I went to Kitchen World looking to add a peninsula to my existing kitchen cabinets. They had a large selection and better expertise in cabinetry and butcher block tops than any of the big box stores I went to before. Sam (kitchen designer) had a good eye for detail to match the style of my cabinets. He also gave us exactly what we wanted while making smart recommendations I wouldn't have thought of. We have been to the store twice to look at cabinets for 2 bathrooms and huge kitchen remodel. Our first experience was horrible, not 1 person greeted us and when we did find someone, they were extremely rude. We went back thinking maybe we had a bad sales person. Wrong. Not 1 employee could talk to us or answer a question because they had appointments coming in any second. Funny, saw 2 people sitting at desk, no people and they still couldn't answer a simple question. Won't return, major loss of money for them and sadly, being in the construction field, word of mouth does hurt.
My experience at kitchen world was top-notch. Every time I walked in I was greeted by a friendly person at the front counter, asked how they could help me, and offered me assistance. My designer, Amy Anderson, was professional, very well versed in her knowledge of all of the products in the showroom, friendly, and went above and beyond to make my experience with kitchen world more than pleasurable. We were walking in the store in the kitchen department looking for countertops. We were considering buying a sink and faucet to include to our countertops. However, when we asked for assistance we found out we have to wait 5-10 days for pricing on the countertops or to even get a worker to help us. But meanwhile there was a sales representative with the front personnel talking. So we left cause that's just ridiculous!
We walked into Kitchen World as skeptics, thinking they were going to be "expensive salesmen". Walking around the showroom, we noticed the exceptional craftsmanship and quality of the cabinetry, and thought this was all way over our head. We sat down with a designer, who drew up a design that fit perfect for us, and then even took personal time to come to our house to verify my not-so-perfect measurements. He was able to hide an ugly wall with mechanics to blend right into everything. Once they design was done, he printed a color 3D view for us to admire. When we got the quote, we were awestruck....it was $3000+ less expensive than our quotes with big box stores (which were quoted with ZERO upgrades, basically plywood). With Kitchen World, EVERYTHING is solid wood, well constructed, and self-closing with pull out drawers and shelves. Every upgrade we could put into the cabinets, we did, and were still thousands cheaper. When the cabinets came in, they were fully assembled, and ready to be installed. Everything fit PERFECT, with no gaps, spaces, mistakes, nothing. The designer fit everything perfectly. The kitchen is magazine worthy, and is even highlighted in their website, Facebook page. I recommend Kitchen 100% for quality, price, service, and friendliness!
Very pleased with our new kitchen cabinet renovation from Kitchen World. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Rob our sales consultant was patient with our many questions, knowledgeable and accommodating. He came to our home twice during the process to design and measure for the job. We have received many compliments on our new kitchen and would definitely recommend Kitchen World to anyone looking to update. I also want to mention that the showroom was beautiful, allowing you to see the many different designs available.
Simply put..very disappointing. I went today because I had unexpected free time with my busy work schedule this does not happen often. I walked into the store today with everything one needs to get a quote. I told the lady at the front desk I know exactly what I want showing her a folder of all my research. I have exact measurements, materials we wanted and a time frame. The fact they would not have anyone available to talk to me is frustrating. Not having staff available to speak people who walk in is unproductive for the customer. They didn't have time to listen to me but expected me to fill out a bunch of paper work and come back some other time. I told the staff that was disappointing and passed on filling out paper work. I then left to go to Custom Interiors located in Tonawanda and even though they also go by appointments only they were not only willing to speak with me but listen to me and look and my ideas. They were very friendly and understanding of my busy schedule. They took my measurements and gave me an estimate, exactly what I was looking for. All in less then 20 mins!! Hope you can learn from this Kitchen World.
We shopped around to other kitchen designers, but chose Kitchen World because of Don Cotler.
Don knows his product inside and out and did not try and upsell us. He stated the facts about each product and discussed the pros and cons of each to make the decision process clean. He genuinely cares which is largely why we felt comfortable putting our investment in his hands.
We ran into one small snag: a wine rack came in 1/16" too wide. The whole team was understanding of the issue and helped resolve it by quickly sending out not one, but two identical replacements for us to choose from.
We will always tell our friends and family to go to Kitchen World because of their expertise, great products, and mostly, the obvious amount of care and pride they put into what they do.
