Absolutely worst place in Houston to buy cabinets. Go to literally anywhere else. Also super pricey for the exact same cabinets in surroundings stores. Delivery was late, installation was wrong, cabinets are all defective and have to be replaced, at replacement they stopped mid install to go to another house, cabinets where wrong size and have to be ordered again, and customer service is "fantastic". (Get the sarcasm) literally can not do anything correct. Do not waste your money. Seriously shop around and elsewhere.
I love Kiva. I don't know why it has bad reviews. I have received excellent service from Sean over the years. Their hardware, appliances, and fixtures are unique and high quality. Hansgrohe is my favorite. After about a year, the tip of my soap dispenser corroded, and Sean replaced the whole dispenser for free with the newer better model, and it has worked great since then (about 3 years). The only thing is that they are not open on weekends anymore, but it's still an awesome place in a convenient location.
Not impressed at all. Spent 10000 dollars or more on a hood, range, mocrowave drawer, dishwasher and ice machine. Everything was good, they delivered and were going to install but we were remodeling so they didnt install on initial delivery. Up on completion of the house I called back and said I needed the appliances installed. They said no problem they would send someone out. I thought great, as they were going to install upon delivery anyway, shouldnt be much to come back out to my house less than 5 miles from the store. They later called back and said they wouldnt be able to come out on the day that they promised but they could come next week. The other problem was they said they would now have to charge around 500 ? for the range and 350 for the dishwasher. ??? Not impressed, wont go back.
I don t know why they are not open on the weekend. As a working professional it s hard for me to make it during their operating hours since I m working then too.
But otherwise their showroom is very nice and they do a great job showcasing their products.
I bought a house that has a kitchen reno designed by this company. They designed the fridge opening too small. It is basically a 36" opening for a 36" fridge. The fridge is wedged in place and is a major PITA to deal with. All refrigerators have spec sheets that show clearance needed to install and operate. I have all the records and drawings showing it was design incorrectly. It would taken two $5 pieces of wood for a filler/spacer to make it correct, and the knowledge to add those pieces to the deign drawing. There is no clearance issues that would prevent adding the spacers. They install appliances so they should know this. Yes this is a minor detail, but they 100% should have done better on this. What happens now, we have to literally pry the fridge out, and the fridge scrapes the wood and side of the appliance, and we have to force the fridge in. This is not an issue with the appliance.
