I went in and had a boudoir shoot done. I was so so nervous but the ladies there made it a truly exceptional experience. I felt comfortable, beautiful, empowered and sexy during my shoot. The women here are beyond wonderful and they make sure that you get what you want out of your photos plus more. I cant rate this place high enough! They are all wonder women!

Kent Smith Photography is amazing! The studio is beautiful, inside and out, from the lobby, to the gorgeous backdrops and scenery for photographs, to the dressing rooms. Amanda (the photographer) will make you feel beautiful and make your session fun, even if you're not all that comfortable taking pictures. She even helped me pick which accessories looked best with my outfits. I'm one of those people who rarely takes good pictures, and Amanda made sure my headshots turned out great! It was also a pleasure working with Sherri (Amanda's mom and the owner of the company) to choose my favorite shots. Sherri took her time and helped me choose the best looks, even when I was being indecisive. Everyone at Kent Smith was top notch--I had a great experience, and I highly recommend them!

Kent Smith Photography is absolutely amazing! Amanda and the staff do whatever is possible to make you feel at home and welcome. Sets are cordinated just for you! The whole shoot is a blast and the end result is phenomenal! Kent Smith is definitely the way to go for any sort of pictures you're looking for!

Well I won a free session through Facebook before the whole pandemic happened. I would not be giving them a one star but unfortunately with so many losing there jobs I asked to have my reservation refunded because of falling on hard times. Unfortunately I never got my refund which is why they are getting a one star for me. I have had no phone call or response to my refund. Very unprofessional and very inhumane to let someone go without especially when I was told I would by an employee. Don't think I'll ever go here for pictures

Amazing family pics! Staff is wonderful, such a great experience!

Where do I begin? I ran into Kent Smith Photography at a Bridal Show. I've always played around with the idea of a boudoir photo shoot and the deal they were offering from the show had me hooked. My session was at the same time as my good friends. Hair and makeup were fantastic. The photographer's were on point! They made us comforatable and this created AMAZING photos! Our review sessions were comfortable, laid back, and empowering! I'm so excited to get my noir collection back! I highly reccomend this experience for anyone who wants that boost of confidence that YOU are Beautiful!

Amanda was very friendly and helped me chose the right outfit. This was where the good ended. I was told at the appointment that I would have my image back in 7-10 days, it was 15 days before I got it back. When I got it back there was a huge glare on my head and my white dress shirt looked like it was glowing. It would literally hurt your eyes to look at the picture it was so bright. Now back to the session for a moment. At the end I had to select my image off the screen on the camera. The image looked great on there but it is a tiny screen. All the other images were deleted and therefore lost forever. So there is this one image that even the best person at photoshop probably could not fix. I called and emailed them back about it but have received no response, and it has been a week now. I just can't believe that this was the experience I had at Kent Smith. This is supposed to be one of the best studios in town they they could not even get a head shot right. Now I get to go pay someone else to get my head shot done. It is unbelievable.

I can't stress enough how much I love this place. From senior pictures with my daughters to pictures with Santa with my grandbaby. By far one of the most professional studios I have ever worked with. And the quality is more than exception. The staff is so easy to work with and always goes the extra mile. I couldn't imagine going any place else. Well done!

I am currently a 2018 model for Kent Smith. Senior pictures can be very expensive and time consuming. If you are interested in getting senior pictures done through Kent Smith I believe this model program is the way to go. Not only do you get your pictures done ahead of time so you are not rushing and trying to scramble money together for your pictures whenever you are a part of the modeling program you are part of a team. Also you get to have the chance to walk the fashion fest runway which was definitely my favorite part. Amanda is an amazing photographer and will always help you find the right outfit for the scene that is custom to you. Every image that I have received back were incredible and amazing looking. If you are looking for a place to do incredible high quality pictures for almost any occasion I would definitely recommend Kent Smith to you. The people are so easy to work with and will do almost anything to help you make your time with them last!!

