Absolutely gorgeous. The hotel lobby looks out over a sloping property that leads right to the ocean. Many of the units have full or partial ocean views. The buildings are realitively new and of good quality. Our room was very clean and wellaintained. The main knock I have was the overall guest service was just average. I would expect a property this nice to have club level service, we got just regular service.

The rooms here are amazing. We stayed in a 3 bedroom room. The rooms were spacious and we had a 180 view of the ocean balcony. The main pool is very central and the two other pools are close by. The food here is amazing. The beach is just a short 10 minute walk or you can take the free shuttle they offer to and from the hotel, which is a huge plus.

We stayed here for one night while switching hotels and really liked it. So far, it is even better than our current hotel. Beautiful pools and very caring staff, clean rooms, and beautiful grounds. At this point if go back there next trip to Kauai. Great pools for the kids as well.

Recently attended a kauai chamber of commerce meeting held at the newly renovated Koloa landing conference room. The event was held using the entire facility and allowed the updated resort to show off its new facility as well as showcase it's new restaurant. Koloa landing is now part of marriott autograph series amd the touche's to the resort show. I was very impressed with both staff and facility. Mahalo and namaste

This is in no way an Autograph Collection hotel compared to all the other AC hotels I gave stayed in. Staff Joy and Emilie, specifically were awesome but the property is more like a Hawaiian Towne Suites or Spring Hill Suites property. Extremely disappointed and would not use points to stay here again. Beach was not 5 minute walk but 15 minute walk to Sheraton Hotel. Since SPG is now owned by Marriott suggestion us to give Marriott Koloa Landing resort reciprocal benefits to your guests especially as Sheraton is undergoing 3 year renovation. Compared to the Grand Hyatt, Marriott fell extremely short of the standard I'm am used to with upscale Marriott properties. Thus is meant to be constructive criticism of a platinum elite for life almost weekly customer. If someone doesn't tell you, you'll never know. Thank you for listening.

Koloa Landing is beautiful. Had the opportunity to stay here for a couple of weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it. When I went it had just opened and there weren't many that were staying there but I think that's changed now. There are a couple pools there to accommodate for the multiple buildings keeping them less crowded. But why go to the pool when you can go to the beach! I would recommend getting a rental car so that you can visit different beaches on the island. The closest from Koloa Landing is probably still like a 10 to 15 minute walk but easy. I like the condo style rentals since eating out all the time can get kind of pricey, they provide pretty much everything you need to make your own meals and a grill if you want that option! Highly recommended. Kept very clean and the staff was friendly and courteous.

This is one of the best places I've stayed. The views from our room were spectacular, the fact that the villa is set up like a home was perfect for us as we have kids. Rooms were all comfortable, the kitchen was modern and they had everything you needed to prepare meals. Pool is awesome and the gym was not that well stocked but had enough to get in a good workout. Can't wait to get back

The resort fee nonsense needs to end.

The resort fee nonsense needs to end.

Please include it into the price and just have honest pricing. Many resorts started doing it because they saw other resorts doing it and getting away with it.

This place was great. We paid for the studio and they upgraded us to the one bedroom for free. The kitchen was huge and it included anything you need to cook a nice dinner from plates, cooking utensils and serving utensils. We were lucky that we got a discounted rate b/c they could not guarantee the new pool would be open. It happened to open a day before we arrived and included a nice cave waterfall and two water slides that are great for kids. Keep in mind that although the resort is close to the ocean (no beach, rocks), the beach is a 10-15 min walk.Keep in mind we also stayed at the Sheraton and we tried to extent our stay here since we thought the value was much better even if the views are not as good as some of the beach front hotels,

An amazing Resort perfect for couples and families. Definitely on the luxurious end but well worth the money.

Our room was ocean facing and would highly recommend trying to get one of these rooms. Nothing beats waking up and watching Whales from your balcony!

Oceanside side resort with a short 5 minute walk to Poipu beach.

The resort is perfectly located. 25 minutes from the airport. Plenty of shopping centers/food places within 5 minutes.

Plenty of water sport activities available near by from Scuba, Surfing, Paddle boarding and Snorkeling.

You won't regret staying at the Koloa Landing Resort

Nice swimming pools, beautiful location. The rooms are a bit small and old for the price, but it seems like everything is just more expensive on this island compared to other Hawaii islands.

This resort has everything that a family needs for a great Hawaiian vacation. You can't tell from the map, but it is only a short walk across the street from the end of the property to the ocean and a nice beach area is just down the road. There are multi-tier pools, cabanas for rent, and even a sand volleyball court. I would recommend this property and would stay here again.

