My wife was admitted here on 9th April and she got the best treatment. Surgery was done and now she is recuperating. Doctors were super and you have nothing to complain. Nursing staff are very polite and easily approachable. Our room was cleaned by 6 am in the morning. Room was very clean and beyond my imagination. I have no words to explain their wonderful service.Hats off to Dr Rajgopal Shenoy, Dr Sunil Krishna and their entire team.Regarding the food they are supplying is also hygenic, hot besides it is cheap.They supply the food according to our choice. How they are managing all these things, I cannot imagine. FINALLY, it is a wonderful hospital.

I have written this review based on my terrible experience with KMC Hospital [Mother & Care], Manipal. Highly over rated hospital for Pediatrics. Worst team of doctors. Too much of hype of KMC Pediatric dept. Dept Head will not take any cognizance of any complaints. Patients are treated as minting machines. Some how or other they manage to keep the baby in the hospital for more than a month. If you have an insurance, you are the biggest customer for them. No good EnT doctor in such a big hospital for new born babys. They send you to Bangalore for ENT treatement for new born babys. Most of the time, child's treatment is on Trial and Error method. They dont provide proper reports. If you see their discharge summary, you will realise it. If we want our own reports and x-rays we have to pay additionally. For KMC pediatrics, treatment is no longer a service. It has become a business. They have a show off session at 12 pm every day, where the main doctor or his assistats,[who dont know the case] scare the parents. Many of them who come from near villages, are god fearing and illiterate people. They go as per what doctor says.
They are annoyed when you shift the baby patient to another hospital. Its a big failure hospital. I would suggest people shouldnt be going to this stupid hospital. After all its not only money, its a question of life and death whether rich or poor.There are many good hospitals in and around Udupi Mangalore. There are many cases of negligence from KMC. I will not disclose them here. We shifted our 3 month's baby to another hospital. That hospital, took just 10 days to give discharge. Exact problem was identified with an expert EnT.
Think twice before you take a decision to go to KMC Mother & Care Dept. or be prepared for getting looted. This pediatrics hospital, deserves no stars. But for some good nurses i ll give one star and zero to the doctors. Be careful people.

Good hospital with all hi-tech facilities available.

There are some minor things need to be taken care ...Like .. Advance. Security checking. PG should be able to understand the common people pain points, waiting period should be reduce, some one should be available to help and solve the new patients problem.etc..

A very advanced medical college, centrally placed in Tiger Circle in Manipal,. Karnataka. Very friendly people, who are ready to help always.

''Thank you'' isn't enough for the outstanding care and kindness shown to me during my recent Angioplasty.The nurses, interns, the whole surgical team, anyone else who was involved in my care. The care and attention I received was far beyond my expectation. Never have I seen such a remarkable group of individuals and team members. I could tell they enjoy what they do and I can't thank or praise you all enough. I would return to the facility for any and all future medical care and refer you to everyone. Dr Tom Devasia has a magic touch. He is the BEST.

Worst experience. Delay in treatment. Diabetic as well as CA patient stage 2 just kept empty stomach since this morning for biopsy. But doctor left hospital for his own personal work saying he will do biopsy tomorrow. What kind of treatment and mentality the doctor have..... lost faith..... We came for treatment there all over from Delhi to Mangalore thinking it woyld give best qualified treatment. All in vain. I think North is best for any thing..... KMC sucks..... Don't want to give even 1 star.

The only downside being a hefty fee, which in my opinion is justified given the facilities provided by the University. Moreover, Manipal offers some of the best research prospects in the country. College Life: Manipal is the land of opportunity that your talents beckon. What makes Manipal stand out is the diversity of crowd it attracts. You're sure to stumble on like-minded people and make great friends with. The town also offers a lot to keep your taste buds intrigued. Travel fanatic? Manipal got you covered! With a plethora of travel destinations around, there's a lot to explore with your freedom. College shapes you as a person and the town is unparalleled in this regard. Hostel Life: First things first, there are no traces of ragging whatsoever. You're as safe as you would be back home. Speaking of hostels, there is a choice between exclusively single roomed, air-conditioned and double/single non-AC boys hostel. A similar choice is available for girls hostel as well. Wi-Fi connectivity and round the clock power backup make the living experience a comfortable one. Each hostel has a distinct culture of its own. The environment is healthy and fun. Hostels are properly maintained with emphasis on hygiene. Finally, some shortcomings: 1 The hefty fee that hikes year after year is the only factor that might serve as a dealbreaker. 2 Being situated in Karnataka, the language might pose a problem especially those who wish to pursue medicine. Learning Kannada is a must for the aforementioned group. 3 There are 3 reported seasons in Manipal: summer, more summer and most rains. All this summer may be erratic but its monsoon that makes this place all the more special. 4 Staying away from family. Choosing a college is a pivotal life decision. Manipal won't make you regret it one bit.

