The knights of Columbus is pushing away their child organization the Columbian squires, saying they want to build the domestic church, but in reality they are scheming it trying to make it look like it failed on it's own, by "loosing" paperwork and saying they never got it even when it was sent multiple times. They are claiming to build the domestic church but in reality it's because they don't want the liability
I am extremely frustrated with the K of C's lack of response to my queries. All I get is voicemail and no one returns my calls. So disappointing.
Very strange organization. They took a dream of a priest to care for widows of deceased members and now make donations to churches and other organizations instead. This was not the original intention.

TERRIBLE ORGANIZATION!! GO and TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSE WHERE!! I called to request a W9 because we are paying my boss's policy through HIS company and was told by Mart the MANAGER of billing that and I quote " WE DO NOT GIVE OUT W9 and don't have to." ..RUN!! Mary kept saying he's not our vendor lol I'm like not DUH because you are OUR vendor so I need W9 and she wasn't getting it. Kept saying he's not our vendor LMAO

Based on lack of response from the KofC Supreme Council and State Division I mailed my requests certified. No response was received so I called and was told it was never received. When I advised it was sent certified and we have the certification proof, they found part of the packet filed away. There had been no action. It appeared part of my request was started, but they had no idea who was working on it or what had been done. I have requested to speak to a manager several times, however my calls are not being returned. I would give them a rating of 0 if that were possible. In the meantime, I am sending a complaint through to the Better Business Bureau and seeking legal council.
This Corporation is terrible, my husband try to cancel his, mine and my kids policies and was never told I (wife) had to sign for my policies, they never try to contact us by phone to make us aware of the mistake. according to them they sent over a letter explaining the error but they sent the papers to the wrong address, this was in October. My husband just got charged again retroactive since October the monthly fee for my policies, and it was all because they didn't change the address, and OHHHH they so CAN NOT change an address correctly, we called, send e-mails and call again in a period of almost a year, and they were not able to change the address, customer service is horrible. we moved more than and year ago, like come on!!!! oh and they had received the surrender documents from my correct address and not even then they were able to changed it.
I am still waiting for them to send me the documents again so I can sign, this is 2 weeks ago so I called again to find out they told me they just finish talking to supervisor and will send out documents to the right address today... I hope they send them today because if they don't and I have to call them again to remind them about the documents I am going to sue them.
What bothers me the most is that they call them self's GOD's People. They just want your money, and will do what ever it takes to make you pay more. is embarrassing, disappointing , messed up that they use God to get to people and be such a fraud.
Please don't waste your money here go some where else..
A corrupt corporation, NO values! The agents cheat, lie, ruin peoples lives just to get ahead in their own lives. In the end we all get our day and these to corrupted agents will get their day.
I am a former 4th Degree member that is no longer active here and realized my Baptism is Doubtful since I was being raised in the Novus Ordo, the Modernist Sect. I am disgusted and saddened that they are getting rid of the Social Tux outfit and replacing it with Military Uniforms, not the way to go. I'll also reveal what goes on to become a 1st Degree. New Candidates have to close their eyes and are told the word "Secrecy" and never to reveal what goes on in the meetings, especially money issues. The Knights of Columbus has turned from being Catholic to we'll allow non-catholics and Gay and Lesbian and Transgender people to join. I'm never going to attend a meeting ever again. This is becoming like a Masonic Lodge, Skull and Bones. Time flies, remember death.

I don't think you divulged any core tenants of the 4 degrees. Secrecy is a bonding vow, not a way to cover non-benevolent activity. You know that Andrew unless you weren't paying attention.
I, too, do not like the change of uniform and think it is/was a top down unrealistic change that will take decades to replace the instant recognition of the tuxedo, baldric and Chapu. But it will not change my devotion to Fr. McGivney's noble charge to us---try to live it everyday, as Jesus Christ also charged us all.
Because the KofC is a human institution of mortal men, there will always be something we might disagree about, but that pales to the good and charity that it provides to millions.
Finally, you know that the entry requirements of the First degree (through the fourth) require that we be practicing Catholic gentlemen. any deviation from that is outside of our tenants.
Cannot access my policy even though I was sent a letter saying the transition to Tennessee happened. Tried to contact the Tennessee office multiple times via website and email with no response. Policy still in Connecticut somehow. Disappointed. Not worth the premium.
Not sure how to review this... All Catholic men should join the Knights of Columbus. The folks at HQ, with whom you will rarely interact, are really great people who believe in the mission of the Knights. Ask your local Grand Knight for more information.
Treat their employees so unfairly and doing a lot of shady things.
