Kids and I loved the Exhibits. The scale of the Apollo launcher was amazing. For an amusement park like experience, the food at the Orbit cafe was actually really good. Plan for a full day though to see everything. We only had half a day and missed several exhibits.

We were enthusiastic about the depth and the interesting preparation (many interactive screens, ...) of the exhibitions. In addition, it is simply fascinating to experience the dimensions of a rocket, launcher, ... in reality. We had already bought the tickets online from Germany. So we did not have to hire the ticket booth.
All in all, we can only recommend a visit to the KSC with a bus tour. It is not cheap, but definitely worth it!
Great day out. The coach trip to the Saturn V Center is informative and interesting, although on our day they couldn t take us to the launch pad. The shuttle launch simulator is good, but could be more educational, perhaps the queue could be modified to have more information to read, as on my visit there was a 45 minute wait to board.
As a child I looked at everything, touched everything that could be touched. Impressive what you see. The only problem is the bus ride. When you go up, sit in the left rows. To the right you see nothing. They could take a different turn back to allow the unfortunate to see something. However it's worth it to see it. The thing that impressed me most was to see the Gemini cockpit so small that it makes an impression to think that the astronauts were there for days. Same effect as when I see the old 500, how could I get in there.
The KSC is amazing! It is Disneyland for space geeks. The bus tour to the Vehicle Construction Building was awesome. Friendly staff. The restaurants were good, but not enough organic/healthy options, so bring snacks if you like healthy food.
It was so fun and lots of 4-d experiences! I won't ruin it for you though (there are lots of great/pleasant surprises in their presentations) It is worth the admission , but make sure you eat before you go because their lines can be long in the cafe and a wee bit expensive. Make sure you go here if you go to Daytona or any where near! We spent a better part of the day and only left because we were tired. -Oh yeah and there is an amusement type ride in the Atlantis center where is simulates going into space, also fun!
Getting to know the Kennedy Space Center is an unforgettable and remarkable experience for those who like science, technology and history. It is a very different ride from the experiences we have at the theme parks and although it seems like a place with few attractions, maybe one day is not enough to enjoy all that the Visitor Center offers. The bus tour is pretty cool and ends with an amazing visit to the Apollo mission environment.
Not many things to do, but very interesting things to see. I definitely recommend the Early Space tour if are keen on seeing places where space race history was made.
This place was very informative and interesting ...So much educational ..I liked most.. If you interested to know astronaut s life, what is space shuttle all were there.. If you lucky enough to see the racket launching..we easily spent the whole day .. kids enjoyed this place Their prices were much more reasonable than the Disney theme parks and Universal studios ... Free parking ..Definitely value for money...
This place surpassed my expectations. If you love anything STEM this is for you. There are a lot of documentaries and videos to watch but it gives you a more in-depth look at the history of NASA, none that could he googled The employees here are pleasant as well. I did not have any bad experiences. It is an all day thing and there's a lot of walking. Cautionary note there is no seating in some of the exhibits, most people just sit on the floor. Atlantis building and the bus tour was everything!!
Wonderful experience! The exhibits are extremely educational and every space enthusiast should visit. The tour guides and other personnel were helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and made the visit pleasant.
My husband and I were excited to come here, but it turned out to be a big disappointment. Several attractions were closed down (I assume as a pandemic precaution) but I did not see any mention of it on their website. Had we known, we would not have chosen to pay as much as we did for the tickets. Really, the only engaging thing was the shuttle sim, everything else just seemed like NASA recruitment. Also, many of their touch screens and simulators were broken. Overall, we would not recommend.
Not worth my money, 3 adults 2 kids, youngest a 3 years old. Spent $300 for what the experience is, not worth it. They give you entrance for next visit but this place is a one time visit and we live out of town, my opinion they should have discounted admission instead. Some of the attractions are closed. Worst part is there is a couple of security people with very poor attitude, we found this one guys who approached people during the walking experience to tell them don't touch this or don't go there or don't do that, when most of the time people was probably not even going to touch, go or do it. On our way out the place was already closed (around 4:10pm) and this security guy (someone approaching people before), rushed us out saying "let's go, let's go let's get out hurry up!" Seriously!?? I know he was probably ready to go home to continue to live his miserable life but I thing the "hurry up" part was unnecessary. To come here, pay that high price for what the experience was and be treated like that no thank you, not coming back or recommending to anyone.
One of the best things we did in our visit to Florida was to visit NASA. Exciting, entertaining, one feels part of the recent history of the world. Presentations 3d, Imax, interactive, reproductions of lugsres, a great place to visit ...
Great attraction! I visited for the first time in 30 years and was shocked at how different (better) it was. Plan an entire day to see the attractions; I highly recommend the bus tour to start as the info on the bus tour helps you to orient. This is an extremely educational attraction that is coupled with lots of fun stuff for kids and adults. The staff was super attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful. The down side is tickets cost about $53 for Brevard residents and a little more for tourists and the food in the park is a little below average. Don't let that change your mind, it is a great way to spend the day!
Fun! Definitely recommend the guided tour. Well worth the money. They do include a lunch with the guided tour, so head to the t poo ur area around lunch time if you would like to take advantage of the free sandwich, chips, and water. Most exhibits are indoors with chilly air conditioning.
NASA and my respects are beautiful, but you need to improve food at fast food stands. It is expensive and little food and very unpleasant taste. There must be interpreters in Spanish and other languages to serve the public. And there must be new technology. Not only show antiques of the year 60. It is own old. And we saw nothing that was at the forefront of the 21st century. Which we get disappointed.
This was an awesome place. I really enjoyed it and think it is a great place to take your family. Kennedy space center has a variety of interesting attractions and food. It is a very good place to go with kids over 5 years old. Overall, I would reccomend this place to anybody who is into space travel.
Last visit prior today was Aug '05. KSC Museum is kid-friendly (i.e. promotes their interest in space travel). Being up close to Space Shuttle Atlantis was surreal. Tribute to Challenger and Columbia (to include actual pieces of the Shuttles) makes you appreciate what the Astronauts sacrificed to further space exploration.
This was a great place to spend the day! Very informative and interactive with plenty for both children and adults. Unfortunately due to covid, some of the exhibits are closed which was a disappointment however the visitor's center is giving away free tickets for 2021 to make up for the closures which is good compensation.
It is not enough for a day. One day in the VAB and amusement of the shuttle, one day in the early days of the listing. It can be enjoyed by children and adults alike. It is also surprising that this is made up of admission only.
Expo / attractions interesting and fun, fun. There is however a small technical side that we will wait when we go to a space center. Tip: Do not take popcorn unless you like high blood pressure. They do not know sweet popcorn, and salt doses are American.
A magical place with a fascinating history. Cute one-hour bus tour included in the ticket price. Also nice is the video narration in the two projections at the end of the tour with the bus. To see everything you need to stay at least 3/4 hours. Clearly there were moments of self-congratulatory moments, but what to expect? Good for them to get there first.
It is a moderately entertaining place, who is fond of safe space will make the most of it and will be amazed. The souvenir shop is not as expensive as in other places, they have a good price in general ... If you want to make the most of your visit, check dates of rocket launches :)
