Great place for vacation with the whole family. The staff are wonderful and the customer service is awesome.

To say I HIGHLY recommend Bea ch rs Ocho rios is an inderstament. If you get the opportunity to be completely spoiled, relax and have the BEST time of your life THIS is THE PLACE. From the moment you exit the complimentary shuttle from the airport you are greeted with the BEST STAFF EVER! The gentlemen that unload your bags, the front desk staff, the housekeepers the pool team. And the FOOD...MERCY...THE FOOD..delicious...food all day. Ice-cream machines sitting out at for kids to just ask for a cone and go! The adult drinks!! YES! YES! YES! Greeted with ice cold champagne (if that's your thing ) Mimosas at breakfast or all day! I'LL BE BACK. THANK YOU BEACHES OCOS RIOS!

Weather wasn't the greatest and snorkeling off the beach was not good. Service was fantastic and food was very good. Snorkeling on the daily boat trips was great and Sheldon, Rolando, Romane and the others made it awesome by showing us where and how to find octopi, puffer fish, lobsters, rays and all sorts of other fish. My youngest daughter loved the entertainment. Even the wait staff at the restaurants were fantastic at entertainment.

It was a great escape from my everyday hustle and bustle in the city. A great place for families, everyone was so kind and polite. Everything was always cleaned the staff was very attentive. The food was amazing.

Wonderful Warm Caring people work here to make this a safe fun place to vacation. The resort has a bit of wear n tear when you look around. The food overall was good and the service here is above many other places we have been. The folks here look out for ways to make your stay perfect. A Sashane was wonderful and took excellent care of us.

I had a blast. I was there for 6 days. ALL the staff were very pleasant. Food options were great. Only downfall there are few smoking designated areas

Loved it! Kids camp is a dream for parents to get some quality time the rooms are great and kid friendly. The hotel does a good job of providing entertainment and activities for kids. The staff is all friendly and accommodating. The beach has sand toys for kids and plenty of towels.

Things I would like to see change: make the smaller private beach adults only so we can get some kids free time. Clean up outside the ocean view rooms more often as dishes sit outside and attract wasps. Clean beach ASAP after a storm. There was tons of trash that washed up and the staff just sat around talking vs raking it up. Kids were building sand castles while literally sitting in trash.

The service was outstanding!! We got a cabana for only two days and we had to go back to get a cabana for a third day because they make sure you are ok and if you need anything they will get it for you! They take really good care of the cats! They also take amazing care of the people staying in the hotel! I don t think I can say anything was poor about this hotel!!

The staff was very very helpful and did everything possible to go out there way to accommodate us. One of the best hotel ive been in service wise. Special thanks to ewart and andre from food service and also michelle in human resources. They went out there way to treat my family and i with the best service.

The rooms are facing the beach, giving you a great ocean view. They have a summer camp for ages 2-10. One of there many great attractions is the glass bottom boat where they take you out on a ship and you can see the fish through the bottom of the boat. Great resort/hotel. Would definitely go again.

Everything was great! The staff was always extra friendly, delicious food, yummy cocktails, gorgeous sunsets, beautiful aqua water to swim, relaxing spa massages, we were so happy we pre- booked for next year 2020!!!!

This is a very beautiful resort for the entire family by Sandals didn't actually booked reservations but from the looks of it and the reception I got from the staff I would recommend this place to just about anyone.

Terrible my family and friends went to that hotel staff are suck up and no buffet front desk is slow

My first trip to a Beaches resort! I was pleasantly surprised! The people were awesome! I had one of the best Hot Stone massages in my life! The pop up restaurant had some of the best food I've yet to eat in Jamaica!
It was tricky getting a lounger near the pool and it seems like they could use one more pool and restaurant. The beach was a great alternative! The water was warm and clear!
I would recommend this resort to families for sure!

Really nice hotel , but I spent the day there recently on a day pass and had an experience that shook me upon leaving I took up a bottle of water that's that's complimentary while I was on my phone and noticed after I took it the young lady at the front desk promptly picked up everything as if to say my stay has expired and I'm not allowed anything else now while I enjoy mini vacation be a day pass or an weekend ,and can afford to travel I love to visit the resorts here at home I should not should be left feeling like a commoner . #BeachesOchoRios #mymoneymatterstoo

A beautiful resort we enjoyed breakfast there and planned our stay next year! We are looking forward to another Sandals experience! We love how all the food, drinks and activities are included.

My family of five had their first international vacation at Beaches Ocho Rios last week. Absolutely every part of our stay was fantastic .. beyond fantastic actually! We traveled as husband and wife with our three children ages 10, 11 and 11.

The accommodations: We stayed in a very comfortable suite with a sofa bed, roll-away and two double beds. The balcony was perfectly sized and there were great ocean views from our balcony as well! The bathroom was very nicely updated and we slept comfortably every night.
It was nicely cleaned every day and was a very cozy place to lay our heads each day.

The Food: The food at this resort is phenomenal and always available! We enjoyed absolutely any dish we could have imagined and our children had the opportunity to try new dishes which was such an amazing experience! Every meal, the children were presented with the daily specialty beverage, and our kids loved to fill up on specialty children's cocktails.

