Took my youngest here (who is 5) for the first time last weekend, although I have accompanied my clients children here lots of times. Kidzania is pretty much the only place of its kind, therefor they feel they can charge a premium to visit because there is nothing else like it, so you won t get much change from a hundred quid if you re a family. I wouldn t recommend taking children older than 10 here as it s definitely geared towards the younger ones. My daughter enjoyed the activities and got a kick out of earning money from them to spend in the shop afterwards, although you ll have to work them like dogs to get enough Kidzos to afford anything they actually want! The layout is good and it s easy to navigate, main areas are very clean and tidy, as are the bathroom facilities. The staff are a bit hit and miss unfortunately, with some that were very helpful and extremely good with the children, while others appeared bored and apathetic. I would recommend to the management team that staff should not be allowed their mobile phones while they are working as I caught several members who were so engrossed in their social media accounts that they weren t paying the slightest bit of attention to what they should be doing! (Young lady working in the coffee shop, I m looking at you). Also, the incessant photo taking by the Kidzania photographers will drive you wild, they interrupt the children s activities to take photos that you haven t even asked them to take, just to try and relieve you of more money on your way to the exit. This makes the waiting around for the activities to start, all the more annoying. All in all, as a one off novelty experience, it s ok, don t feel like we d need to go again any time soon though.
