Gourmet kitchen, fantastic pool, spectacular landscaping, super friendly staff, luxury bathrooms, easy walking distance to several great beaches, shops and restaurants. Everything is great. There is some construction noise (until December 2016), but building two is far from the construction and over looks he pool. We hung out and ate most meals one the Lanai. We can't wait to come back.

Always superb.

Always superb.
We have stayed here three times - and plan to many more. We love the
stunning grounds, large pools and the rooms are amazing and well equipped. It is by far our favorite place to stay on Kauai!

I d love to write a great review about this property as it truly is a beautiful property. We stayed for 7 nights in a 2 bedroom suite which is $600 a night on average. My wife left her sweatshirt in the room and the resort wants to charge us $20 to ship it back. Seems kind of ridiculous given the amount of money we just spent there.

A very beautiful complex with a total of 11 houses, several pools distributed on a large clean area. Where everyone finds his place. The rooms are equipped with all amenities, small kitchen, washing machine, dryer with all that belongs to it. It is thought of everything. The service is very good and always courteous. We will be back.

The resort is incredible. The rooms are large and well appointed, and the facilities - most notably the pools are amazing. If only the service and general attitude of the staff complemented the stunning property.

We stayed a few weeks ago and arrived around 1pm, hoping for an early check in - but by no means expecting it. We have a 20 month old and it was nap time so we asked if our room was ready yet. We were told that housekeeping were in the room and would be another 10 minutes. After waiting 20 mins, we decided to go and have lunch at the restaurant. About an hour later we returned to the reception desk to be told that our room was not ready, housekeeping were in there and it would be about another 10mins. So we went back into town to get some groceries. About an hour later we arrived back at the hotel and for the third time were told that housekeeping were in the room and would be about another 10mins. At this point I asked why I was being told this over and over and the response from the staff member was "Well you don't want us to put you in a dirty room do you?"

Other highlights of our stay include being finally sent to our room with the wrong room number written down (another visit to the reception to be scowled at). And then getting to our room on the other side of the resort and the keys didn't work (another visit to the reception to be scowled at).

We attended the Smores Night with our child and the girl handing out the marshmallows was incredibly unfriendly and barely managed a grunt when we asked if we could have one.

Upon checkout we were charged for a Spa appointment which we never attended. Instead of the staff member saying "Ok, I'll just look into that" she accusingly said "well Mrs XYZ (not a member of our party) signed for it." I had to suggest that they look that name up in the computer to see if Mrs XYZ was staying in the hotel and sure enough she was with a room number similar to ours. Upon realising her mistake she said "*sigh* Ok, well I'll fix that for you *hufff*).

And that was the end of our extraordinary stay at Koloa Landing Resort.

What a spectacular place to stay. We had the three bedroom suite and wow was it amazing. This place is so relaxing. The staff is so friendly. The amenities are just perfect. More than plenty of free parking. Grab a Lava Flow and hang out by the pool and enjoy your vacation.

The villas are gorgeous, with ample parking and good facilities. Maintenance could have been better eg. The stopper in the bathtub in our room wouldn't work.
And there isn't a restaurant in the hotel, but they do have a convenience/gift store where you can buy food and essentials. They do have a bar on site though... Not to fear, there are plenty of great restaurants <5 min walk away, so this was in no way a hindrance.
It's a short walk (~10 min) from the beach.

I had a great time and I would totally stay there again!

We were a little disappointed because this resort does not have a beach. You have to walk to the Sheraton, which is a ten to fifteen minute walk. That was a bit of a disappointment. The units themselves are spectacular. The kitchen had a Wolf stovetop, a Wolf convection oven/microwave combo and a Wolf oven-- all high end, a high end refrigerator and was fully stocked with cooking utensils.
The people at the front desk told us they planned on builidng a big water feature--i.e., another pool. There are already two pools, both very nice, but the fact that there is no beach was a little strange.

We only stayed here for one day. Large complex with good parking. Gave us a free box of Mac nut chocolates which was a nice touch. Updated and modern facilities. only downside was there was a scheduled power outage in middle of night they failed to tell us about. As a result, the room was quite warm for 2 hours while we slept.

This is a beautiful resort, with beautiful views of the ocean, depending on which building you're staying in. The rooms are amazing, and the employees are wonderful. There is a restaurant right next to the biggest pool, (there are 3 pools), and they provide food for room service. Employees at the grill are also wonderful. The only thing I could say was a downside, for me, was that they don't allow smoking of any kind on the property. This includes vaping. But walking off of the property isn't a problem.

This is an amazing resort with the most amazing pool we had the pleasure of using while in Hawaii !!! The rooms are very clean and beautiful. The staff is amazing , especially Austin at the front desk , who went above and beyond to make our short stay truly enjoyable. The only down side is that there is no beach access or views , however , there does not appear to be much of that in Poipu Bay anyway. Princess at the front desk was also wonderful as was the entire staff. The lady at the concierge was also great , she got us tickets to the Smith Family Luaau when we were unable to get them on our own. This is a beautiful resort with an amazing staff , especially Austin who went above and beyond to make our short stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend this resort.

Heaven on earth and the customer service is the best on the entire island. Activities are plentiful for all ages here. As a Bonvoy member I will figure out a way back here you can believe that!!!!

Nice resort. Not great views. Quiet, relaxing. Great pools for families, couples, or quiet time alone. Good food and great mai thais. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking could be challenging but not bad if you don't mind a little walk.

