My wife and I put a deposit down on (2) Lane leather chairs to be ordered. We were told it would be 6 - 8 weeks for delivery. Eight weeks later we did not here anything from Klingmans or our salesman, so we called. We were told that the leather was on back order from Lane and it would be another 8 weeks for delivery. We were so disapointed that we cancelled our order. We later found out that Lane had 110 of these exact chairs in stock. We ordered them from another company that cared about customer satisfaction and had them within 1 week. So what kind of information is coming out of Klingmans, you decide.

Klingman's store and staff is wonderful. The Vanguard showroom is always worth a visit. Channa gets five stars for her outstanding customer service and performance. She's always pleasant, kind and helpful along with having a pleasant and engaging demeanor. She is a true asset to the Klingmans store.

I worked with design consultant Lisa Gaither at Klingman's on several projects and could not be happier. Lisa is fantastic. She never rushes you into a decision and will present as many options as you need to find something you will love. She is very easy to work with, responds immediately to any questions, has great ideas but is not pushy and will go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied with your choices. My overall experiences with Klingman's and Lisa have been very positive.

I do not recommend going in here. They do not enforce masks, both customers and employees. Upon walking in the door greeted by 2 employees not wearing masks. Only concerned about how much money I will spend. Putting down competition by saying everything else is cheap and will fall apart. Not concerned with my needs.

The products that I bought and had delivered were fine, but I felt the delivery fee of $65.00 was a bit steep given that I could have purchased that same chair and ottoman online and had it delivered to my door for free. My real complaint though is that the day it was delivered it had snowed heavily. When the people from Klingman's arrived they simply hauled my order through the kitchen and hallway and into the living room without putting on the disposable booties that most tradespeople use or even offering to remove their wet and dirty boots. That's not what I paid $65.00 for.

Wonderful service , very happy with my adjustable bed, delivery team went out of there way to make sure everything was right even a trip back to the store! And a prompt follow up call from mr morris to confirm my satisfaction. I highly recommend klingmans a good experience from purchase to installation.

Excellent service and selection. Channa helped me find exactly what I needed for my home.

You're going to pay a more premium price for furniture here, this isn't a discount or wholesale sort of place. However, the quality of the furniture is top notch. My in-laws have purchased about a half dozen pieces from here over the years, every one of them has held up superbly and they are all nearing in on 30 years old.

The staff are friendly and, in my experience, not pushy. They will go a long ways to help you find what you are looking for and if they don't have quite what you want they never try to push you towards something that isn't your taste.

I will always shop here.

I worked with Designer Lisa Gaither last Saturday and she is truly amazing. I spend about 4 hrs at the store with Lisa. I highly recommend her to anyone that needs help with picking the right furniture. She is very friendly, patient, knowledgeable and has an eye for design. Loved working with her. Can't wait to get my new living room furniture's.

Channa is professional and very knowledgeable with her product. I brought a client in to look at dining sets and she came out of the appointment very confident with her selections! Highly recommend her, she really cares for her clients and puts her heart into her work.

Klingman s was recommended as a furniture company with great products and customer service. Our experience found this to be true. We made modest purchases over the past year and each was positive. Channa Jeltema-Lambert was our sales sales representative and terrific to work with in areas that matter: high level of customer service, design and product knowledge, good advice and counsel, and understanding of my objectives. I made a brief mention of a problem I had given up solving. Channa asked a number of questions and provided options I didn t know existed and the problem was solved. My observations indicate that these characteristics are likely consistent across the Klingman s staff.

The layout of the store includes many small settings with furniture, rugs, lighting, pillows and other accessories. As someone who is design challenged seeing a product in a more real setting was helpful. Klingman s has a broad inventory and access to the broader market. All logistics were flawlessly handled. Although each purchase was modest, Channa went beyond expectations to ensure the selected product was right for our home.

My partner and I worked with Jacqueline Isreals to choose blinds for our new home. She was able to help us find exactly what we were looking for with no stress and offered several options with varied cost. The person that came to measure was very professional and punctual. (Even with me providing the wrong address ) We were told it would take 4-6 weeks for delivery and were happily surprised to have the blinds delivered in 2 weeks. Overall the BEST experience we have had during our ENTIRE home building process. Thank you Jacqueline and klingman's. We will definitely shop with you again.

