my food. It has always just been okay.

Best co workers in the kitchen business, they make great food too, everything from scratch made the day of and prepared per order

Service was aweful. Our food took forever and the prices outrageous for the amount of food you received. We wont be coming back.

We went here for the advertised Thanksgiving dinner. The turkey was processed not fresh and had no flavor.. Vegetables were not cooked. Only thing with any flavor was mashed potatoes. Waitress had too many customers to serve, resulting in poor service. We were a party of 7.

Pricey, but you get what you pay for. Food was excellent!

While both times I've eaten here have been for a large event, so the menu is limited, the food us excellent. I plan to go back soon.

It's good food, but not necessarily anything that sets it apart from other good food.