This is one of top most private medical college .. .. infrastructure are very good ... And teaching and lab are excellent .. hostel and mess faculty are available .. playground and liberiey are provided are college ... Poor boy are available to loan facility .....

the experience is the same as that of G B Road ,you pay ,you stay and frankly nobody cares ,overhyped and under-performing ,state of the art infrastructure is married to incapable ,egoistic locals

Kasturba Medical College is located at Manipal Karnataka. It is located near Tiger Circle Manipal. It is one of the best Medical Colleges of South India.

Any patient with heart problems should always visit Narayana Hrudalaya, Bangalore.
In Narayana Hrudalaya, doctors provide very detailed information of the diagnosis very patiently to the patient and their family. They perform surgery only if it is really required. This is based on our bitter experience of my mother who was admitted to KMC Hospital in 2018. Consultant doctor was Mr Padmakumar a mallu doctor coming and practicing in Karnataka. My mother's report was normal. Dr Padmakumar was forcing for surgery to be performed. Tables are given to patient in such away that the patient is forced to go for a surgery. When we asked for details of why surgery is required for my mother and if surgery can be avoided, Dr Padmakumar was very irritated and was not providing proper information. Instead he was scolding the family members themselves. This clearly shows that the hospital is forcing for surgery only for money and nothing else.
Patient is not treated properly. They keep the patient in ICU for several days and make huge bills.
AJ Hospital in Mangalore and KMC Hospital in Manipal are not at all recommendable for any surgeries.
Finally it is our sincere request, if you have any near and dear relatives having heart problems, never ever visit KMC Manipal Hospital.
Inspire of our warnings,you still want to go to Manipal Hospital only god can help you.

Its been a very hectic experience.From the entry(security) here these people behave very rudely with us.
Even when my family member was admitted and when we went to see they dint even allow us to see from the entry itself inspite of having pass.

As a student who was admitted in KMC, I can tell you that this is the worst place you can get treated in.

If u want to kill someone aged take them there. Non approachable docter. Dr ray head of onco surgery non-pproachable. Dr shasrti said to be Dr medicine says to me that the patient has 50percent chance to survive n he said to me at the speed of 50 km per hr walking. Least bothered. My dear one died. I cannot complain. May be because kmc has good political hold. Best of luck guys.

Out dated Infra , which is being upgraded. The hostel facility is good, however outdated. Parking facility in the college is non existent. Lecture halls are spread across different facility

Well equiped hospital...bit expensive..eats both money and time

Best hospital for treatments..but it's not hygiene coz everywhere insect's and BEDBUGS..On floor lot OF BEDBUGS there... don't know how do they clean!!!!
Even the canteen food is worst and if you order food there will few BEDBUGS as complimentary in your tiffin carrier...
Request you to take care of this issue...
Even after complaining about BEDBUGS there is no response as if they want to those BEDBUGS in KMC...

The infrastructure was fine. It's one of the best private medical colleges in India, although I think the major chunk of patients are from the same state. This place is quite remote.

I know it's worth to be in KMC for any ailments. Came here only because I was treated beyond my expectations last time . But now , with GE department I'm not happy specially with the staff and their behaviour.

This is only a place for Hospital Industry,
Here I mentioned the word "industry" because, here only money rules.
Only Accident, Truma cases, and Emergency cases with Well money background is sustainable.
Here medical, Nursing, and all other Hospitals related course with high fee is available, only bucket students will pass out.
Engineering is also a grown up Industry here,
Students from all over come here for study purpose but while going out from here they learnt a lot with study and other all types of activities,(-_-)

Located on hilltop, surrounded by hotels, engineering, management colleges and many other institutions. Well connected to surrounding area with bus services- both Government (KSRTC) and Private.

Very good facilities, but poor response from doctors on duty. Most of them are rude.

The best private medical college in the county. Has all sorts of modern equipments with treatment facilities. It serves as the backbone of all medical treatment for all people living in this and nearby regions.

My family has been getting treatment here since 1993. Treatment here is really good and affordable. It looks expensive but its not. For all kinds of people they provide good service in medical care. They have a good hygienic environment for patients in all kinds of wards. Zero bribing. Nobody requests money for their service even if you offer they refuse it. Food is OK. Overall for treatment its affordable and worthy reliable place.