I'm apart of the Kent Smith Model Program & I absolutely loved it! Regardless of being in the model program I guarantee you will have a wonderful time & feel so prioritized. Amanda is an amazing photographer and I've loved every image she has captured. I even had a photoshoot with my 3 really big dogs. They were running all over the place, total chaos. Yet, Amanda was able to get a bunch of beautiful pictures. No doubt a 5 star experience. Highly recommend :)

I won a noir photo shoot earlier this year and it was fantastic! The entire experience made me feel like I was on top of the world, one of the best days of my adult life. Unfortunately it goes downhill from there. I was told that as part of winning the Facebook promotion I won an 11x16 portrait and wallets - and that I could put the value of those items towards whatever I chose to purchase. That was not true. The wallets were a gift and there was no value to apply towards my order. The value of the portrait could only be applied to a package that included a portrait. Totally unfortunate because I will never hang a noir portrait on my wall. All I wanted was digital copies but I had to jump through SO MANY hoops to get them. (And order hundreds of dollars worth of product that won t hang on my wall.) Fast forward, Covid happens, prints are delayed, I can be understanding. They want to set up a pickup appointment (should only be 10 minutes I m told) but EVERY DAY I tell them would work for me they can t do it because they don t do pickups on Tuesday/Friday etc. If I m just picking it up why does it matter?! I live over an hour away and was trying to coordinate with other appointments in the area but they will not work with me. They offer to ship everything for a $15 fee. Ok I opt for that. They tell me to call in later with a credit card to pay for shipping. After MONTHS of phone tag I finally get ahold of someone to pay for my shipping and they tell me it s $20. They finally agree to honor my original quote of $15 shipping (why I even have to pay it this point beats me) and tell me text sometime and they will call to get my credit card number. So I text for someone to call. 5 hours later I get a text asking if now is still a good time for them to call for my CC #. Um no, it s been 5 hours! Since then I have continued to call, leave messages etc and have not had anyone return my calls. So unprofessional.

I've absolutely loved working with KSP! Not only do they make you feel like the star every time, they customize the sets to you! Amanda does a great job at helping with your outfits and making sure everything is perfect! The studio is unlike any other and the experience is one of a kind, I would definitely recommend Kent Smith Photography for any pictures!!

I am currently a 2018 senior model for Kent Smith and they have done a wonderful job capturing my personality in their studio. Pictures are going to be done by my senior year making it much less stressful for my family and I. I wouldn't recommend anyone else.. my expierence at Kent Smith has been incredible!

I won a black and white photo package on Facebook which is why I went. Let me tell you they went all out for me full makeup and hair and she was the best makeup artist I have ever had. Very welcoming and consistently asked what I would like although I gave her totally free reign. And the photo shoot was no difference she was very excellent and how she needed need to post to get the best shots. I took several outfits I recommend no more than four at most. My photographer didn't ask me to connect my phone to play the music I brought with me but that's a minor inconvenience. I truly do not think you will regret one moment getting your photographs done at the studio.

Kent Smith is the best photography studio I have ever worked with. Every single staff member helps make you feel right at home, comfortable, and are so genuine with you! Not only is the experience of getting photographed and working with their amazing staff wonderful, but your pictures will never fail to be absolutely perfect! Anyone would have a hard time finding something to complain about the Kent Smith staff, experience, or their pictures.

We had a wonderful experience working with Chloe and Jill. The photo session with Chloe was fun and relaxed! Jill was so helpful in showing us our photos. Both are knowledgeable and professional. I had their noir session and i absolutely loved every second being in Kent Smith. This was my first time ever having any kind of high end photography. My hair and nails were professionally done and the shoot itself was a memory i will NEVER forget. I saw my images for the first time and i am in AWH! i was and felt so beautiful for the first time in a long time. I had lost myself becoming a mom of two and a single mom of one for a few years and any mom im sure knows what i felt during those years! Had a wonderful experience at Kent Smith Photography! I was a lucky winner of a Noir Session on facebook, and from the first step everything has been awesome. When you arrive you're set up with a private dressing room, then off to hair and makeup. Their artist was so friendly and was great at her job! She had me looking gorgeous and was sure to ask for my input throughout, wanted to make sure that I loved the look and also still felt like myself.
My photographer was Chloe and she was so fun! She had a great positive attitude and was awesome at telling me exactly what I needed to do and how to pose, which was something I was nervous about, I'm not at all a natural in front of a camera! Chloe was great and was actually was excited to see how awesome each shot looked and she kept everything really fun and relaxed. I was back to see the final shots yesterday and was thrilled at how they came out! The hardest part is narrowing the pictures down!
Thanks again to everyone at Kent Smith for making this an awesome and fun experience, I'll definitely be recommending this studio to friends!