The Resort/Location: Perfect. At first, we were a bit concerned with the layout as the beach is smaller than some other beaches, but it was private and absolutely perfect. The moment you are on property you feel like you are in a whole new world - all to yourself. The placement of each activity was perfect and we felt right at home during our stay.

The Activities/Entertainment: These are available GALORE. There was so much to do every single day that I wish we could have stayed longer to do it all over and over again! The Carnival show was fantastic and a highlight of our evening entertainment. Again, the staff just makes everything wonderful and our kids thought Tom Cruise was just the best!

The Staff: This is where I could write a novel. The staff is INCREDIBLE: every. single. one. of. them. Our children made friends with many staff members. We were a bit conservative in regard to leaving our kids to play at the kids' club, water park and Xbox lounge but once we took the leap we realized there was nothing to be worried about! My husband and I had an incredible couples massage while our children played with the staff and made new friends from all over the world. The incredible service, entertainment, love and care that the staff at this property gives is superb. Our children wish the staff could have adopted them!

Outside Excursions: Plan to check with the excursion desk on-site for any additional island activities you may want to do! We hoped to catch a Sea Turtle Watching excursion (this only happens certain times through the year), but weren't able to fit it in our schedule. Instead, we chose to do the Reading Road Trip which is an incredible experience. We visited a local school where we played with school children and read books, practiced math and colored. It was so terrific. We also brought a backpack of school supplies which they were very thankful for!

Thank you Beaches Ocho Rios for giving our family the vacation of a lifetime. I'm sure we will see you very soon, as our children refuse to go anywhere else but back home!

We had a great experience in our trip to Beaches Ocho Rios staff was not quite as friendly as Sandals south coast. But it was still pretty good. The Aqua Centrr staff though was exceptional we had our 11 year old daughter certified to dive the instructor Claude Bynum could not have been any better. He was very thorough and patien6he made her feel safe and confident. My husband and I also decided to get a higher certification we got the advanced open water certification and he was just exceptional. Diring our daughters first dive she started to get nervous and have second thoughts and another one of the resort divers Randy Lindo was able to guide her through the process and ease her anxiety he was very kind made her feel safe. Randy was also exceptional cant wait to come back when he is a fully certified dive master so he can take us out on a dive. Our experience was great with Claude, Randy, and Oshane. Comming back specifically to get our rescue diver cert from these guys.

Best place on the road to get real Jamaican Jerk chicken/pork! Don t pass it up! Yum

Can't think of a better place to vacation. The people in Jamaica are amazing. Kids had a blast. The scuba dive masters are awesome

Great place to share beautiful memories with your family.

A great family vacation destination even if you have teenagers and young adults! Beaches Ocho Rios is a beautiful resort with plenty to do and/or to just relax. Our room was fantastic with a beach front view and the concierge service was friendly and helpful. There is a good variety of food choices, so even a picky teenager can find acceptable food at any time.

The highlight of our trip was taking advantage of the Aqua Center and their staff. Romario Knight, dive instructor, guided our family through the PADI Open Water certification. He was patient, knowledgeable, excited about what he was doing, and a superb instructor!! He listened to concerns and feedback of our dives, and in turn, was able to address fears and hesitations to make scuba diving an enjoyable and rewarding activity for everyone! Romario's service was the "icing on the cake" for us.

We have already booked our vacation for next year to Beaches and look forward to diving more with Romario!

We were not treated well, I was spoken to by staff in less than professional manner. We observed euro- descendants were treated kindly. We were a family of twelve, and each one of us had some negative interaction with staff. I left the place not wanting to ever return.

It is very family friendly, clean and food is great!

I had a wonderful experience @the resort from the beaches, food entertainment, service, and also my favorite was the beach wedding, was spectacular.

Great activities for the kids, special birthday celebration options, and the staff are incredibly nice and helpful.

This all-inclusive resort is the best! The Jamaican resort staff are the best, they are the friendliest, accommodating, courtesy, lovely people!! Loved the resort, the beaches incredible, the water park was great-the kids loved it. The glass bottom boat, snorkeling, sailing, banana boat ride, tennis, water aerobics, all these amenities were incredible. Evening shows awesome, sesame street characters-kids loved!

Stayed at Sandals in St Lucia two years ago and it was amazing, so staying at Beaches, now that we have a baby, was a little but of a downgrade. The rooms are very dated and need some upkeep and the beach was full of rocks in the sand (not sure that's something they can fix though). The staff and food were great and we really enjoyed the beach front banquette! And our baby LOVED the Sesame Street theme and characters and the infant nanny service!

Staff are always amazingly helpful & at your service for whatever you need.

It was a relaxing with an attentive staff. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

My experience was great the place is awesome, the service spectacular . The staff are all great.

Rooms are nice and renovated, but that's the only good part really. Beach is tiny and not very nice. Pools are packed. If you want off-hours food you better get used to the one BBQ grill place. Overall, this would be 4-stars at $300/nt, but only half as much for $600/nt. Housekeeping apparently "threw out" my $100 electric toothbrush I left behind.

