Even with timed tickets the queues were mostly too long for a 5 year old.
I felt too much time was wasted with talks when all the children want is to do the activity. E .g. the paramedic experience had at least 10 mins talk when they just wanted to go in the ambulance! Also, on the leaflet a patient trolley is shown but this was not used.
In the smoothie making experience, friends had told us you get a carton of Innocent smoothie at the end but all our kids got was a tiny shot glass of it.
The leftover toy money at the end could be spent in a shop but this is such a rip-off. All our kids could afford with their combined money was a single magnetic plastic letter. Not a pack, one letter!
Loud music blares out the whole time.
The idea for kidzania is good but not well enough organized.
There are cafe's around, again rip-off prices.
One good thing is the electronic wristband that children & adults wear so that kids are tracked in case they get lost.

What a day! We visited today, Wed 24th October, a group of three adults and 7 children. We paid full price for our tickets through the website plus travel costs from South East London.
On arrival, everything seemed to be quite smooth however on check in the lady on the desk seemed to be having issues with her computer system and we had to check in three times as our ticket information apparently was being cleared from the screen?
Once checked in we made our way in with 7 very excited children.
Unfortunately, our experience of Kidzania has been extremely negative. Within a 4 hour period, the children were only able to get involved in 3 - 4 activities. Possibility of an over subscription due to it being half term? Staff seemed to be disheartened and fed up and cleanliness levels with regards to bathrooms and eating areas was most definitely questionable.
The youngest of our group, a 5 year old, was knocked to the floor and his Kidzania money taken from him. Despite reporting the incident, no resolution was offered.
When leaving Kidzania, our wrist bands were removed in a very aggressive manner.
I would appreciate some communication from Kidzania to discuss resolutions and consequently a positive return visit or refund?

This was an OK whole family day out. We would rate it 5* for the educational benefits, however as advertised early years provision was below the standard we were expecting 3* was the rating given. Our children managed around 8 activities each, but we mostly didn't go for longer activities & those that cost kidzos. I would go back with our older two, once our son is over 4 but my husband isn't keen & we wouldn't take our baby.

A wonderful experience for my daughter, who couldn't wait to try her hand at 'adult life' and would happily have spent hours longer playing at work. The organisation of the place is incredible, and the breadth of experiences is surprising. Some younger children will not be able to access all the 'jobs', but there are plenty of options for kids of all ages.

We went on Friday (of half term) and booked a 4pm slot (strongly recommended) which was far less busy. By 6pm it was VERY quiet and so my son aged 7 got through a whopping SEVEN activities! He had a fantastic time!!

I've given it a 4* because the activities were really good and there was something there for all ages. I was there with my son and his family. My granddaughters were 7 and 9. The down side - and I think this needs addressing - was that at the end of the 4 hours, they could go into the 'department store' and spend the kidzo's they had earned in their time there. The problem here is that there was nothing the 9 year old could get as everything was way more than she had and the 7 year old could only get a cheap pair of pink hairclips that we could have got in the pound shop. The majority of children, especially the younger ones, were all coming out crying as they couldn't buy anything with their earnings. It was a disappointing end to what had been a good day.

A fantastic experience for children however it was a shame the day was let down by the very poor choice of rewards which they could exchange their earnings for. Quite frankly you get better rewards at a seaside amusement arcade!
I don't think we will be able to persuade our children to go back!

My 4 & 5 year old grandchildren had the most amazing afternoon at Kidzania! My daughter and I quite enjoyed watching them participate in the activities they chose. There are many careers for children to try out. There is a supermarket where the kids can be either a shopper or a worker...our kidlets loved being shoppers. My grandson also chose to be a police officer and got to do crowd control at the mock fire. My granddaughter was a special care nurse and got to take care of the babies. This is an absolutely brilliant setup and I'd love to see it here in Australia.

