Love this place. Great fun and good value with an annual pass. A full day out. One star deducted as entry system is chaotic. Not clear where to queue for what - needs clear signage and instructions on booking email.

First the bad points.Shocking that adults have to pay to get in. Queueing system needs work, some were great, kids go in. Next ones in the queue get a lanyard so they know they're next. Very poor selection in the shop where you can spend your kidzo cash. Thankfully the news and radio experience were ok. Not recommended for children over 10, it's not really the target audience in my opinion.

Read some of the reviews prior to booking but decided to see for myself and take my 4 year old for a day out. Luckily, in Bedfordshire, half term is the week before everywhere else so took the chance to go when it wasn't going to be too busy. This worked out a treat as she managed to visit most of the sections she wanted to do during our 4 hour window.
As some have stated, it does get very busy here so personally I wouldn't consider coming during school holidays as I think it sets the kids up for disappointment when they can't do what they would like. The 4 hour slots fly by!
One reviewer commented that her child came back with nits from the hat's the kids wear, they now give each child hair nets to avoid this.
The kids love this place and get enjoyment and learning opportunities from the experience and would love to take mine again one day. But only on an off peak day!

Waste of money!! They charge nearly same high prices for adults and kids under 4 but there's nothing for them to do. We went with group of 8, and on bank holiday, long queues and long waiting for activities and kids were tired waiting and ultimately the activities does not seems worth waiting for that long. Cash earned by kids can hardly buy anything from cash counters which can amuse them. Children activity book for 60, you get these for free from McDonald and Pizza hut!! Overall my kids did not want to go there again so am I.

A perfect place for families with young kids. The kiddies run around organized activities learning to be fire fighters nurse police man postal workers bankers and many more. These activities are 10, 20 min so parents can relax and know kids are safe. There is a bracelet you scan in with everything so you can find them if lost. It's a closed place with plenty of staff and it feels secure. Great education and fun for kids and good food inside. This place should get six stars

Visited KidZania today after planning a mini city trip with kids.
Having seen the website, loved the idea of this and all the pictures and thought this is perfect and different to the usual play centre type places. Definitely high on the to do list whilst in London.

Unfortunately the let down happened from the moment we arrived.
Unwelcoming, friendly or in fact interested staff.

Qued to enitally even get in, then qued again to get tickets checked and fake money given out.

Wasn't quite what it had the promise it could be or that we had hoped for....

Not suitable for indoor eating whatsoever. COVID-19 will eventually make this matter even worse! Lack of space in most part of the building for children to move with the freedom you would expect. Yearly subscription fee does not match the quality experience.

If your 10+ then don't even bother spending your money. Its absolute chaos, you have to wait so long in the cue just to climb through a fake air vent. Workers are so miserable and don't even care about the children. At the WWE academy, the worker was so moody. Is it the fact that there are no adults because, kidzania you need to fix this. The bus that gives you a tour wasn t even in operation and thats one of the fun things. You earn such little money and thats an issue. At the bank there was a large cue and there was only two colleagues working and they didn't even care that you had such a big croud waiting for you in-front of you!!! Some people waited 2 HOURS just to get a card, and yes i said 2 hours im not joking i checked the time. SPEED YOUR PROCESS. And I've seen what you do with your reply s , you copy and paste them, and its very obvious. Do you even care that your colleagues are so grumpy, moody and miserable, and do you even care that your ruining peoples days, not any people, your ruining kids s days. Your working somewhere where kids come to have fun, not to die of boredom. And if this reply gets copy and pasted I'm going to email the manager. Fix this, NOW!!

Not enough for early years - 3.5 years not allowed to participate to riskless all activities allowed to 4year old. Main attractions such as climbing closed, staff absent from attractions, in the end a lot of waiting and wandering. Grown up all carrying their clouds and the kids one... Could be a much better experience if more intelligence and attention to family needs was there.

Fun day out for kids. My daughter Lola is 5 and spent the day trying out various roles. Quite tedious for adults as there's limited seating available. Quite a busy Saturday afternoon, waiting time for activities varied from 0 minutes to 25 minutes.

Be aware that tickets cannot be refunded at all, so if you can't make it or booked the wrong date, you'll need to pay a GBP15 rebooking charge, on top of already expensive tickets. I found the telephone service very hard to reach and not particularly friendly or helpful. The whole experience dealing with Kidzania has been unpleasant and unfriendly!

Great "adult pretend" fun for the kids!
They can gets jobs such as fire-people, clothes shop worker, courier, ICU childcare, police-people, and all manner of other jobs. Some they pay (with Kidszania money) to do, others pay them. At the end of the four hours they can spend whatever money they have in the shop.

The kids (7 & 4) loved it.