The service and knowledge from the Kitchen World team is excellent and the quality of the products has exceeded our expectations. We love our kitchen and bath cabinetry so much we will not shop anyplace else!

My husband and I stopped into Kitchen World last October as we were considering remodeling/updating our kitchen, however we were unsure if it was something we could afford. We were immediately greeted upon entering the showroom and although we did not have an appointment we were able to sit down with designer specialist Amy Anderson. We told Amy what we were looking to do and what budget we could afford. Amy came out to our home to take measurements and photographs and within a week or so we went back to Kitchen World to view the design she came up with. WE LOVED IT!!! Besides being a much more functional floor plan, the design was beautiful! We did not have our install begin until May due to weather and we wanted more time to save for new appliances. Our entire experience was so smooth and stress free. We had great service from the staff at Kitchen World and the contractors who came to our home to install the cabinets and counter tops. We truly enjoyed the showroom and being able to see what certain products would actually look and feel like. We were so impressed by the design and the quality of products as well as being within our affordability we did not even shop anywhere else. Everyday we look at our new kitchen and appreciate how beautiful the Homecrest cabinets are and we truly enjoy cooking in the refined space. We would most certainly recommend Kitchen World to anyone we know who is looking to remodel or simply purchase new cabinets/counter tops/appliances. Very satisfied! A know a kitchen remodel is stressful, but these people know how to get you through it. They were very helpful in explaining that this was a project, to be patient with the whole process- they set my expectations, then exceeded them! If any issues arose, they took care of them immediately. I would come back here again!
My husband and I remodeled our kitchen using Homecrest cabinetry from Kitchen World. The selection of styles and finishes is incredible! Remodeling a kitchen seemed overwhelming but after browsing around kitchen world, then meeting with a designer we started with cabinetry and everything else fell into place. My husband installed the cabinets with no complications; every box was labeled with where the cabinets go and they exactly matched the kitchen designer Emily's drawings and specifications. I especially appreciate that we weren't pressured to purchase add ons or extra things we didn't want or need. Great experience overall!
Experience started out as a bust but they were finally able to rectify my problem. It took a few days but the end result was great. Would recommend this company to anyone.
Our experience with Kitchen World and Shawn was the best. We worked with KW on a remodel in the past, then built a house using the builder's supplier and the quality did not compare. So when it was time for another remodel we came only to KW! We are so please with the look and features of our cabinets and Shawn did a great job maximizing a small kitchen. The most difficult part was the decision making as there are so many options.
Excellent customer service. Recommend highly. Selection of choices of countertops, sinks & faucets were extraordinary. It was fun choosing. My new kitchen is absolutely beautiful. Just what I wanted. The installers were polite, professional as well as friendly. I wish there were more stars because they deserve at least a 10!
My husband and I recently renovated our kitchen (and by that I mean a total overhaul!), and decided to purchase cabinets from Kitchen World based on a recommendation from my in-laws. We had a wonderful experience with our designer Tom and my husband and I are very happy about our decision! The customer service was always friendly and helpful. We installed our cabinets ourselves, and I do think a little more instruction would have been helpful (for one cabinet in particular, we had to build up some bracing on the wall so that he cabinet had something to rest on and attach to - but a quick call to Tom assured us that we were doing the right thing). Overall, a great experience and would highly recommend Kitchen World.

I went in with a predetermined designed for my kitchen remodel and Alex was able to slightly change the design for the better with all their experience. We could not be happier! We recently had new kitchen cabinets and counters installed by Kitchen World. We worked with Jeanette who came out to the house, measured things up and then worked with us to slightly change the design of the kitchen, and kept us well within our budget. She was excellent!! She helped us pick out a beautiful counter (that we probably would not have considered on our own). It looks beautiful!!! When the installer came out, he was definitely a perfectionist and did a great job!! (Even the counter guys said that because his installation was so exact, it made their job so much easier). The quality of the cabinets is top notch and we are very pleased. So much so that we just had the vanity and counter replaced in our half bath. We actually installed that one on our own - except for the counter. Again, the quality is excellent. The cabinets are white thermofoil and are extremely durable! We absolutely LOVE our kitchen!

Spent $7,000 on beautiful cabinets and new counter. Small hiccup, but Kitchen World steppes up to the plate and got us the pieces needed and when the doors bowed, had them replaced quickly. Easy pick up and great help loading up. Professional delivery. Quality company that cares about their client and making sure everything goes right.