We came to Kidzania with my son and his cousin who are both 8. We bought tickets just for the kids as I dont think it's right to charge parents to watch their kid run around living their best life but not have the opportunity to get involved.
So we left them for the full 4 hours and came back at pick up time.
They only allow 1 parent to go in and find the children to pick them up if you don't have a ticket so I waited outside (for what felt like forever).
I was expecting that I might get to view a professional photo of at least one of the activities. But when my friend asked to be able to show me which ones were available she was told that wasn't permitted. She asked to take pics of the pics to send me so I could choose. Also not permitted. So I have no memory of the day at all. In my opinion you should be able to purchase the pics from the shop outside. You can't because they delete the picture files as soon as you leave the city.
We came home with about 65 kidzos because after a hard 4 hours graft it turned out there was nothing worth buying from the shop so they left a bit deflated.
Overall the kids seemed to enjoy the experience and had fun. But being 8 they gave very little detail on what they actually got up to (a bit like the question of... What did you do at school today? And u get that blank look or "I can't remember") maybe tgere should be an app which gives a recap of the day or something.
Once we left we discovered there was no opportunity for the kids to get a drink or snack. Because the shops require real money and not kidzo's. It would have been helpful to know this so we could leave the children with money. Or even better allow the children to buy a drink with kidzo's.
I'm left with mixed feelings on kidzania. Kids will have a good time but improvements need to be made to make you feel like you got value for money. Alot of the issues could be eliminated by just letting parents chaperone at no cost. Over 4 hours we would spend money in the lounge but at least we would be on hand to purchase drinks and snacks. And also see what the kids are doing and purchase memories along the way.

The place is designed like other Kidzanias in Seoul and Bangkok. However, the management is different.
For this one, no printed floor plan /map of the city is provided. The are 2 floors, but has one one electronic display board (to show map) on each floor. Moreover, the design of activities seems not as interesting as the other 2 as well.
I prefer the one in Seoul, with very clean time slot displayed outside each shop, or the one in Bangkok, with very flexible time slot because they give out clear instructions to kids and send them out to work independently.
What I concern most is the cleanliness of the washroom. I do think the management need to do something to improve this urgently.

Hectic, with long waiting times for every activity. Not for younger children at all. Smug staff always pointing out small print to you instead of engaging and trying to understand that waiting for 40min only to enjoy a 15min activity can be a problem. Staff quick to call security and the whole place is basically one big rip-off. "Customer services" are awful and have prepared answer for everything. Not to mention that there are 'priority' individuals getting ahead of normal customers. Appalling way to treat people. Overpriced and not worth it.

We left unhappy after 30 min, and we were told that the money is not refunded. There a plenty of places where you can enjoy more even wildlife is better, and all London museum.

Definitely a fun place to visit. We brought our 5 and 6 year olds here and they had a blast - especially getting a chance to play firefighter, EMT, vet, surgeon, and more. A great place to encourage imagination and provide kid-sized education. A bit pricey and parking a pain, but worth the experience nonetheless. Thanks for a great time!

Fun day for the kids to learn about different types of professions and get paid (in kidzos) for it. There is a Parent's lounge if your kids are old enough to wander off on their own else you'll have to go along. It is a bit on the expensive side but we'll worth it and highly recommended.

Visited with our 3 & 4 year old girls while on holiday from Australia. Most activities were not suitable and might be better for 6-10 perhaps. Eventually found the kindegarten and residence areas, which they really enjoyed. Given the price though, was very disappointed and it needed more self-driven activities/areas rather than highly controlled, staff driven.

At this day and age where kids hardly get to go out and use their imagination to play, this place gives them that opportunity.
I took my son, daughter and their cousins for my daughter birthday. The place is wonderful, clean, tidy and the staff are friendly and helpful. I purposely chose to go on a peak time hoping because of the price hike there will be less people and I was right.
Before you book your tickets remember to do a Google search on KidZania offers. There is always somebody doing some kind of offers and you might get a good price going through third-party.
Although the children enjoyed their day (this is t...
Although the children enjoyed their day (this is their 4th visit) we will probably not be coming again. There are a few reasons:
For some reason the adults room has been closed? This was always well used mainly because it was a nice space with a cafe/bar in a great location overlooking the Main Street. It has been replaced with a smal unappealing area with no cafe/bar in a poor location. I'm guessing you have noticed that adults are no longer using it?
Empty units, downstairs between hospital and fire station? Ice cream replaced by window cleaning which for some reason has just closed at 3:15 is this due to the obvious staff shortages?
I always get my children a lunch package, however when my 8 year old tried to explain she was allowed 4 items she was give two? I had to go and explain to the sales assistant. She apologised and explained she had not been trained on what was allowed or what the packages were? I could see no obvious notices to help her.
Finally, I would imagined that you are constantly looking to freshen up the activaties (to keep regular visitors returning) especially in busy school holiday periods? There used to be street entertainment (dancing, hoola hooping) this keept children engaged in busy periods? This all seems to have stopped? Is this due to staff shortages or viability? It feels like things are starting to slip and are on the way down?