A beautiful place and great talent! The photographer is a miracle worker! She can get images that you wouldn't imagine! Staff extremely friendly! So..give it a try! It's for every occasion!

I won a Noir/Boudoir session with them on a Facebook contest they were doing. Chloe was my photographer and she made me feel amazing. I loved her positive and Excited attitude towards me being her client for the day. She made me feel so beautiful with her help with posing and her words of encouragement in some outfits that I wasn t exactly comfortable in. Jill was the one who helped me pick the photos for the package I chose. Every photo we looked at she was honest with me about! The amazing ones and the not so amazing ones. She explained how they could touch up the spots that kept me from picking a photo, without making me someone I m not in the picture. Soften and remove shadows was my biggest thing. Jill helped me understand the process here at Kent Smith and I can t stress enough how happy I was when I walked out after everything was said and done. I am so excited to get the photo book I ordered. I am so thankful I won and actually did this for myself. This place gets 5 stars from me because they are all great! I recently had an hour boudoir session done at Kent Smith Photography, and let me tell you, it was a wonderful experience. I was nervous and didn t know what to expect, but they made me feel comfortable. The hair and makeup was awesome! I felt like a million dollars when they were done. She even was able to get false eyelashes to stay on me, a feat I have yet to accomplish on myself. The photography session was wonderful. My photographer was very professional, I wish I could remember her name. She did an amazing job at posing me just right so she got my best angles. The whole session was fun! I went in to view my session a week later, and I really didn t recognize myself in the photos. They were so beautiful. This whole experience kind of gave me my confidence back, and I cannot wait to get the album I ordered!

Make sure you get a detailed price list from this company before you order anything!! Placed an order in March and we were not happy with the proofs and canceled the order before anything was printed. Agreed to do a re-shoot and I should have made her refund my money. They canceled the re-shoot once because of HVAC issues in the building and then I canceled because my daughter dyed her hair blue. I decided that one of the pictures from the first shoot, I wanted copies of that one. I asked for pricing via email and was expecting since I had already paid her $2703.76 for prints that I had not gotten yet that the pictures I ordered would be deducted from the money I paid. Her office assistant called me when the photos were done and told me there was a balance. I promptly told her no, I already have a huge credit with you, deduct it from my credit. I then emailed Sherri and told her that I expected the pictures to be deducted from my balance. I also told her that we would not be doing the reshoot due to personal reasons and asked that the remainder of my money be refunded. She then informed that if I wasn t getting the original order that the prints I ordered were no longer $59 each, they were $119 each....for 8x10 print, not framed!! And that I would need Pay an edit fee for the touch ups done to the original photos. The edit fee was $75. I agreed to pay the edit fee but refused to pay $119 for an 8x10 print when she quoted me $59 before and never informed me that this was a discounted price based on my original order. Basically she wants to charge me $1027 for 8-8x10 photos plus the edit fee. This is completely outrageous and a price I was never told and I never would have ordered them had she told me that price. She currently still has all my money and I filed complaints with the BBB office and Attorney General.

Update- my Visa card refunded all my money based on the receipt I provided and copies of all our emails back and forth. Always use your credit card to protect yourself. The BBB and Attorney General s office were of no help at all.

Absolutely an amazing experience! From start to finish it was perfect. Our family felt so comfortable, beautiful options for backgrounds and staff is wonderful! When I went to pick out our pictures I cried, the slideshow with the stunning pictures was overwhelming. We will be back!

I love Kent Smith! The staff is amazing and very nice. The one on one time with Amanda getting your pictures taken is great because she makes your backgrounds as unique as possible! I love the pictures that they take. When you are a model at Kent Smith you get to be in a fashion show for a great cause, that was beyond an amazing experience!

Omg I wasn't expecting anything spectacular when I scheduled the boudoir session I won on FB. When I came back to see my pictures they were so beautiful, I cried. I ended up purchasing an album. These are just a few of my favorites!

