I don't think you divulged any core tenants of the 4 degrees. Secrecy is a bonding vow, not a way to cover non-benevolent activity. You know that Andrew unless you weren't paying attention.
I, too, do not like the change of uniform and think it is/was a top down unrealistic change that will take decades to replace the instant recognition of the tuxedo, baldric and Chapu. But it will not change my devotion to Fr. McGivney's noble charge to us---try to live it everyday, as Jesus Christ also charged us all.
Because the KofC is a human institution of mortal men, there will always be something we might disagree about, but that pales to the good and charity that it provides to millions.
Finally, you know that the entry requirements of the First degree (through the fourth) require that we be practicing Catholic gentlemen. any deviation from that is outside of our tenants.
