Once parked in the private car park, the instruction is to ring for assistance with your luggage. If you know how to fend for yourself, ring the bell anyway at this locked door, otherwise you will be able to walk around the block with your suitcases in the shopping street to reach the main entrance. On the other hand, the building is really magnificent, and the proximity to the city center is really great! The staff are very friendly and helpful. My opinion agrees with that of the last, for the room not worthy of 5 stars (view, cleanliness, ..) No explanation of the operation and services on arrival. Check out time 11am, we knock on your door at 10am to find out if they can already clean. Breakfast until 11am (so brush your teeth before the orange juice) and indeed, the INDIVIDUAL tongs are on your table but we don't tell you. And the breads / croissants are ready to receive the postilions of each. In short, you pay for the proximity of the center.

Very nice hotel.
I definitely want to visit again when I go to Bruges.
The lobby, bar and restaurant interiors are the best and the garden is wonderful!
The room was spacious and clean and relaxed.
Breakfast was very satisfying with champagne, waffles and chocolate from the morning.

Very nice hotel, good starting point to explore the city. The reception staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable.
The room was clean, in the evening the bed was uncovered, curtains were drawn and a piece of chocolate was also on the bedside table.
Shower gel, shampoo from L'Occitane, etc. sufficiently available.

The only 5-star hotel in Bruges superb construction very well located in the city center the staff is very welcoming the breakfast is extraordinary the bedding is excellent the room of reasonable size however the bathroom is perfectible the mixer taps are not thermostatic the bathtub a little damaged the floor is slippery and the water is just hot at certain times finally shutters would allow a better occultation of the day.

This is the most beautiful and majestic hotel I know. Lunch is just excellent (eggs, bacon, fruit, Belgian chocolate, pastries, pastries, fresh fruit juice, pancakes, cold meats, cheese platter ...)! The hotel is clean, classy and luxurious. The staff is very professional and helpful. They speak all languages. The park is very beautiful and the spa is small but has a small effect. I'll be back !

As fantastic as ever! We were here a few years ago and enjoyed it - and the memories brought us back. Bruges Christmas Markets is one of the most romantic and beautiful places to spend Christmas.

Very friendly hotel in a quiet location that's close to the centre of Bruges. We stayed in one of the suites and it was very pleasant with an excellent bathroom. Good breakfast selection in the morning. No complaints at all.

Superb Palace in the heart of the historic center of Bruges. Parking accessible from the back. The suite is beautiful. One could expect more upscale in the bathroom, which is gigantic but overall simply equipped. The small touches strawberry / chocolate are the little ones that fly. Lunch is generous without being breathtaking. A guided tour already begins with the history of the places. Price of a palace with value for money correct.

The hotel building was beautiful. but other than that there is not much i can recommend about this place. We stayed in the junior suite expressly because they advertised stained glass windows and historical features. Our room had neither. When i spoke with them about it they point out that the technical working only says "some" rooms have these features. My wife and I offered to move to a normal room if they'd refund the difference. They instead offered us a credit, we were there for one night the credit was useless to us. Further the top floor hallways smelled of smoke. When we went to leave we asked the concierge to order us a cab which they assured us several times that the had but no cab arrived in the next 30 minutes and we had to waive down a taxi to not miss our train (which we barely did). Our cab driver told us the hotel contracts with a local unreliable taxi service and that is why the rest of our trip was nearly ruined.

Save your money this place is all attitude and very little quality.

One of the only 2 5-star hotels in Belgium. But in my opinion not a real 5-star hotel. The building is wonderful, the rooms are big and a nice mix between historical and luxurious. Age is beginning to show though. But my main issue: the service is lacking: not pro-active. Turn down had to be requested, the bar in the room was empty, room service didn't pick up the phone and had to be paid upon delivery. We had to wait in line to get a table for breakfast, ... Just not what you'd expect a 5-star experience to be.

SUPERB hotel.

SUPERB hotel.
We have stayed there twice and each time it was beautiful.
The rooms are large, the bedding very good and what about the glass bathroom with bath, shower and sink ...
You have parking under the hotel and you are located in the city center, easy to discover Bruges on foot.
We ate also side brewery where you can nibble small tapas and other small snacks and side restaurant where you eat traditional French very correct. Prices are however normal for a 5 * hotel.
And what about the breakfast including several Scandinavian style buffet, American and pastries + chocolate blocks. You can also drink good cava for breakfast. to try, it goes all alone ;-)

A lovely clean hotel located in the centre. Everything is within walking distant. The hotel itself is very clean. Our room was spacious and the staff were extremely friendly throughout our stay.

My wife said the toiletries within the room were very good. However she did find having only one mirror and that being in the toilet not enough. This is of no use when you need a plug socket!

A picturesque hotel with a lovely bar too. The hot chocolate we had was also very nice. All in all a lovely hotel and we definitely would stay here should we come back.

Top welcome. Beautiful and nickel room. In times of covid, everything is thought out to respect the measures while pampering the customer. Breakfast to take to your room, delicious and very varied.
A big thank you to the technical department for our little car concerns.

it was good but culinary?

it was good but culinary?
not exactly, for example, no fresh sole, but the price of a fresh sole.
probably work with a lot of interns.
Topper in the restaurant is maitre Tibo.
he went out of his way and tried to solve every problem and was open to positive feedback.
Reception service good, but I think interns are also here.
the general manager is also very professional and helpful in solving problems.
nice rooms clean and spacious.

Perfect hotel, restaurant to improve

Perfect hotel, restaurant to improve
We booked one night at this hotel between the end of year holidays and frankly for the hotel: no complaints. Impeccable service. All employees are trilingual. We have been "upgraded" for our pleasure. The hotel is very well located (in the center), ample parking, ample and very good breakfast, large TV, large bathroom with shower and bath ... The point to improve is the restaurant especially in a 5 *: we have dinner at the "bistro" (the gourmet restaurant is not open on Sunday). The prices are frankly excessive for the quality of the dishes, and the service - even if friendly - was not at the level: we do not take full hand the glasses of customers, we do not serve dishes with fingerprints in the sauce placed on the edge of the plate, the candle on the table was melted and extinguished, the fries all dry, we had to ask for bread while it was served on the other tables, we had to ask for salt and pepper while it was served on the other tables ... finally lots of little things that are not acceptable when you want a high-end restaurant in a 5 * hotel.