My experience at Kent Smith Photography started with my sister, Emily, having her senior pictures taken. I could tell she truly felt comfortable and beautiful while taking them. At that moment, I knew I wanted my senior pictures taken here as well. And with four years to look forward to them. KSP gives you the full experience and truly makes it unforgettable for all of their clients. An extra plus for seniors is the opportunity to do the Model Program. The smaller sessions, over a longer period of time, captures the senior through the graduation process. Also, Amanda, the photographer gets to know you even better and the style you have. Every set and background creates a timeless portrait and Amanda makes sure to capture the perfect expression. I m amazed to see that every portrait is unique and true to who is in them. KSP is not only family owned but makes you feel like family as soon as you walk in the door, and long after you receive your images. I wouldn t trade my experience here for any other. Fantastic staff. Felt really welcomed. Very professional, and at the same time not at all pretentious.

I am very disappointed in my overall experience. The photo shoot day was nice; the photographer was professional, friendly and patient with the kids. I scheduled an appointment to view the proofs. That wasn t a bad experience but the proofs needed some editing. Lighting was very poor in most pictures which limited what pictures I could buy. Long story short I ended up spending 1,100 dollars on 7 photos and a very small album.

Things went down hill from here. My pictures came in none of the promised edits were done. In one picture you could see the dirt and stains on the studio white walls. The package was not worth $1,100. I was thoroughly disappointed. After calling the studio to discuss my concerns. I was told they would reprint my pictures.
They did but didn t do it as promised. I could of gotten a better package at JCPenny for 29.99.

I don t think we (my family) are valued customers. Therefore, We will not return nor will I recommend them.

The staff here are WONDERFUL! I had won s shoot and the place screams empowerment and love. Miss talia did my makeup and she was super sweet and cool. And Amanda I believe was the photographer and she made me feel sooo comfortable like...yall...im noy gonna take photos with anyone but she made me feel so beautiful and confident and its something Ill never forget. I can't wait for my photos!

Kent Smith has been amazing with photographing our son for his Senior pictures. We have had a few sessions so far and everyone at the studio is very welcoming and easy to work with. The photographer took time to get to know my son, and I truly feel she has captured his style and personality. We are absolutely thrilled with the photos! Talk about the most amazing studio ever!!! KS not only made my daughters senior picture experience amazing for her, they made it special for me. The level of quality in everything is top notch! The studio is super nice, the staff is amazing, the pictures are gorgeous, unique, & like no other! We had our own dressing room with my daughters name on it like a celebrity dressing room! We even took our dog in for a session and they had a water bowl all ready to make her comfortable as well. They think of everything! I couldn't be more pleased with the whole experience!! Thanks so much to Sheri, Amanda, and the rest of the staff! You have made this an experience we will never forget!!

The quality of our photos was okay. Their process of buying the photos was very unprofessional and disappointing. The pricing minus the very bad experience equals poor value. I am not going to use their service again but if I did, I would make sure to set the expectations clearly upfront.

They made me feel very comfortable and got rid of my fears. Awesome place to have Noir photos done.

Amanda harness is an amazing photographer. Very fun and personable, she really takes all the details in to account for the right shots. She is very talented. The Studio is really inviting, would absolutely go for future family and professional photography again.

I honestly don't know how Kent Smith Photography has received so many good reviews...I could not say enough about how disappointed I was with my experience. Although the photographer was nice, that is where the good ends for me. I was told I "won" a "free" session ("a $1000 value") through Facebook and they make it seem as though you won an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity & then they use scam tatics to try & get you to pay ridiculous prices to actually get the photos. I have worked with & paid other photographers and/or printers MUCH less than Kent Smith Photography was asking and have received much more/better in all aspects - in experience of photographers, posing, lighting, editing, prints, quality, timeliness, setups/backdrops, customer service, overall experience, etc. In my opinion, it seems to me that you are overcharged not for quality, but to keep their pretty office afloat & with fresh flowers...it's ridiculous. I would never recommend to book with Kent Smith Photography and if you already did, I would get a very detailed price list in writing in advance & stay firm to not fall for any sales/scam tatics. What is shown on their website for pricing is not necessarily what they ask you to pay - definitely not in my experience! My whole experience was a waste of my time & money and I wish I never let them photograph me or my family.

I got my senior pictures taken at Kent Smith and they all turned out so good! The staff was so nice and welcoming and the whole experience was enjoyable. Also, the quality is amazing and not something you can find anywhere else. Definitely recommend getting your pictures taken here!!