Luckily I was there with a bunch of family so we had a great time despite the property itself.

I have never stayed at a resort nicer than this on. Never waited more than a few minutes for bar service. Housekeeping checked the room twice a day.

Wow! From check in with Natasha, Shelly and crew on Concierge level, smiling Kobie, Cabrina, welcoming Jhavon and Claude at Venetian and the friendly Paul and Paul at the swim up bar. What an experience! Food is very good. Kids friendly items at every location. Kids (12 and 14)had lots to do including swimming, waterslides, arts and crafts with "Auntie Pat" (extra $$) and xbox lounge.. Drive to resort is 2 hours ( )from Montego Bay. But from the moment you step off of bus the people are very attentive.

We love sandals and beaches resorts! The people at these resorts are amazing! Everything is all inclusive at these resorts which makes them even better, endless food, drinks, water play, entertainment, etc...! The resorts are beautiful and always clean! The people are always helpful and kind! Everyone should try staying at Beaches and Sandals! Jamaica is an amazing and beautiful place!

The employee work so well and its wonderful place to raise your kids and to live lol

This is a nice resort if you like screaming kids all day and night especially in the restaurants. Our best day was our retie the knot ceremony and the catamaran ride. Audie the wedding planner did a great job taking care of all the details. Concierge staff was great also! We had a hard time trying to get the Aqua center guys to give us the SCUBA refresher course. The red flag stayed up most of our visit. The water activities were limited when they would put the yellow flag up. The staff was super nice and they would all go out of their way to help you out!! The hotel needs two elevators in the main lobby and on the beach. Also they need one at the Bayside restaurant to transverse the levels for wheel chair people. There was a lot of maintenance that needed to be done. One of worse things was the over population of cats all over the hotel and the smell of cat spray. It is not good when all of your family is allergic to cats!

The Sesame Street Characters in Jamaica can really move.

Compared to some of their other resorts this place is definitely on the lower end of the spectrum. To be fair, the lower quality is priced in, but it's hard to compare it to some of the other places once you've stayed there. The beaches are quite small. The property itself is on the small side. The choices of restaurants are somewhat limited. We experienced long wait times to be seated for dinner on several occasions. One of the more annoying things is how they try to upsell you on everything from kids lunch with sesame Street characters as well as off-site excursions. And something as simple as them organizing a taxi for you becomes an absolute hassle, that is of course unless you want to use their tour guides which charge twice the rate that a regular taxi might otherwise charge. One last thing to note is that the place is 2 hours away from the nearest airport.

Our family had the best time. This was our first time at Beaches. My husband and I have stayed at 7 different Sandals. We wanted to treat our son and daughter in law and our 2 children to the Sandals experience. We were not disappointed. The staff was outstanding from welcoming us, to making sure our stay was going well. I was happy to see Ashley , we met her at Whitehouse. She added so much to the great entertainment at Whitehouse and Now at Ocho. The food was great, very happy with the choices for a 3 year old and 7 year old. . The resort itself was clean, well kept. I like how it had ramps that made it so easy to get around. We had stayed at Sandals Ocho Rio Grand now Ochi and it was so broken up and very hard to get to the main pool and beach. I would like to shout out about Mia from the Loyality she made our stay wonderful. She was so friendly , kind, respectful, and she knows her job. Our Grandson just loved her. Other people who did a great job Sasha and Lennox from Loyality. Brianna working in the Creepe shop was so friendly, always smiling and ready to be helpful. She does a great job. Raymond who worked in the Pizza area day time and Neptunes was more then outstanding. He was never without a smile, couldn't have been more helpful both places. We had a photo session and a huge shout out to Akeen our photo guy. It wasn't easy with a active 3 year old but he did a great job. I would go back to Beaches Ocho Rios again. It is a wonderful resort for family and children

Great employees. Resort itself needs updating. Lots of things in disrepair. Beds are not very comfortable for a "luxury suite." The employees make this one a winner. Water slides are Awesome!!! Water sports are fun, kayaking and paddle board. The beach is very small though, so if you want to walk a beach go elsewhere. Rooms are okay, but I wouldn't call them luxury suites, as they are advertised. Front desk staff not as friendly or helpful as the rest of the staff. If you have older children Sesame Street can get annoying really quick. There are two short Sesame Street shows a day at the main pool. Best to find something else to do during those shows if you don't have small children. Resort makes employees try and sell wine by walking around and trying to sell around the main pool. They should setup a shop or booth, NOT have people come and harass you while you are trying to relax. We felt bad for those employees and would often times just talk to them after they had made their rounds and NO ONE was buying. Mark with the bar staff, Great guy and will take care of you. Kevin G. in the Bayside Restaurant is a wonderful guy and will take care of you. Just really good people. BBQ meat lovers pizza is awesome at the BBQ place when they have it. Most of the food is average, much better at Sandal's, which is funny since they are the same company. If you are not in the Greek Village be prepared to walk. We averaged about 4 miles a day just walking around the resort. Our room was in the back of the resort. There is probably a 30% change we would return, but it would be for the employees, NOT because the resort is that great.