Ken is a very pushy salesman. We left because he wouldn't stop following my wife and I around the store.

Like the other poster, I also experienced problems with Klingman's when ordering two Flexsteel chairs. I was told that the chairs would be available in 4 to 6 weeks. When I called in 6 weeks to find out when my chairs would be delivered, I was told that they wouldn't be delivered for another 6 weeks. They told me that the fabric wasn't available. No one even bothered to call or write me to tell me there was a problem with my order. They absolutely should have known at the time of sale that the fabric was not available and given me the option of whether or not I wanted to wait 3 months for the chairs or cancel the order. I suggest that anyone who orders furniture from them get the approximate and absolute latest delivery date in writing and on your sales receipt, otherwise they have this "unavoidable delay" clause on the receipt that is absolutely ridiculous. An unavoidable delay is the workers somewhere in the manufacturing or materials process went on strike, not that they failed to check to see if a certain fabric was available at the time of your order.

CeCe (W Saginaw St. Lansing store) was extremely helpful in helping me find various clearance fabrics that would work recovering several pieces of furniture I own. I also found some great fabric for living room drapes.

I recently went to this furniture store looking to purchase a new sectional. Let me tell you, I got the best customer service I have ever had in a furniture store. We were there for almost 3 hours discussing what we wanted with our sales person (shoutout to Lisa!!!!). Although the prices here are a little higher than a big box furniture store, it is totally worth it. The customization options, the quality, the customer service - it all makes it worth it in the end.
100% this is the best furniture store in the City.

We came to purchase a table and they were open and kind but when my brother came to ask abput beds the man working said he had another customer because my brother didn't look like he has money. After being open to talk over tables with me.

Came in looking for a certain item. Felt like it was high pressure to buy products that were I e priced. And the sales person did not ask me what it was I was looking for. Just here buy this I don't care what you want but it's on sale so it's great.

Klingman s was an incredible experience. We visited because the table we had ordered at Art Van was not going to be delivered since they went out of business. Klingman s was able to get us a slightly better table that was still within the price of the table we were supposed to get from Art Van. Our sales representative Dawn was super knowledgeable and told us all the options that each table manufacturer had to offer. I would recommend anyone looking for furniture to stop in and see what Klingman s has to offer!

I would like to share a experience I had,in my opinion,the very best furniture & design store in Western Michigan,(Klingmans)Grand Rapids Showroom.I would also say "Second TO NONE".A lot of stores have a selection of items supplied by various manufacturers,as this store does,but what the others don't have are the people that the customer interacts with to get the experience I had a few days ago.I was assisted by Dawn Sutton which is a sales person,and right off the bat,she hit a home run.Very nice,knowledgeable on the products and made it fun to be there.As we wear talking about the items I was interested in I had the pleasure to meet and hang out with Jason,which is one of the owners and Dan Heinz which is the General Manager.We hung out,and had a supper fun time.Trust me,you won't find another store like this to put a smile on your face and make it a great day!

***DO NOT RECOMMEND*** Two years ago I purchased a sofa and chair from Kingmans for almost $4,000. I wanted to buy something of good quality that would last many years. Recently, I noticed that the lining inside the couch had torn along the frame and because of that the cushions sink down below the frame base when you sit down. Not only is that causing the cushion fabric to rip, I have also injured myself hitting the wood frame with my leg. I reached out, because this furniture is supposed to have a lifetime warranty on the frame. After much hassle, the manufacturer has finally agreed to cover the cost of the replacement parts, but they won't cover the labor. Klingman's wants ME to pay $160 to fix a couch that FELL APART. The damage is CLEARLY from a manufacturing defect and not due to any misuse by me, yet I am supposed to pay to fix it? I specifically chose a reputable store, and a quality, American made furniture brand knowing I would have peace of mind that my investment would last me many years. Please beware if you spend your hard earned money here and the product does not stand up, you will be left with another bill!! Think twice and shop elsewhere! I certainly will not be back.

Good selection of bedroom and living room furniture. Whole wall of fabric options so if you find something you like the style of you can pick your own fabric to match whatever. You can also have pillows made with said fabric to match, but it will be pricey. A more expensive furniture shop, which usually means better quality, but I cannot attest to this since I haven't bought anything yet. Friendly, helpful staff.