This was a fun vacation and this place topped it all off. From eating breakfast and listing to the water falls from the pool and a nice breeze while watching the waves in the ocean it was amazing. Big nice area (3 bedroom) plenty of room. The pool area and slide were great. Wish they would lower the heights of who can go on the slide but no big deal. We met the owner and his wife while we were there and they seemed very nice and made sure we had a great stay. The room service was great. They were on top of it and hope they see this review. Everyone was really nice. I would recommend this place for family s or anyone else. We will be back!

Absolutely beautiful resort. The pool is huge and has multiple hot tubs and a splash pad, as well as two water slides. The staff are great and they have activities you can do that are mostly free(a craft event had an extra charge).

The location is split up into buildings and rooms, and at least for our building our elevator went to one room per floor, so it was very private and exusice feeling.

When we arrived our room had local chocolates and a nice canvas bag, and later that day someone stopped by with some really nice banana bread which was a nice touch.

This would definitely be high on my list of locations if we make another trip here.

There is not an accessible beach right on the property, but there are some nice ones within walking distance.

Very nice place. We had a studio which was great for two. This is a pretty new resort so everything was very nice and clean. No real wear and tear going on. The main pool was warm and very kid friendly. Nice baby pool area. Infinity pool. Three hot tubs around the main pool. Slide. There are two other pools as well. One medium sized and one small. The small pool area is reserved for adults only which is nice. We ate breakfast at the restaurant which was average. This area had many resorts and was nicer than the majority of the island. It's about a 45 minute drive to Waimea Canyon and about an hour to the north side. Nice little shopping area with several restaurants just a few minutes away- about a 10 minute walk. I would definitely go back.

We loved our stay at the Koloa Landing Resort! The property is beautiful, the rooms are really nice and spacious, the pool is so amazing and fun for the whole family, and the staff was very courteous! We held our 30th high school reunion there and we had nothing but great comments from all who attended! The food was EXCEPTIONAL! We had an ono (delicious) spread! Chef Rafael Camarillo even themed the display with blue lights, our school colors, and other nice touches to make it even more special for us! He and his staff kept checking on us making sure everything was just perfect! They were awesome! And I can't say enough about the amazing Sales & Catering Manager Susan Pomroy! She worked with us from the very beginning, giving us options, being so flexible and always helping us to have the best experience! She truly is the best! We also got to know their security officer Kurt. He always had a big smile on his face, was very kind and helpful and so thoughtful. It was raining the next day when we were at the pool and we watched as helped an elderly woman walk along the pool to be sure she wouldn't slip. I would totally recommend the Koloa Landing Resort for your catering and convention needs and also a place to take the family for a nice relaxing stay! Thank you Susan, Chef Raf and all of the staff at Koloa Landing for making our 30th high school reunion one that we'll remember forever!

I can tell they are working hard to improve the grounds. So far the experience is great. Being able to speak with the owner was pretty special and makes the place have more of a soul. My only regret is I'll have to come back before I can see the new pool!

They really know how to take of their guests here. Down to the tiniest details, they are top notch. Picture Perfect. Family Friendly for sure. With Comfort and Style in mind.
Ocean views, incredible foliage, and tropical texture.
Magnificent.

This place is amazing. Three employees are all very friendly. The rooms are great, clean, well kept up, and the 1 & 2 bedroom villas are like full apartments with full size kitchen, plates, cookware, ice maker, full coffee maker, all of it.
One of my favorite things is they have text messaging support. If you haven t done this, it s where you text and an employee texts you back. Let s say you are out for a run and want to order breakfast. Text, they send you the menu, call and you re done. Or you want to know when something closes, ie pool, restaurant, etc, text and they tell you.
They have 3 pools and one is 18+, I ll be honest, I never saw anyone at that 18+ pool so it sounds way cooler then it is. If you did want to use it, it has a full grill and plenty of area for a group. The other polls were where the party was. With multiple hot tubs, a couple slides, some water falls, it s very nice set up.
Finally, I wasn t there with kids but there were a lot of places for kids to play safely. Soccer fields, volleyball, splash pad, etc.
not related to the hotel, but the location has great running trails that went along the coast and next to fields, was very relaxing.

Affordable place on the south shore, would be a full five star if there were better dining options in the resort. Otherwise the pool was great, spa was good, rooms were cozy, good location, really nice overall. Would definitely stay here again!

We received massages at KLR. It was a great massage and the properties were beautiful. Our package included time at the pool which was also great. My only compliant is that the receptionist prefilled our tip amount on our receipts.