We are very happy with our kitchen makeover put together by Kitchen World designer, John Paul Balbierz. He helped us in so many ways! JP came out to our home in Hamburg, to measure our kitchen, saw various details that needed to be addressed, and answered all our numerous questions and concerns. He took lots of time and effort to help us design the beautiful kitchen of our dreams. The "Wow" factor was expressed by everyone who entered our new kitchen! John Paul also linked us with contractor, Dave Cwanek, of DAC Home Improvement, who was fantastic! Kitchen World has a fabulous showroom with lots of cabinets and countertops on display. No need to look anywhere else, they have it all and treat you well!

We highly recommend Kitchen World as a must stop when shopping for kitchen cabinets. We purchased cabinets for our kitchen upgrade this year and were very delighted with the customer care we received from Don Cotler and the other staff members. Don was extremely helpful in assisting us with our cabinet choices, he even came to our home and met with our contractor. Don drew up a floor plan for our new kitchen, recommended several key changes that we would have never thought possible. The finished job is excellentllent! Terrific customer service, you can still get it at Kitchen World.
Worst experience ever. Purchase 12,00 dollar kitchen cabinets that are worth about 6,000. The cabinets were not level on top. They had twisted doors. Ect......Dove tails broke and that came apart. On top of all that it tool 2 months for them to send a guy to fux them and he nver showed. Tried to reason with them for months and owner refused to speak to me.
This was our first kitchen experience and it couldn t have been better! The staff were great, the showroom offered a wide range of styles and it really was a one stop shop. The candlelight brand holds up to even my rough and tough toddlers!
Great cabinets. They did not make them. Bought commercial stove, 3 yes later not working, they do not stand by anything they sell, at all. Do Not and I mean do not by appliances from them. They r thee middle man. Give them ur money. That is all they want!!!!!!
We had a wonderful experience with Kitchen World with our kitchen remodel. We chose Candlelight Cabinetry out of Lockport for our cabinets. Beautiful workmanship and local! We would recommend Kitchen World to anyone considering a remodel.
I am very disappointed at the level of unprofessionalism! We went into the showroom filled out the paperwork to have a designer call us and were never contacted. Then I called to inquire about something and the gentleman took my name and number and said he would call me back within 10 minutes and never bothered calling me back. If that's how this company treats their customers, I think I will take my business some where else.
Timeline. Aug 30, 2016 10:34am I have been using kitchen world for all of my Flips and Rental Renovations. From beginning to end, I have been extremely happy working with Don Cotler from kitchen world. Being someone who has shopped around and used many different products, I can say kitchen world is the easiest to work with and does not lack in quality. The quality is always top notch and there is not a lack of selection. I am always able to find the perfect color and style for each project. Not only that, Don comes to every job to get exact measurements, makes suggestions, works within our budget and follows up on the job to make sure everything was provided as needed. One time we had a broken drawer and he was able to get us a replacement in less than a day. Considering I am working on a strict timeline, it is important to have someone I can call directly at anytime, to make adjustments or even with a simple question. I would highly recommend kitchen world over the big box stores, and I will continue to use kitchen world now and in the future.
A nightmare to experience! I walked in and the sales rep took some time with me and she sounded promising. I had to make another appointment with her-OK. She made the appointment for a Monday October 11, Veterans day. This is a very busy day for the stores. I got there about 5 minutes early and was looking around in the store, she got there about 10 minutes late-and no apology for that. We went to her desk and she then tells me that she really has to measure my house herself in order to help me-she insisted-OK so you just wasted my day and fluffed me out the door because you wanted to get other customer that might be walking in the door today? Bad move. (I had my measurements with me the first time and also this day) Ok so she came to my home and took measurements on an arranged day. I wanted my cabinets to go to the ceiling, dishwasher next to the sink where it currently is, double oven in a single oven space. Next appointment she moved the dishwasher to another location-ok now I have to redo the plumbing in my home and drag the dishes from the sink to the dishwasher-not convenient-what is she thinking? She took the cabinets back down from the ceiling, she tells me I can put knick knack on top of them in the open space-no I don t want that-what part did she not understand? She does not understand the double oven in a single oven space-I gave her the information so she could see the oven so that she can see that my measurements are correct for the oven, now she is questioning me on the price of the item- is she planning on paying for my oven? I want a pull out tray in the cabinet over the refrigerator-I am being questioned on this-just give it to me lady you re not paying the bill. I requested a 6 pull out, she told me that they do not make a 6 pull out. Too bad she does not look in her catalog-the one she gave me to take home, she tells me that they only make a 3 and a 9 inch pull out. Back page has the 6" I want! My kitchen needed it all: walls, floor, tiles, appliances, cabinets, countertop and funds were not a problem. I wanted wood, not laminated, light in color, if I get a picture of my kitchen on the internet I will follow up with a link. Sahara at Lowes in Williamsville saved the day and worked with me and the Nightmare turned into a sunny day.