Kids loved and we would take them again. Most of the staff were friendly and enthusiastic but there were somecthat clearly didn t want to be there and it showed and made a difference to that activity. The window cleaning lady that was on Wednesday 1st August in the afternoon was particularly grumpy and very unwelcoming. I had to bite my tongue not to say anything. Most of them were very good though, just a couple that were a let down. Don t let this put you off though as it is a fab place and kids will love it. There are plenty of activities you can do to avoid the grumpy ones as not enough time to do them all in one go anyway. 1 star deducted for the grumpy window cleaning lady!

The worst day out we ever had with our children. The first two hours consisted of queuing - to collect tickets, to "check in", to get to an activity. We managed to get the children to one activity that consisted mostly of someone lecturing them about juice while they stood up and listened. We bailed out after that and went to buy the children ice cream to save the rest of the day, having left exhausted and poorer.

Having been here before - it's really gone downhill. Lots of the shops are closed. It's like kidzania is in a recession ! We were there on a Sunday when the place was rammed and core rides like the tour bus just didn't run. (Apparently it's been broken for a week! )
They don't appear to be maintaining the shops that are open. In the young children's water aid area the tap was broken, and the padding round the sink coming off. The toy toilet seat glue had worn off was opening and saw at least two kids hurt their fingers.
For the high price of the ticket they could at least maintain the place.
Sadly, that's not all..
The central square was cordonned off for 3 hours unused for a kids party with loads of tables and chairs left unused inside it. This meant they didn't have enough seats for those people who did want to eat with their children. Can they not invest in enough seats for people to sit and eat with their kids ? It seems they just have stopped caring about their customers and ensuring they have a good time!
I don't think I would go again with the kids as there are much better things to spend the high ticket price money on.
Overpriced for adults.
Overpriced for adults.
No map or flyer.
No information given by staff on how to get best experience from visit and what they provide, ie passports,
Shop at end was disappointing as we were informed it is usual to only do 4-6 activities so at 8 kiddo a time would only have around 100 kidso to spend in shop. The only item kids could buy was small ball. Kids very disappointed after big expectations.
Not enough seating for adults, only seats for kids to queue so adults had to stand and run around after children.
Would have been nice for adults to also take part in activities with kids but we were "shut out" - standing around outside each room.

I d have given 3 or 4 stars for the last few times because the kids LOvE the experiences and they re genuinely fun and educational, which means the endless queues, worse-than-school-dinner-cold-fried-food, bored staff and eye watering corporate branding EVERYWHERE is just about tolerable, but the last two times the balance is out of kilter, and it s like an outer ring of high-street hell in miniature, with seemingly less bovered staff, more empty units, and a gloominess that means 4 daylight-less hours pretending to be Cleaner s and Supermarket checkout staff leaves you feeling your children s imagination might be better served by their imagination. A lite more than a revamp needed. Never again, until I hear they ve reinvested or redesigned.

On phone booking , I spoke to customer assistant Robyn, and she was very helpful and professional. Personally I think , she gives service above and beyond the call of duty. At the centre, I decided to purchase 2 tickets for the adults and the gentleman that serves us was very helpful too. The centre I find very expensive with food and drinks as you would expect after spending so much money to get in, the food would be at least affordable for parents to get for their children.

