I travel to the USA for work frequently and always have a smooth connection. Their long term plans are great for money.

A silly, super expensive service that isn't practical for most people. You're better off doing some research and getting a local SIM. Only useful IF you're in an absolute emergency. Also, customer service is rude, unsympathetic that you're helpless in a foreign land, and generally indifferent.

Affordable price and smooth internet services, certainly happy with services.

This company at first appears to be Great. But, later When I already purchased 2 Sims they changed their policy and no longer offered Free WhatsApp unlimited. This was a big downfall for me because it was the main reasons why I choose them instead of their competitors (ChatSim, FreedomPop, etc.). So before making a decision of purchasing this Sim, please be aware you might want to look at the competition instead. As when this company begin, there selling point and head-line, that set them apart from everyone was that they were the only company that was offering Unlimited Free WhatsApp, and ever since the policy changed it doesn't make sense, buying it because they are like every other company on the market, with overpriced plans.

I've been using KnowRoaming for several years. I've travelled to over 30 countries using the SIM Sticker, and 99% of the time KnowRoaming has worked beautifully! Not only has KnowRoaming saved me a fortune in roaming costs, the convenience of not having to purchase and swap SIM Cards all the time has made it super easy to travel with.

Always quick reply from customer svc email! Rates are better than most for what you get and way better deal than mobile provider. Texting doesn't work abroad but they give unlimited WhatsApp usage

KnowRoaming is reliable and is my to to roaming service for all of my business travel. No interruptions, affordable and pleasant to use.

As someone who hadn't purchased or used a Global SIM card previously, it took me some time to determine which company to select when my daughter needed one for a trip to Europe. Fortunately, I picked KnowRoaming. The SIM card was delivered quickly, and when my daughter encountered some difficulty when activating it in Italy, the KnowRoaming customer service representatives were outstanding. They responded to my emails within 5 minutes each time, whether it was 4 am or 2 pm. Their instructions were clear and the difficulties were resolved quickly. She found the coverage and the data speeds to be excellent. On top of it all, their prices for unlimited data were highly competitive with other companies. All in all, I'd strongly recommend KnowRoaming!

good company. i like to use their esim when i am traveling because i dont need talk and text but uber needs data. prices are very good for the high quality of connection. I think their reach is very far because so far ive use them in australia, USA, france, and south africa

I just used their new eSIM on my trip to California and it was amazing! Such a cool and convienent way to get data. I really love how all I needed to do was scan a QR code and it is on my phone forever. Definetly going to save a lot of time and hassle from when I had to switch sim cards. Can't wait tlll they expand their plans so I can use it everywhere!

Absolutely insane pricing, its not even cheaper than just roaming with your carrier. Who wants a 3 day plan anyways?

I used its service when I was in USA. It was so easy to use and I could see all time how much of data I was spending from my data packages. I loved it! Thanks a lot.

I've been using the Knowroaming SIM card sticker a few times a year. It always works very well for me in Europe, but I cannot count on it elsewhere. In Bangalore, India I got no connection and customer service was not helpful. For two weeks they kept telling me to repeat the same procedure. This never fixed the issue. In Tanzania the connection was only intermittent and very slow (this was in Stone Town, not a remote area).

My husband also tried the Knowroaming sticker but it didn't work that well for him. He has a cheaper Android phone (Motorola G, 2nd gen). He has no issue getting 4G signals at home, but when he roamed in Europe with the SIM sticker he often got no signal at all (or just EDGE) while I had no trouble with my LG G4.

I sincerely hope this SIM card sticker gets better because it's such a great idea, free WhatsApp is also a very useful bonus. Just know that right now it's not totally reliable.

Most of their plans are still prohibitively expensive and are short (about 3 days). 7 Day plans should be the norm. Check out Flexiroam if you're looking for something cheaper. Customer service and the network are better than Roam Mobility (former on AT&T and latter on T-Mobile's less impressive network).

Good calls and data connectivity totally worth it. I would recommend it to everyone going abroad. Great company having helpful customer care.

I used Knowroaming sim and its internet and calling connectivity is amazing.

It is just a very easy, cheap and convenient way to use your own phone, in many countries, with one single sim.