Great pool. Amazing rooms that feel luxurious. There's an adults pool away from the main pool that has waterfalls and is a nice calm spot. The pools were a little cold for my taste but it's possible it was only me, plenty of other people were in there. Note that there isn't a beach right here. There's a road between you and the rocky shore. The road is quiet. And the shore is still an awesome place to watch a sunset.

This resort exceeded our expectation in every way. We had booked through Costco Travel and felt that the value we received at their contracted rate was great. The seven cascading pools from the lobby towards the ocean are beautiful. The 2 bedroom unit is well appointed and most spacious with lots of closets. In the restaurant, be sure to have B.C. Fish and Chips named for Utah owner Bill Childs and made with mahi-mahi.

Very nice place for a family vacation. We rented a 3 bedroom villa. All rooms were a good size, master was huge. The villa has a pullout sofa bed which was decent. The features inside villa were very nice. Pools very nice. Restaurants ok. No quick beach access but very walkable to a nice beach, 10-15 minute walk. I would stay here again for a family vacation for sure!!

Really enjoyed it here despite the unusual very windy conditions. Great room- spacious with nicely stocked kitchenette and washing machine and dryer. Fabulously confortable bed. Nice sized balcony. Pool area well designed and good for children. We only found one place on the property for food but a short walk away is a very pleasent retail and restaurent park with lots of food choices.

I stayed in a 2 bedroom unit. Very nice! The unit was well equipped and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although I wish they had more than one bar, they were building a new pool that was going to have a poolside bar. I will have to visit again when the pool is complete.

Beautiful property, staff was friendly, professional, and accommodating. Great property for families with children. Was great seeing the General Manager out helping his team fold towels and giving guests advice on activities. Location was great, food was above average, enjoyed our stay.

After a month of looking at all the different hotels and resorts, I found myself going back to kola landing. For me it felt like it was everything I was looking for and more. The quality of the room was A plus and the location couldn't have More

Fantastic pool, the rooms are amazing. Holoholo Grill offers good food. Service has been fantastic! The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is due to the loud Hawaiian music that plays on s continuous loop all day and into the night. I would prefer to open my patio doors and enjoy the sounds of the water and nature.

Very nice place! Construction not too bad, but will end up nice once done. Very clean and comfy. For the traveler that needs a good cell connection (we have AT&T) and Wifi, this is not your place. We own a business which requires us to check in daily. We have struggled to make calls and work on our computers when needed.

One of the nicest places I have ever stayed in: two rooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and living room, great view, pools, hot tubs, waterfalls, and a fun slide. The coast next to the hotel isn't beach, but I went snorkeling there and saw a sea turtle. The sandy beaches aren't too far away. I will come back again.

Comfortable, clean, well-appointed rooms. Excellent service. Pools are diverse and fun for children and adults. Excellent location. Tried the restaurant for breakfast this far - it is good, but not phenomonal.

Awesome place to stay the staff are wonderful , friendly and very helpful with everything even maid service workers were fantastic. Lot of parking very clean lot and building and all areas. The pools were top notch. The have free putt putt golf, volleyball, and soccer. The 24hr market place served food along with coffee and other essential items you might need like bread, milk, butter, candy bars etc. And many souvenirs along with personal items like sunscreen tanning lotions feminine products postcards knick knacks &shot glasses. The prices are a little in the higher side but what do you expect from a gift/market shop.

Great place to stay. Beautiful grounds especially around the pool area! Kiana at check in was so helpful to answer all our questions. I appreciated the kitchen and washer/dryer in our room. Location is ideal and housekeeping was perfect. Would love to come stay here again!

We cannot say enough good things about Koloa Landing Resort. We have been to Kauai 3 times, and this was by far the best place we have stayed. The rooms were immaculate and so beautifully decorated. The view was stunning any time of the day. Each day we came home to made beds and fresh towels. With two teenagers this was such a blessing! Everyone was courteous and friendly. The pools were incredible and always so pristine. The grounds so well kept and lush. We will never stay anywhere else in Kauai. Thank you!

Excellent hotel.

Excellent hotel.
We spent 4 nights here then 5 nights on the north of the island in Princeville. When we come back to Kauai we'll be coming here.
The room was large, comfortable and spotless.
The hotel is in a good location with a small outdoor mall walking distance away, some nice beaches nearby and amazing food at the nearby restaurants.

Beautiful grounds and rooms!! Staff was exceptional and the outside restaurant had great food. The sunsets are gorgeous every night if you walk down to the ocean water. No beach there, have to walk a bit to get to one, but locals come to sit/stand on the rocks to see the sunset right by the hotel.

Our studio room is great for our family of 4. We love the pool, but wish we could all go on the slides. My kids are 3 and 5 but great swimmers and love water slides but aren't allowed here. Bummer.

This is an absolutely amazing resort. The pool is HUUUGE. You never feel like your being crowded by other parties because everyone has enough room to operate within themselves. The view is beautiful, especially from the deck view that all the rooms have. We stayed in a 3 bedroom and the ability to open the whole room is seriously breath-taking. There are tons of food options around and it's super easy to get around the island. The staff was super friendly and helped us with any needs we had. It was without a doubt the best vacation of my life. If you are looking for a relaxing stay with absolutely no worries. This is the resort for you.
