***DO NOT RECOMMEND*** Two years ago I purchased a sofa and chair from Kingmans for almost $4,000. I wanted to buy something of good quality that would last many years. Recently, I noticed that the lining inside the couch had torn along the frame and because of that the cushions sink down below the frame base when you sit down. Not only is that causing the cushion fabric to rip, I have also injured myself hitting the wood frame with my leg. I reached out, because this furniture is supposed to have a lifetime warranty on the frame. After much hassle, the manufacturer has finally agreed to cover the cost of the replacement parts, but they won't cover the labor. Klingman's wants ME to pay $160 to fix a couch that FELL APART. The damage is CLEARLY from a manufacturing defect and not due to any misuse by me, yet I am supposed to pay to fix it? I specifically chose a reputable store, and a quality, American made furniture brand knowing I would have peace of mind that my investment would last me many years. Please beware if you spend your hard earned money here and the product does not stand up, you will be left with another bill!! Think twice and shop elsewhere! I certainly will not be back.