Our kitchen was built in 1979. My husband and I saw your television ad on TV. We came into your showroom on Transit and was amazed at what you offered for remodeling kitchens. I met with Dave Gardner and can honestly say he made remodeling our outdated kitchen an adventure. I had no idea where to start and how to complete the kitchen. Dave guided us through the process and we are very delighted at the outcome. Thank you for your many ideas and suggestions. I am thoroughly happy with what Dave suggested and our kitchen turned out better than I expected. My contractor, Sullivan Interior Finishing, directed me to Kitchen World for my kitchen design. Designer, John Paul, at Kitchen World did a fantastic job, I love my new kitchen! Kitchen World also made the process very simple. I highly recommend them!
The designer at Kitchen World was very professional, our kitchen is beautiful, the installer is very talented, but beware of the after sales customer support. Our frig was scratched and dented during installation- they did not cover our brand new appliances during installation and we ended up with scratches which Kitchen World states they have no responsibility. Our house, kitchen and garage had sawdust everywhere. I had paid the bill in full thinking that this had been a very professional place and that they would help fix this problem. That did not happen. So beware
This is the most unprofessional company I have encountered. The greeter is generally rude and apparently the designers have the same "better than you" attitude. Recently my husband and I visited the store in hopes to have a complete kitchen remodel, however that will not be happening...at least from kitchen world. We met with a designer and made arrangements for him to come to our home to get a better sense of what we needed in our home. Unfortunately, we missed him by 10 min due to a prior engagement that ran late. My husband called and left an apologetic message on the designers phone. We made a few attempts to aplogize for missing him and he never once returned a phone call. We stopped in to see if our consultation appointment was still on for the week and still nothing....no communication from the designer. My husband called one more time, because we are looking to remodel soon, but this time the greeter gave my husband a message that the designer was "with another customer" and that he has given our name to a different designer. REALLY??? Excuse me, but that sounds like a grade school immature dodging response. We have decided to seek a more professional company to handle our kitchen and bathroom remodels. I am still in complete disbelief that this designer had such a child like response to such a minor issue. Sometimes appointments run late "life" happens. This man represents a company and unfortunately has alienated yet another potential customer. This seems to be a pattern according to the reviews I have currently read. I would suggest to the owner that you monitor your employees attitudes more closely. Maybe they need to attend seminars on customer service, because apparently they are failing miserably!!
I highly recommend Kitchen World for your cabinetry. About 7 years ago, we gutted our bathroom completely down to the studs. Our plans were to redesign the way the bathroom looked and to make more room in the bathroom. We had a hand-sketched layout of our bathroom but were unsure of ourselves and did not know where to begin. During that time, we had some family care to attend to so the project was on hold UNTIL we came to Kitchen World and met Emily Ozzimo, their kitchen and bathroom designer. Emily was VERY professional and she listened to what we needed. She computerized our hand-sketched dream bathroom layout, made practical suggestions on where to hang towel bars, mirrors and lighting and it came to life. My wife was so impressed and happy. After three visits, and with Emily s guidance, we were able to come to a decision on a layout that included a soaker tub, an enclosed shower, more space around the toilet, a two-sink bathroom vanity with a tower, and a door front for a linen closet we constructed. We were so confident in Emily that we placed the order, but we decided to install them ourselves. The story of great service does not end there. When the cabinets arrived at our house, they had some nicks in the wood. We notified Emily, and she immediately responded. Emily contacted the manufacturer and got the owner of Kitchen World involved. GOOD NEWS they replaced the entire order, having the new cabinets inspected personally before shipping to us. WOW! The moment-of-truth when it comes to customer service. We could not ask for more. Once the new cabinets arrived, I had to get them installed. Well, with my lack of construction knowledge, I was having trouble installing the tower and sink back splashes. I called Emily and guess what they did? They sent one of their installers to our house two times to help me without charge. We only have the floor and molding to finish. Our next project is our kitchen. My wife and I will only buy again from Kitchen World. Thank you Emily and Randal Sanders for a FIVE STAR PLUS awesome experience with our dream bathroom.