Nice pool and rooms. Well appointed kitchens. Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant was good. Negatives: No beach access. You have to walk down the way a bit to get to a beach and there are no chairs from the resort. The mattress for the pull out sofa in the 1 bedroom rooms was horrible. It wasn't even sufficient for a child and definitely not for an adult. For the price, they should upgrade those mattresses.

Fabulous and welcoming from the first guest service experience, Fran checked us in and was so engaging with us and our grandchildren. Then we were welcomed with lei's for the grandchildren and cute stuffed animals (shark with a baby ) and a cute whale!

The room was fabulous, the pool was amazing and the Holo Holo Grill and server "Chance" was super, food was great!

In fact from the start in Reservations, we were treated wonderfully! Jennifer Acoba even helped us arrange cabana. The team at Koloa Landing really shows aloha, they all service you as family and it's evident that they all love their jobs and it shows in their actions and service. Keep up the Great job!

This is now our BEST of the BEST for Kauai and for our stay-cations in the future.

Thank you it was just what we needed for an extended weekend getaway!

Beautiful, really incredible.

Beautiful, really incredible.
I wasn't impressed with the Holo Holo Grill. When we arrived it wasn't busy. It took forever for service. My club was on a nothing cheesey bread, with the same seasoning salt they put on the fries. There wasn't much flavor on the sandwich. The fries were the best part.
My husband's burger wasn't anything special.

Koloa landing resort is amazing! On our arrival, the staff was attentive, friendly, & so helpful (thanks Fran) & continue to be so. The rooms are spacious & beautiful, each with a kitchenette. The pools here are magnificent, especially the water slide (not just for the young-uns) . Our stay has just begun & we are already planning on coming back!

This is such a beautiful property! The room was contemporary and clean and had tons of space. I especially appreciated having a full-size washer and dryer in the suite. The full-service main pool had yummy food (poke bowl was a standout!) and great drinks. For serenity there is the peaceful adult pool. The only thing that would make this resort better would be if it were on the beach, but there is a swim-able beach that you can walk to - about 5 mins away.
I will definitely stay here again on my next visit.

We had a two bedroom villa which was perfect for two couples traveling together. Having full kitchen, washer/dryer was great. Great pools with lots of options. I enjoyed the quiet at the Tranquility Pool!

This resort is incredible! Gorgeous rooms, rich architectural details, tons of amenities, daily/nightly events and activities, and the most amazing pool/hot tub/water slide/water fall/sunbathing/outdoor water park you've ever seen. Endless fun for kids and adults alike. Only complaints we had were: no room service, no beach view, and weak, yet expensive drinks from the bar.

Simply paradise. Such a beautiful resort in a beautiful spot. Very friendly employees and high-end amenities make for memories you'll remember always. Several pools, waterfalls and water slides. On-site restaurant and bar, pool-side service, cabanas etc etc. Located near shopping and popular beach and golf destinations. I never want to leave.

Wonderful, comfortable place for our family of 7 to stay. 3BR. 3BA. The pools were more than we expected and the property is just beautiful. Having a full kitchen and washer & dryer was just what we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay with our two teenage kids. Great space and full size kitchen with a terrace which was nice. Super friendly staff throughout the property and always willing to help. Was really surprised by the good food at the on property restaurant. Good value and quality for being on a resort. They also rent beach chairs and umbrellas which I highly recommend getting their early to do as they sell out quick. We would take them with us to other beaches on the island. Highly recommend staying here

Knocking one star off because I really wish Koloa Landing was closer to the ocean. You can see the ocean slightly in the distance and you can walk to the ocean but it's not really on the ocean. Their website makes it clear that the resort is not on a beach (the closest beach is a little walk away) but I was hoping for something that had a little more of an Ocean resort feeling.

Now that is out of the way, it's still a nice, growing resort. There was a major construction project that was supposed to be completed before we arrived that wasn't completed yet when we stayed so we had the annoyance of the giant pool outside of our room being under construction. It was noisy during the day but I feel like they're getting close and they should be done even with extra time for delays by the end of April.

I've included a panorama of the sunset wall which is a a short walk, through the backyard of the houses in front of the resort.

With 9 (or more...) buildings, this place is a bit strangely built. But it's a place that can make you feel at home! The room was beautifully decorated and the kitchen was equipped with everything that we needed and the room had a washing machine and a dryer, which was an extra plus after the long travel. The place doesn't have its own beach but it's located a few minutes away from the Sheraton, which has a beach. There's construction going on but since we stayed on a Sunday we did not feel it. I would recommend the place if you get a good deal
