Good property .. prime location but very bad maintenance... Washrooms stink.. not sure about restaurant here.. outdated rooms.. ample space around ..

You have to be kidding me.
I don't know where to start: From rooms stinking of pesticides, to the AC not working, for the duration of the 3 hours I was there.
All that I did during my 3 hours there is supervise the maintenance team "try" to fix the Air Conditioning.

The reception is a very deceptive representation of what the actual hotel is, in terms of the quality.
I eventually cancelled my booking, as I was tired from all the travel.

The food at the hotel is also very substandard.

The employee assisting me with my baggage agreed that there were a lot of customers that are upset with the room.

Oh, and let's not even talk about the bathroom and the toilet. Public toilets are better maintained. The toilet and the "bath tub" was moulded, with god alone knows what!

Not sure how the hotel is still rated 3.6, but please, if anyone is considering booking this, PLEASE DO NOT. I do not want anyone to experience what I did.

Had my anniversary celebrated there. Great food. Amazing service. Luckily we had bengali food festival going on. Being a bengali in hyderabad, I miss bengali food. It was an amazing night.

Don't go if you don't want to ruin your day. No quality, no response from staffs for compliments, bedbugs, leaking bathrooms, intercoms not working ,rude staffs .

Had a nice experience with Katriya Hotel, went there for meeting with a Client at kuchipudi restaurant. Client was too happy with the food, we are planning for a get together soon there. Just love the place!

1) The pillow covers are not changed
2) Ideally they should not do this, formally asked for pillow change. No response for more than an hour
3) Trying to order food for dinner. Reckless response, rude behavior, improper commitment. I went down to the receptionist and asked for manager, he too is reckless and asked me to go to the in-hotel restaurant and have(Very Rude)
4) Mosquitoes in the bed room
5) Shower head in the bathroom doesn't work
6) No response from either room service nor receptionists
7) Water is totally not coming in the bath room

The only thing I liked here is pastry I had here and service provided by a staff member when I checked in. That too there was no one at the counter for 5 mins. Had to wait over there also.

This Hotel is Having Many Meetings Halls and this is Very near to IDP IELTS Office, IDP will conduct IELTS Listening Reading Writing Tests in this Hotel. Located in City Center.

Worst food quality....bad service of manager.... They served kheer in small plates.... Ambience was good

A good hotel with reasonable rates, central to shops and close to yashoda hospital (walking distance). Staff are friendly.

This place is unhygienic and not worth the money they charge. They claim to be a 4 star hotel but has very poor service and is not well kept.

One of the best place for party delicious food too. Hospitality is best.

Everything is okay, infrastructure and service and all. But everything comes after FOOD only. WORST FOOD EVER...being A Star hotel need to improve in that.

Buffet dinner was quite ok. But the tastes were not really Hyderabadi in any sense. However, a good place for a gathering of friends or family.

Can I give a negetive star here..?? Well I'm writing this review while still staying at this place. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!. Please for God's sake stay away from this hotel..
The lobby looks so grand tht u feel u have come to an awesome place. But thts just an illusion. The corridors r dingy. Not sure who spits in the corridor. Full of guthka stains.
Well its like a roullet if u want to call reception, house keeping or in room dining. No one picks up the call. U have to call at least 5-6 times. U r lucky if someone picks up the call. And the attitude! Gawd they behave like ambanis. According to them, they r just doing u a favour by answering the phone calls!! Don't have words to explain further. Not sure why people even come here. I had no other choice since my travel agent said only this pathetic hotel is available for my business travel. Anyhow, the service here is utter nonsense. No one cares for u. Feels like u have entered a prohibited area where everyone looks at u like u r an alien.
No hot water available. Its just like luke warm. Call the housekeeping 10 times and 11th time they answer and say they r sending the engineer to check. It's been 24 hrs and nobody turns up. Had to shower with cold water. And the Equipments too belong to harappa and mohenjodaro era.
Room service is so bad that u will die of hunger but they will not consider u at all. Probably they have only a single person to answer to phone calls. And he has no idea what u r saying. Domino's delivers within 30 minutes but these guys take 45 minutes to even answer the phone call. Trust me I'm not exaggerating but it's a fact.
I would have called the hotel incharge to complain but I seriously feel its no point.
Well the only positive point is the food here is really good. Only if u r lucky to have had it delivered. Breakfast spread was good. Only positive point I repeat.
But please do not come here if u have a choice to stay somewhere else.
Indian railway stations will take good care of u better than this hotel.

Very pathetic hotel... untidy unresponsive management. Please don't waste your money

Attended an engagement @ Katriya hotel on 07 Jul 18. The ambience @ the entrance is good. That's it. The toilets were stinking. The service during dinner was not at all worthy of a 3 star hotel. Though dinner was served @ 2 places, no one was there to guide people waiting in the 1st hall. One had to wait for 5 mins to be served though it was a buffet. The guys places there were running around looking for spoons etc as though they were just hired. I was told to wait for 5 minutes for ice cream after finishing my dinner. There is lot to improve.

Excellent place, rooms to be maintained in good condition. Also need improvement in hotel management.

I never seen dash hotel like this....
This is not my angry ...They should close the hotel nd learn how to do hospitality .

The hotel is a star hotel but the cost they charge for a room is very less. Awesome lobby area. Good food at the restaurants. I had dinner at Kasual which is very tasty. I liked to stay again in the property.

The hotel is very good. Restaurant is a bit overpriced. Hotel rooms are a bit old fashioned. More than cleanliness the rooms need renovation because tiles and walls are very old. Location is near Hussain Sagar lake.

One of the best hotels near Ameerpet... Well maintained... Easily accessible... Good luxury... But Too costly and at the end of the stay, you will feel they are charging you a little more than what they deserve...

Hi m pranita sanmukh.....from 3 days i m staying katriya resort in HYDRABAD......very old and broken property..... there room service is worst ......waste of money. Non supportive staff in room section ....bt anybody wants to go then go only for food .....there food quality is very awesome ...mr.naidu sir & staff...........very supportive staff & specially shef mr. NAIDU sir...we really miss u & ur tasty n fabulous food....we will come soon...

Food was very poor at a function. Better not to mention washrooms cleanliness.

Ill maintained hotel and uncourteous staff. We checked in and we were allotted an unclean room. As we had used an online portal to book, the manager just disowned. We had to wait a full hour to get a room. Room service is just not existent. Still waiting for a coffee that I requested room service an hour ago. It is so unfortunate that such a beautiful property is just not managed well.