VERY UNDERSTAFFED- 15 MINS TO JUST GET TO THE DESK TO CHECK IN
VERY DISORGAINISED
VERY EXPENSIVE
IF TAKING MORE THAN TWO CHILDREN HONESTLY DON'T BOTHER AS THEY ALL CANT DO THE ACTIVITIES TOGETHER AND THE WAIT TIME FOR EACH ONE IS ABOUT TWENTY MINUTES.
ALSO GIRLS SHOULD WEAR TROUSERS TO DO THE WALL CLIMBING AS OTHERWISE EVEN WITH THICK TIGHTS THEY REFUSE

I was weary to try this place at first as my friend had taken her daughter there a little while ago, and unfortunately her daughter contracted nits from one of the helmets they use in the role play. However I decided to give it a go and was happy when I saw they are using hairnets.

I'm only giving this 2 stars because my kids absolutely loved it, but I have mixed feelings about this place. I'm not overly keen on some of the staff. I feel like if you're going to be working with children then you need to maintain a cheery disposition no matter what. Some of these staff members looked so depressed and gloomy, it's rather off putting. There's a lot of disorganisation, I think they need to change the system and maybe give people time slots instead of people coming at the same time and having to wait ages in queues for each section.

I'm annoyed with the red headed girl today who was working at the supermarket section. We were waiting ages, she moved my daughter to the shoppers bench and took 3 other kids in, which meant my 3 had to wait 10 minutes to get in. When I asked why she did that, she gave me some stupid reason. That really annoyed me.

There really isn't much to do for under 4's so I don't recommend you bring small children there. My poor daughter barely got to do anything even though we were told there were several things for under 4's to do. Luckily some members of staff were nice enough to let her participate in the recycling section and the dentists.

Not happy either that for some of the activities there's an extra cost after you've already paid an entrance fee.

So overall this is a fantastic idea for kids as they all love it, but a few things need adjusting in order to maintain a smooth run. More activities for under 4's please!!!!!

Pros

Pros
Some mildly interesting things for kids to see and do. Such as the Pilot training and tv channel participation.
Kids learn value by earning and paying for items with play money, some of ehich you get on entry.
Cons
Adults paying for babysitting their child as there is little to no supervision by staff.
Lots of product placement eg Missions wrap factory. Cadbury chocolate factory. Essentially its free advertising for them.
Staff at the ticket office at the Westfield London completely inept and unable to handle the simplest of questions.

I've been to Kidzania in Portugal twice and it was lovely. But I got very disappointed with the one in London Westfield.

1 - It is a lot smaller, but that was not the problem. They give you a entry time when you book, and if you miss your slot they start discounting the time.

2 - They only allow you 4 hours, that doesn't allow much time for the children to play, given the fact that on average you wait around 15 minutes per activity.

3 - The price per adult is ridiculous, given the fact that there is not much for the adults to do

It's a one off.

Absolute genius - why didn't this place exist in the 80s. Kids loved it - wife and I loved it more. Well worth the visit. It's an unknown place to all our friends so the children were the envy of everyone on the school playground on the 1st day back with their summer holiday bragging rights. We'll definitely be back. Must book ahead to avoid disappointment.

I would define it as the perfect place to promote consumerism. The children are surrounded by commercial brands, fast food and very loud music. The activities seem all design for the children to follow instructions rather than for them think or create something for themselves. The best one I would say is the drumming workshop...but still the whole thing is a very busy place that apparently looks fun, but deeply inside is very poor in creativity and the last thing it matters is the quality of fun.
Another aspect that I didn t find very child friendly is that the children have to queue for, at least, fifteen minutes on each activity but there is any sign outside that informs you about the time they have to wait for the next turn...which makes difficult to keep them motivated or to decide if is worth it to wait.

Really good Concept but they let far too many people in. Expecting 5 & 4 years to wait more than 30 mins per activity is rediculous . Dont get me wrong , kids liked it but the whole experience would be much more enjoyable with less people in and a queing system similar to Legolands Q bot system where you pick your activity and are given an allotted time slot. Will deffo go again but in an off peak time of year .

It is supposed to be a place for family, but they are greedy and they are only after squeezing money out of families. To take in a 3 year old and a baby ,8 weeks old, they wanted to charge 3 tickets even if the mother was coming in only not to be split from the family and clearly would be seating down looking after the 8 weeks old baby.
I can understand charging for one parent who supervises the 3 year old, but for the breastfeeding mother.... ????? Just greed.... the manager said it is company policy to charge everyone no matter what....perhaps they should be looking at changing policy ....
I hope one day people are so fed up with this overcrowded , poor quality service, extremely expensive place and start boycotting it by staying away . Then management may learn their lesson...

