Great location in Tsim Tsa Tsui. It's near an MTR and the service was brilliant.

Beautiful views of the river and skyline. Choose a horizon toom for access to the lounge. Impressive breakfast with everything you could need. Highly recommended!

We booked this hotel for seven nights, and we took harbor view room. Please note the harbour view is not the one you see on internet, as it only sees the east part of harbour, until the convention centre. The hotel did not have a five star feeling other than the chic lobby. Rooms were a bit run down. There are not many facilities. Gym is good, there is a small sauna and pool (but very small). Service is not bad. They were kind enough to give us 2 hours late check out

A very nice hotel. There is a live band at the cafe restaurant at ground floor near sun set. It fills the foyer with pleasant music. One may find it enjoyable even waiting for friends there.

I got a nice room for the upgrade. The breakfast buffet was great, both in Japan and abroad.

The 5-star shop has a certain level in all aspects and the environment is elegant.

I once said that my birthday is on the day of check-in. But none of you have any arrangements and are a little disappointed. I thought there would be room decoration or cakes, but there was nothing. The buffet is also relatively pale. So I may not choose again for my next birthday.

Generally very positive. Experience with the staff was very positive, especially the group on the 21st floor that did breakfast and evening drinks/appetizers. The building is starting to get a bit tired - most noticeable in the stairwells - lots of dirt, rusty beams ...etc. But, the rooms themselves were in excellent condition.

I was looking forward to staying with as i often stay at the valley wing in singapore . Arrival was very smooth and seamless with our car waiting at the airport and a very efficient welcoome and transfer to hotel .Was extremely happy with our room, 1515 which maintained the high standards i am used to in Valley Wing suites. My only suggestion would be having a rubbish receptacle in the kitchen . Service to the room (ice, glasses etc) , was extremely prompt and friendly . Having some wine glasses in room as standard would be helpful.
The staff in the Horizon club were EXCELLENT at all times , a credit to your hotel . My travel companion found it difficult to get hot coffee though . My only complaint about the club was the temperature , and talking to other patrons they all agreed - apart from one day it was freezing up there - way too cold. The thermostat controls seemed to be behind a fascia door which would make it difficult for the system to work properly .
Ate breakfast a couple of days at the restaurant downstairs which was enjoyable.
The health club was great - a stylish setup and very clean . I took a 90 minute massage from peter there who gave probably the best massage i have had in ten years - absolutely brilliant .
All in all a great stay and i would happily recommend this property - the entrance experience would be a lot nicer however if you lowered the intensity of the horrible scent you have pumping through the pace - subtlety is key in these matters and its completely overbearing ,

Convenient transportation, close to the Victoria Harbour Avenue of Stars, no bathtub in the room, the overall price is not bad

Overall service was good, except the room facilities was a little dated. It would be good to have more USB outlets for charging and some bluetooth connecting service to link to the electronic equipment in the room. Shang palace dim sum was very salty fyi.

one of the best locations in hongkong, very near from metro station . soo many place nearby to see . worth stay here .

The Shang never disappoints! Dinner here was delicious, the staff was attentive and efficient. To dine here requires planning in advance, booking ahead is vital!

Service is top notch from check in up to check out. But the buffet brealfast is quite disappointing due to limited choices.

I loved this hotel. Great location and the staff were so friendly.. Especially Billy and Dante. I didn't have many requests but when I did they were addressed immediately.

Greeting was excellent. Our wedding anniversary was known and wonderful surprises were there with fliers and champagne. The room is superb and all staff very attentive.

The best check in, breakfast and Tapas bar in Hong Kong! The rooms are comfortable and quiet, ideal for a rest or vacation.

The rooms overlooking the harbour are very nice. The room is clean and spacious. There were two double beds, soft but firm. The service is impeccable and the breakfast spread was an international delight. Excellent dimsum and noodle bar options. The hotel is easy to get to, next to the MRT.