I bought it a year ago and I ve use it in Europe, America and Asia without any problems.

I recommend you to try it for a couple of times and I bet you won t regret.

Like others I had a long wait for my regular SIM card to arrive. It took over a week, considering I'm in Toronto and the warehouse is somewhere in the GTA too really did expect it next day or the day after. Got it two weeks later? Complete BS. Along with this they didn't even mention SMS didn't work in the USA for the week while I was there. Pricing is very steep considering they bill in $ USD but still charge Canadian clients TAX ontop! SO + 30% USD / CAD exchange then + 13% local tax! OUCH!!! On a positive note at least they added LTE and they roam on AT&T in the USA.

Through out my trip I never faced any problem in internet and call connectivity.

Initially I had some difficulty making calls, but I emailed support and they responded right away to help solve the issue. (TIP: you have to dial international format, with the +.) The data worked well. I used the weekly unlimited data plan - I just set it up and then didn't have to think about it again for the rest of my trip.
Will definitely use again

LTE in 80+ countries, no sim swapping, innovative sticker that makes any phone a multi-sim device, all prepaid, a must for anyone that travel and requires instant reliable network services when they travel; real time usage and costs through the Knowroaming app. Never buy a local sim again!

Their app doesn't connect and will charge you for pay per use data TRYING TO CONNECT to the already purchased a plan. Makes total sense. They use their own data to activate an unlimited data plan that won't connect unless connected to data go figure. Great job guys. (Sarcasm)

Their customer service is horrible and can't recommend supporting a company that doesn't meet basic customer service needs or rather chooses not to.

KnowRoaming: These people are CROOKS. They sell you data packages on sale then change the usage policy and wipe over $100 USD from my account. Don't be fooled!! They probably did me a favour, the data speeds and cell reception are the worst ever. Look for another roaming option. This one will frustrate you.

Overall a great option for anyone who travels outside Canada. It is great not having to switch SIM cards when arriving at a different country! In the past I used to have a growing collection of SIM cards from all the different countries I travelled to, which was becoming quite a hassle to deal with. But now with the KnowRoaming sticker and app, it is so much easier!! Also the rates are comparable to other providers out there. And the convenience factor is great. Plus now it is FREE to use WhatsApp when on KnowRoaming!!! Love it!!!
As for the cons, there are a few that hopefully they'll be addressed eventually and soon. For example, the steps required using the app to switch to KnowRoaming when arriving at a different country not as simple as there are a few too many steps to take. Also the best speed is up to 3G. Another annoying thing is the access to paid data not being available until first connecting to a wifi network (however right away making/receiving calls and text messaging work no problem). This is an inconvenience to say the least.

Very disappointed !! Calls always cutting ! Rates are expensive. I bought 2 sim cards to use free whatsapp after a month they change their policy without any explanation (completely unfair attitude to trick people) the network is most of the time really bad. Don t waste your money! I

I bought the 5gb usa plan for me and my sister for our road trip to New York so we would be able to use our GPS. It also really helped not getting too bored on the road by being able to check social media, text my friends and listen to music that I forgot to pre download. Would use this again.

I am so sad to know this crappy company is a Canadian company !

Customer care is so good and you will get very help you need.

I tried to use a sim bought from KnowRoaming for US travel recently, but had all kinds of troubles. I exchanged over 20 emails with their support department, and they told me to changed a bunch of settings. At the end of the day, the data connection continues to be unreliable and unusable. It would be better off to just buy a sim from a US provider, instead of going thru the trouble of using KnowRoaming.

Do not use this company. Balances expired and money lost due to change in policy

Rude customer service. No longer worth using. Bell charges $10-$12 CAD per day international roaming, Know charges $8 USD so around $11 CAD. BUT they make you buy at least $25 USD credit AND IT EXPIRES AFTER 9 MONTHS! after that they keep your money. Call your cell provider it is a better deal then with this poor outfit. I will not be using them anymore.

I tried to use this product as I travel for work on a regular basis. Recently I placed an order as I would be in Europe for extended period of time and after reading my Options, thought this would work.

