Koloa Landing at Poipu Beach Resort Reviews

This is a beautiful resort with pools and spas. I had a lovely studio room with a kitchenette. The restaurant is not the greatest but will do in a pinch. There s a very small convenience store. Unfortunately, not all the staff are pleasant and helpful. Also, the housekeeper did not clean the room on at least one of the days. She did put in new towels but it was obvious she didn t do much else. The gardens and landscaping are gorgeous. You re not too far from the beach or a shopping center.

This is a beautiful resort. It is set up like a condo community. The rooms are very large (ours had a washer/dryer) and the pools are fairly big. You can walk to the closest (sandy) beach or shops in like 10-15 minutes. The restaurant on-site is fantastic, and is located outside next to the big pool, and they have a full bar there too. I would definitely come back.

Beautiful resort. Very tropical. The units are large, we stayed in a beautiful 2 bedroom / 2.5 bath unit. It had a full kitchen, laundry, nice amenities, beautiful bathrooms. The pool wa great. It had two slides, grotto and cabanas for rent for a reasonable fee to get out of the sun. We ate at their Holoholo Grill for breakfast and lunch and it was tasty.

Very nice place to stay. Staff is great very friendly and accommodating. The only draw backs is the restaurant felt more like a diner you think with such a nice place they would have restaurant to match the atmosphere. The second draw back if you want to rent activity gear like snorkel gear they were never open and when they were it was sporadic or limited time.

Beautiful resort but not super well trained staff. We had dirty towels delivered to our rooms repeatedly.

Excellent property and the guest service manager is the best on Kauai. She is very attentive to guest requests and does her best to make sure your stay on here is memorable. Ask for guest service manager Mary Mendoza whenever you stay there. The property has recently expanded and is very nicely laid out. The rooms are excellent and even though it's not really ocean front, it is not far from Poipu and Brenneckes beaches

My fiance and I went to Koloa Landing resort this past April. We had such an amazing time.

We were blown away on how amazing the villas were. I knew going in taht the villas were high end...but it was better than I expected!

The staff was amazing. We are planning another trip for 2015!

A very nice upscale hotel but no free or cheap food options are the only let down. But a very nice resort

This is a lovely resort that goes out of the way to make you feel welcome and provide an amazing experience to it's guests. I discovered the resort through Costco's Travel offerings, and will definitely keep it in mind for future visits to Kauai.

Friendly responsive staff. Reservations not handled correctly. Appliances need updating. Unit required several repairs. Resort located far from beach.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was absolutely wonderful! Can t not say enough good stuff about this place, but here goes..... Beautiful resort, amazing rooms, and everyone who works here is so nice! Can t wait to come back

80 minute lomi lomi massage was to die for and free use of the pool was great. There were 2 waterslides and at least 3 hot tubs. The weather was kinda iffy so didn't stay too long, otherwise would have spent a few hours at least!

The staff were the friendliest people. The suite was very clean. The pools and slides were so pretty and fun.

Clean and spacious rooms with full kitchen and washer dryer inside unit. Multiple pools for kids and one exclusively for adults. The resort is not on the beach but two beaches are 20 minutes walk away. Very friendly and courteous staff. Ample parking.

Koloa Landing resort is very nice. Staff pleasant. It is not on the beach but beaches are nearby. I liked the full kitchen and large balcony. We were right next to a smaller pool and the noise was never a problem. Furnishings were nice and unit was very clean and included tons of storage space, washer/dryer and AC that was a necessity. The internet did not work at times. I made the front desk aware and they seemed like it was being fixed. I had little or no cell service in the room either. Make alternate arrangements if you need to take care of any business during your vacay.

Amazing stay! Beautiful grounds, amazing pools, the staff were terrific. We will definitely stay here again. We were here for our 20th wedding anniversary and loved it.

Our room 5 star all the way! A 2 bedroom villa, wrap around lanai. Staff very helpful and kind. The beds are also very comfortable. Short walk to town!
Coming back here in 6 months!

Only been here one night so far. It's been very nice. It would be nice to have a map of the resort to know where different things are located. Everyone has been very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very nice. Kitchens are nice, however the stove take some trial and error to figure out (directions would be nice). But all in all very nice.

I don t recommend this place if you are Bonvoy Platinum. When i checked out, i tried to check my balance i should pay, because they have different policy of breakfast.
Anyway, after 2 days, they charged me some money without providing any breakdown all of a sudden.
This is the worst resort i ve ever stayed! Staffs are not attentive, kind. Please avoid this place!!!

Perfect place to stay. We had a studio room with small kitchen, so we made sandwiches for lunch to save money. Pool is peaceful. The rental for snorkels and beach items is reasonable. From this location you can do everything on the island from ATV, Coffee Tour, restaurants and Beach access all near by or walking distance. Would 100% stay here again.

We stayed in a two bedroom villa with an ocean view over looking the main pool area. Nice balcony. We spent most every spare minute on it. Just beautiful views. Rooms complete with kitchen gear, dish washer, washer and dryer. Staff was amazing and accommodating. Great area with a lot to do and even more within a 30 min drive. Best vacation stay I have ever had anywhere. Highly recommended! Kauai is awesome.

Spent here 6 nights. We were welcomed with a box of Hawaiian chocolate and a Mai Thailand cocktail. The room was spacious and comfortable, the kitchen was equipped with a kitchen and a washing machine and a dryer! Breakfast was a little disappointing but we are in the room and really enjoyed it - we prepared salad and omelette and things we bought and kept in the fridge.

Nice location - walk across the street from the resort to see the ocean and 2 beaches easily within walking distance. We walked over every day to watch the sunset. We're pleased with the mall convenience store and take-away cafe on site. Reasonable prices and a strong variety of stuff. Beautiful grounds. Lovely to view from every angle. Rooms are beautiful and clean. We got groceries from town for breakfast every day and usually ate lunch or dinner in, and went out for the opposite. Adults-only pool is a nice getaway from kids, but the main pool areas were quieter than I expected. Grills available on site also, nice for grilling up some pineapple!

Great resort, big pools and friendly/helpful staff. The price for the resort is a bit overprized but nothing out of the ordinary for Hawaii. Breakfast is not included but you'll get 30$ per day to buy food/drinks at the resort.

No wifi in both our rooms. One restaurant, very slow service. Jake the bartender was good though