Writing review before the kitchen has been installed just for the planning and employee involvement during the pandemic. We have been working with Randal and since the very beginning he has been AMAZING! Completely INVESTED in our kitchen. Excited for us and could tell that he s been doing this for years and loves what he does! He designed our new kitchen, answered all my and my husbands questions, came to our home to verify the measurements. The big box store (Rhymes with woes) made us feel like another number, like they didn t care and was TWICE the amount just for the cabinets compared to the WHOLE kitchen including counters, sink, dishwasher, and faucet! And the product looked cheaper then Kitchen Worlds!!!!!Will update with pictures once they are installed :-)
The customer service we experienced at Kitchen World was appalling. We went in the first time and the front desk receptionist glanced up and didn't even offer a "hello". After wandering around no one approached us and we went up to reception and asked a couple questions. She was rude and indicated she didn't have answers to some of our questions "because designers make those decisions". We gave them one more chance and went in a second time. Again - no one helped us. We wandered around for 30 minutes and as it was getting close to closing we went up to reception and asked if we could quickly look at a kitchen. They looked annoyed and very put out and said it was 3pm and time to close. I got my phone out and saw that it was 2:55pm and we still had five minutes. Their response was the "fire department can let you out then". I will NEVER spend our money with these jokers.
From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted and made to feel we mattered. We met with john Paul and he listened to what we wanted and needed in our remodel. He put together a plan that would transform our kitchen into a beautiful space. Even the crew that did the construction were professional and friendly. They got the gob done! All of my past experiences at Kitchen World have been very positive. That is why it is easy to refer friends and family. Give them a chance to show you what they can do. They will not disappoint!!
Our Candlelight cabinets are absolutely beautiful! The salesperson however, is a different story. Thankfully the manager, Steve, made everything right. Five stars for Steve and Candlelight!
Nice cabinets, terrible communication. Our original "designer" chose cabinets for our kitchen with no regard for preservation of storage space - we actually lost so much storage we have to keep some of our dishes in the basement now. He didn't mention that he was downsizing our cabinets, and we didn't realize it until everything was installed! That "designer" left halfway through our project, and we were assigned another one who routinely took over a week to respond to messages.
It's been three years since Kitchen World installed our new kitchen. It looks as great today as it did then! Great experience all around. Highly recommend for quality materials and workmanship.

We started our kitchen remodeling project this past summer. Looked at the big box stores and then sat down with the Kitchen World staff. Service and respect was completely different compared to the orange or blue stores. Worked with Shawn throughout our project. From our initial visit, the kitchen measuring, selecting our cabinets, ordering, delivery, to the followup after the cabinets were installed, this individual was a pleasure to work with. The lines of communication were always open regarding all phases of the remodelling. The professionalism and courtesy shown by Shawn and all the staff at Kitchen World is a credit to their business.
Awful service! My wife and I walked in and told them exactly what we were looking for and we were told that they quartz materials were in the back somewhere by the lady at the front desk and were left to ourselves to A. find the pieces and B. figure out what were looking at exactly. We tried to see if we could get anyone to help us but nope..not going to be going back there anytime soon! Ended up going with Empire Granite and Marble and couldn't be happier!!! Excellent service, quality stone and quick turnaround to get our vanity tops installed!
We recently remodeled our kitchen. Everyone we dealt with at Kitchen World was friendly and informative. Will be going back to order an island and maybe more cabinets.
Working with one of Kitchen World's designers was so helpful to understand how we could best utilize our space when remodeling our kitchen. He offered many suggestions that we did carry through in our design and we are thrilled with the remodel and the added space it provided. The look and quality of the cabinets and quartz counter top we had installed is excellent and the cost was lower than our quotes from the big box stores (this surprised us!). Truly a no hassle experience from start to finish... service was excellent, delivery was on time, installation was seamless... and their showroom is amazing for exploring opportunities in design options. Kudos to you Kitchen World... we appreciate your professionalism and would recommend you to family and friends without hesitation. :)