My husband & I celebrated our 20th anniversary staying in a Harbor View Suite at Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel. We enjoyed our staying from the moment we arrived at your property. The older bell man with a big genuine smile, welcome flower bouquet to recognize our anniversary, stunning Victoria Harbor view from our room, elegant room interior, quality of the room amenities, very authentic international cuisines at the breakfast buffet etc. We stayed a couple of days at the Penninsular Hotel several years ago and we enjoyed far more this time with Kowloon Shangri-La. We travel a lot, 3-4 international trips and several U.S. domestic trips a year. It has to be a truly memorable experience for us to leave a feedback and Kowloon Shangri-La provided it. Thank you so much for the wonderful time!

Kowloon Shangri-La is a proper 5-star hotel.
As such it has a grest set of amenities and offers you a pleasurable, comfortable stay.

The hotel has a grand reception area that looks very majestic. The rooms are in great condition, beautifully decorated, spacious, with big, comfortable beds and very nice bathrooms. Opting in for a harbour view room is nice if you like to admire the HK skyscraper skyline across at Hong Kong island. Room service is very good and rooms are cleaned twice in a day.

Overall the hotel has a lot of amenities. The gym (fitness area) and pool are small but at least they are there if you like to use them. The level of equipment is very good.

The breakfast is amongst the biggest and most varied I have encountered giving you lots of options across many different cuisines (Western, Asian etc). The bar was also quite good with a good selection of drinks and cocktails.

On the cons side, we felt the hotel was too big and as a result overall management suffered a bit. Staff where all very professional and each individually tried their best to be helpful and accomodate the guest's needs.
However, the reception and front desk was often getting very crowded (especially around check out times) and as a result it would take lots of time to be looked after. Similarly, at check in, you are not explained about sll offered amenities and services and associated costs or activities one can try around the city as most 5-star hotels will provide.

The breakfast area might even have waiting time at peak times and it would get fairly busy and noisy and as a result often service would be slowed down.

Overall, for the price paid one would expect for efficient management and better care but otherwise the hotel is very nice and surely I recommend it.

We recently stayed at the Kowloon Shangri-La taking advantage of the excellent room rate promotions on offer, enjoying this five star property in TST East as much as expected.

Reservation was made through the Shangri-La website, reservation confirmations were received immediately, check-in was a smooth and timely process and within 10 minutes we were in our high floor room ready to enjoy our stay. Staff were welcoming, professional, courteous and helpful throughout our stay.

Property location is situated on Mody Road with direct access to the TST Promenade where you find the fabulous Hong Kong Skyline, MTR Station just outside the hotel and plenty of area restaurants, coffee shops, bars and shopping.

Room size was very spacious by Hong Kong standards, furnishing and decor classy, beds comfortable, room lighting very good. There is a large work desk and spacious bathroom and shower. All expected amenities of a five star hotel are present inc. good condition iron, hair dryer, TV, fridge, espresso machine, Wifi A/C and room safe. Housecleaning was expectedly very good during our stay as well.

Note: Unfortunately due to the pandemic conditions, most of the dining facilities, the fitness centre and pool were all closed. This is the case throughout the city hotels at the moment.

In the end, we were very pleased with our recent stay at the Kowloon Shangri-La and will likely take advantage of their special room promotions again while they last.

Nice buzzy hotel. Good feel.
Very expensive food. Paid $52 AUD for a plate sized paella in the Tapas Bar and $25 AUD for a cocktail.
Would have liked to see the menus of the in hotel dining restaurants in my room. Couldn't get access to the 2 Star Michelin restaurant's menu to decide.

Stay for the first time in 10 years, but it won't change. It is modified according to the times, but the essence is a certain good hotel.

Indeed one of the representatives of the five-star hotel, the momentum is still Pang Bo, the atmosphere even more elegant!

The bed was comfortable, the video frequency was unclear, the breakfast food was of the same type and quality, the front desk and restaurant staff were enthusiastic and courteous, but the room attendant was sloppy and asked for two red and white wine glasses, but only two small wine glasses were sent! There is no wine glass in a five-star hotel room? So only give this score!

good buffet dinner. The place is packed with people.