Left feeling less than impressed. Long queues from the min you arrive. What s the point of giving time slots when there isn t enough staff to manage the volume of kids. Given that 99% of those have pre booked - I m guessing that somewhere the staffing levels were just not accurately deployed. In 4 hours my 8yr only had enough time for 3 actives - hours wait for a burger and chips ( again one lady taking orders and one person cooking). Seriously look at either alternatives ie legoland ( at least you are in fresh air). The upside of the day was the awesome parking with the Westfield Parking App.

Not the cheapest of activities on a rainy day for the kids but it will definitely keep them occupied and engaged. Lots of work experience to try from airline pilot to security guard. Queues can be long for the most popular activities, and for some it can feel a little overwhelming at first as it s quite a noisy and busy environment. Definitely more suitable towards primary age children (4-11 years), accessed through Westfield shopping centre.

My daughter came to Kidzania 5 time, first three time was great, but last 2 time was very disappointed. The last one I remember was when she go to the juice factory, she started from put her hat on and that uniform to run and listen to 2 minute of talking after gave her some packet of the Juice to share with others,
And finished take some money and go.
She go in there to learn about how to make smoothly juice is not about going there for the money.
I don't think we will go there ever again
The place is getting worse and no more Map for the everyone.

I have went to this place for a school trip on the 4th of April 2019 as a Lister Community School super learning day and so far it was lovely! Came by the Central Line from Plaistow Station to Sheperd's Bush Station Underground.
I love the design of the Kidzania Town!
Especially the Kidzania buildings, seating areas, lampposts, trees, etc which makes it look like a kids town!
However, I've seen many other people complaining about long queues to activities etc but however it was not bad for me (probably because it was a school trip), took about 5-10 minutes to enter areas and activities. Lovely trip for Super Learning Day! Even have a shell petrol station and a science lab activity! After that was the best bit! So we went to the Nintendo Labo activity, there were queues as people mention but as said it's not bad (takes 5-10 minutes) and then we went in and inside were Nintendo Switches! I've never got to try the Nintendo switch before in my life so this is probably the first time using the Nintendo switch! I used it for some cardboard activity (you can come and see it for yourself/yourselves (if there is a cardboard activity)! I needed help on some bits of the cardboard activity but a lovely staff member helped me! And also we put the joycons on the cardboard to make the cardboard car move! We also explored around the place as well! Also there is a bit with Urdu writing! Overall we had a lovely trip and I miss it now! Thanks Kidzania!
Edit: For those who complain about no much things to buy with Kidzos, please add more stuff to the shops! Thank you!

Hi
Hi
Our childs school went to kidzania today and they let 6 & 7 year olds wait until 1.30-past 2pm to eat their lunch. All bags were taken off children on entry including water bottles and they were given an allocated lunch time slot of 1.30pm. Bags were lost and some children in my son's class did not get food until nearly 2. These are young children with small tummies who cant go from 7/8am-2pm after a long journey on public transport without food or water.
The concept is amazing, but the lines are too long and the lack of consideration for childrens basic needs is unacceptable.
Please rethink your model or shut down.

This was my 4th visit to KidZania. My children enjoyed the play but couldn't spend their KidZania money. The gift shop was empty with nothing to buy apart from alphabet magnets and plastic crowns. They also have another gift shop where you can pay with your sterlings full of toys. I won't be coming or recommending KidZania to anyone. I have spend on train tickets from Reading to London and the entrance fee and my children couldn't buy anything. Awful!

This is an amazing place. Really encourages independence and great for confidence building. My tips would be as follows: -
1 - Yes it's not cheap. I recommend booking through the Picniq website as they do some really good deals. Just remember to exchange the paper print outs for your tickets at the kiosk on arrival before queuing up to get in.
2 - Food is expensive in there so make sure your kids are well fed before you go in. I underestimated how much energy they'd use in there and we spent valuable fun time eating.
3 - They'll have their own money so remember to take a little wallet or bag for them, ideally something like a cross body bag so they can keep it with them as this makes them truly independent.
4 - It gets VERY busy and at peak times means the kids will get to go on very little. Go early, preferably when it first opens and you'll have a good 2 and a half hours where queue's are a lot smaller.