Visited 14/8/19 with 3 boys 7,9 11. Website suggests activities suitable up to 14 years old. I would disagree. We had a booking for 12.30pm, told to arrive 15 mins earlier. We were still outside the building at 12. 50 pm. When we got to check in, another long queue was before us. The staff seemed under trained for the tasks they were given, seemed to be for ever going to check whatever, with the supervisor. Once we were finally in, we were surprised at the queues, only 5 children allowed in some of the activities at a time. The bank queue was huge, at times only one person trying to cope. Music was far too loud and unnecessary. I think more attention to detail is also needed, fire engine, ambulance didn't even have sirens, no police vehicle atall.
Overall experience fair, better for 6-8 year old.
We won't be returning.

It's a lovely place to take your kids over 4+ any child under, do not bother. They barely have anything for children under 4 so my daughter couldn't enjoy herself. New and reasonable price. As the time is limited, so queues are not long. 4 hour section can play about 8 role plays. ( basically, No queue for the last 30min as many left). Some role plays require to pay Kidzania dollars while others earn. Unused dollars can be used to exchange goods in department store in the end.

I just spent an evening hearing my wife complaining about this location. Points that I have learnt... Should only be for 7+ years kids (don't take younger kids), no map of the activities (so how do you know what to do in your allocated 4 hrs) , no parents allowed into activities (difficult with shy kids), way too many kids allowed in at each time slot (20 mins MINIMUM wait time per activity). Beware!

Kidzania is based inside the westfields shopping centre.

So it's like a mini city where children get the chance to explore lots of different jobs roles such as a fire fighter, police officer, midwife, vet, radio do and many more.

We spent almost 4 hours and only managed to do 5/6 different activities but this is depending on the age of the child. The older you are you get to access some things on your own.

Most of the activities are adult supervised and led by workers so the children can't just freely explore which I felt in some part spoilt it. Particularly when some of the workers seemed quite unenthused and showed little insight into how to adapt things for each child.

My 5yr old really enjoyed it..got tickets through wowcher as the cost is a bit pricey as you pay for adult entry too...although you don't get to part take in the activities with the children!

Definitely would NOT recommend for children under 3 yrs as there is a lot of queuing and little to actually engage them in for this age range.

Would go again but go early as can get very busy.

We had a bad experience here. My 5 year old was was doing an activity that finised earlier than the publicised 20 min. She was sent out by herself as the animators did not make sure that there was an adult there to pick her up. When I arrived at the end of the 20 min I found her scared and she started crying. The personnel is not paying attention to the younger kids. A 5 year old cannot be sent away like this.

Took my youngest here (who is 5) for the first time last weekend, although I have accompanied my clients children here lots of times. Kidzania is pretty much the only place of its kind, therefor they feel they can charge a premium to visit because there is nothing else like it, so you won t get much change from a hundred quid if you re a family. I wouldn t recommend taking children older than 10 here as it s definitely geared towards the younger ones. My daughter enjoyed the activities and got a kick out of earning money from them to spend in the shop afterwards, although you ll have to work them like dogs to get enough Kidzos to afford anything they actually want! The layout is good and it s easy to navigate, main areas are very clean and tidy, as are the bathroom facilities. The staff are a bit hit and miss unfortunately, with some that were very helpful and extremely good with the children, while others appeared bored and apathetic. I would recommend to the management team that staff should not be allowed their mobile phones while they are working as I caught several members who were so engrossed in their social media accounts that they weren t paying the slightest bit of attention to what they should be doing! (Young lady working in the coffee shop, I m looking at you). Also, the incessant photo taking by the Kidzania photographers will drive you wild, they interrupt the children s activities to take photos that you haven t even asked them to take, just to try and relieve you of more money on your way to the exit. This makes the waiting around for the activities to start, all the more annoying. All in all, as a one off novelty experience, it s ok, don t feel like we d need to go again any time soon though.

Very disappointed. Kids have to que every time the want to do any activities. As we went on half term, the minimum waiting time was 30 min, some over hour!! And you have only 4 hours. Even if we have some time left (after waiting in que ) my kids have to go out as not left enough time! Very stressful for parent. And do not think that your kid can go by them self. You should go to as they wont know what to do. Great idea but in bad way. Kids not ruled here but waiting, waiting, waiting... Then have 15 min activities (some May have fun at this time) then waiting, waiting.. Tip:It is better to give them lunch while they in que. For me it was waste of money. Not recommended to any one. And one more thing.. Toilets on one floor - 6 of 8 out of order! So que again!

Immediately after opening on Saturday, it is very vacant. Very different from Tokyo. The second floor is from 10:30. Chocolate Factory and British Airlines are popular.