Unfortunately, The company waited the business week to ship the card; which means it will not arrive within their estimated delivery time. Being in Ottawa I was expecting around 2 - 3 days after it was ordered. Their website advertises 5 to 8 using day delivery but do not rely on their word if you need this card for a trip.

I tried to call their customer support number, on Thursday and Friday but their recording stated I could leave a voice mail due to high call volume. After and 1 hour, 20 min listening to the same recording... I had to give up.

Over all, I would not recommend using this product. Long delay in shipping and no customer support suggest this business isn't ready to complete in the travel sim cell phone Market.

We have used "Roam Mobility" as has the best prices for USA travel and the sim card can be bought at Staples Canada. "iRoam" Can also be purchased at staples and has similar rates around the world.

I was traveling to Italy to attend my friends weeding and opted for knowroaming card. I was there for about 10 days and I never faced any problem in calls and data uses. Great service.

Definitely not worth the money. I just rechecked my account and they drained it. What the unauthorized charges !!! No more chances WAR!!!

I thought their $10 Europe 1GB plan would be a good deal, WRONG! First, you have to reload $25 on the app, then when the 1GB runs out it automatically switched me to no plan which is at $150/1GB so it took probably a few minutes to drain the extra $15 I had left over. Not to mention probably like 30 emails to try to get the thing working in the first place.

For US roaming i'm using Roammobility and for worldwide roaming i'm happy with Keepgo.

Knowroaming is now my go to solution when I travel abroad.
I was at first using only the whatsapp hability that you have in all cases. But more and more I use their packages so I have a constant full connexion.
And guess what it is almost perfect. When you fell into a small glitch, and mobile phone accross the globe is not that simple, then their customer service via a simple Twitter message is AWESOME! They always answer on the spot anytime (or it feel) and come with a dedicated answer to your issue (which is most of the time a lack of config on my side than a real issue).
People are really good at their job, service is very good. I am using this for around 4-5y now, 2-3 times a year, and I really like it.

If no stars were an option, I would have selected that, instead of 1 star.

Placed my order on Dec 25th. Jan 14th, still haven't received my order. Phoned knowroaming 3 times to check on order status, nobody can give an update on the order, nor can they tell me when my order will be shipped. They just say its in processing and there is a backlog because of the holidays. No eta available.

I just cancelled my order and am insisting on a full refund.

It was easy to install on my phone and once I crossed into USA it automatically switched to the SIM card. I had no issues at all with service/connection for the duration of my travels, it was easy to keep track of usage and it switched back seamlessly once crossed the border back to Canada. KnowRoaming allowed me to share updates of my son s games, use a GPS and video call my daughter back home.

A very apt and excellent service for the customers. The rates are also user friendly. I would recommend this service to everyone.

I used to travel different countries extensively and using their app, its amazing. Saved lot of money and time because of their good connectivity and internet services.

Company changed service agreement and lost my $50 credit. When i signed up there was no expiry on credit. They changed the rules and I lost my money. There also appear to be many single review 5 star reviews here which appear to be fake. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Check with your service provider for a roaming deal.

I travel extensively used this software app in an attempt to save money while traveling aboard on business.

During the month in which i trialed this software I traveled to Dubai and Nigeria respectively.

At the end of this trial month my phone bill had doubled in comparison to previous monthly invoices despite the fact that I had been using the KnowRoaming App on my iPhone.

This turned out to be expensive financially and a disappointment from an expectation perspective.

i ordered a SIM on their website well before my trip. They are advertising buy one get one free sim card, then i receive it in the mail and they only send one!!!! This was two days before my trip!!! And my husband and I both need a sim card each. I called to complain and they said they will ship the other one but that's all they can do....they can't even expedite it AND they won't even give me credit for their mistake. How do you advertise buy one get one free and you only send one?! This is so inconvenient and poor customer service on their part. Don, the "supervisor" won't even offer a credit for their mistake. Instead, all he kept saying is "we're already doing something about it by shipping you the second sim card". WOW, if this is your idea of "good customer service"? That's a shame, thanks for nothing supervisor.

KnowRoaming is the perfect product for frequent travellers! I use the SIM Sticker every time I travel overseas.
