This is a hard review. They were great about getting my truck in on short notice and getting it fixed. But some of the parts replaced were questionable. 1 bolts and u-joint caps that were replaced less that one year ago. 2 on the end of the shaft that didn t need to come apart. It s only a matter of $65 but it makes me think about the practice. Also it s ok to let the driver know it ll be four hours until the truck can get in. Most of us can and would sleep better in our truck than the very convenient lounge.

Driving down the road on a flat tire I stop to the gas station next to here air pump is broken so I check in here and just to put air in my tire or let me use an air hose the quote was 85 dollars never in my life have I ever experienced this edited to state I drive a smaller suv ford escape

Mike (Michael) was amazing. Experienced. Calm. Helpful. Resourceful. He was the second tow truck to show to tow my keyless car. That said, I will make them the preferred towing service for all of our vehicles and recommend them to our fleet service and GM roadside service for the lakeshore area. I m not happy that he got the wrong instructions from GM/Chevy roadside but I am happy he was willing and could take time to tow the vehicle.

First we hit a snag towing the AWD - no key - vehicle. He was willing to wait for dealership to contact us and walk us through. (This wasn t a typical towing call). While we waited he tapped a couple people and he even helped me search the drain field of melted snow to see if maybe the key was there. When the dealership finally called back it was a fairly detailed process but he got the vehicle on the flat bed and towed. The fleet company sent him/me to the wrong location for repair. He was kind enough to take it to the correct place. That said, when they take an insurance call they do not get paid well. I have calls into my fleet co., the roadside service and the yahoos who didn t know you can t easily tow a vehicle without a key to disengage or engage the vehicle into neutral. I have asked that they compensate for the time/effort it took to make this happen. Thank you Michael.

To the towing company I have used for 15 years, my advice to you? Don t send an inexperienced hauler who is in a hurry and not willing to take time to fulfill the job. They shall remain anonymous here but the name starts with an M.

I sent my volvo truck there because the volvo dealership was too busy. After talking to scott to find out the issue and let me know scott disregarded me went through my driver and over charged me an hour amd a half for the same work. Speaking to scott today he doesnt feel he did anything wrong he had a signed invoice to prove he did the right thing. The signature is fraud since it was my truck i was to be told what was wrong. I would strongly advise donnot use this repair shop. My next phone call is to the BBB and the AG of Michigan to file a grievance for unfair business practice as a repair facility

I wont be calling anyone or reporting anything. Instead of trying to make this right scott decided to call my driver and threaten legal actions jail time and a bunch of other scary things. He told my driver unless he gets me to stop pursuing my grievance than he would come after him. My driver begged me not to do anything to the point he would quit and hide if i continued my fight.
Well done scott. You successfully bullied and threatened someones life. I truly hope the owner sees this review. Dont give this shop your time or money

Have always had good service here, even for being a woman. Staff is very friendly. Was able to get in right away and they were very accommodating.

My family and I had just recovered from getting two blown out camper trailer tires fixed on the day before the Fourth of July traveling from WI to Traverse City. We had no idea where we were and who to turn to in order to get a piece of the trailer welded back together. They took us in immediately on the spot, fixed it fast and were awesome to work with!! Thank you so much for helping us out and getting back on our way, we appreciate it more than you know!!

I will write some more detailed comment when I have time. For now I just want to leave 1 star from every google account that I have. I think you know what was the problem, look up in your system.

I just bought a jeep Cherokee and the brakes froze up on it and k&r was super helpful getting to a location that i can work on it. They saved my butt. Will recommend them to anyone and everyone

I was LEAD TO BELIEVE THERE WOULD BE NO CHARGE/NOT IFORMED THERE WOULD BE A $160 Charge for someone to spend less than 15 minutes to look at my box truck to determie if it was worth putting in the new motor we had purchased. The afore mentioned vechicle is less than 1O miles from their base of operations. No tools were even required/used.

Bought a simple mud flap reflector and let me use their tools to put it on, thanks!

The entire staff at K&K was tremendous. From the road service repairman to the wrecker driver, the mechanic and the office personnel, they were professional and courteous.

Nice newer shop. People were good to deal with and completed repairs in a fairly good time. Seems they are a bit expensive on the parts they installed. Nearly double for a Bendix Air dryer compared to nearly any Google search online store price. My fault, I didn't do my research first.

dont do it! They would not change a tire on the side of the road for fear of getting hit poorservice

They got my Class A 37' motorhome in right away. The people listened very carefully to the issues and concerns, and asked the right questions. They pinpointed several possible problems and gave me an accurate estimate.
There were some parts that they couldn't source, because of the age of the vehicle. I was able to spend time researching, and eventually finding the needed parts.
The install was great, and the several people I dealt with were very helpful and genuinely concerned.
I believe the pricing was fair.
If needed, I will use them again with confidence.

Helpful and friendly staff able to provide me with used truck parts without a problem, cheap and affordable parts why buy him new when you can get them used here. They also do sell new parts as well of your not one for used parts. They also service trucks and have towing services available if your broke down on the side of the road.

My husband and I love this shop. 1.They work with you 2. Great customer service 3. Try there very best to get you up and running. After all time is money in this industry. I just want to give the owner my greatest gratitude (ed) and the staff. Every chance I get I will refer this shop. I was north bound on 131 near rockford and one of your trucks was behind me. We were doing 65mph and he was about one car length off my rear. He was pulling a semi tractor also. He passed me doing 70+ in the rain during rush hour traffic !!! This jerk needs a good talking to by management.

Nobody really knows what's going on there. Was told three different things by 2 different people. And they Illegaly seize vehicles.

This company is a joke! We locked our keys inside our car, called them, guy said it would be 5-10 minutes. WAITED OVER 50 MINUTES for someone to show up. Nobody ever came. Ended up opening it with a hanger finally and called them back and told them that we didn t need their services. DONT NOT CALL THEM IF YOU RE IN A HURRY!

Mike and his crew saved the day! We were in a terrible situation with an old camper that collapsed while we were driving down the highway 12 hours from home. They responded promptly and even stored the camper until we found another place to keep it. They could have taken advantage of us in this horrible situation but they were completely honest and fair. I highly recommend this reputable company! Thanks again Mike!

Absolutely horrible. Great fit if you're looking for rude and aggressive workers... Lots of room for improvement in this company and who they choose to employ.

Their used part division is great, Many times over they have helped me locate parts I didn't have for my customers and get them shipped down here to the Louisville area at great cost. Jay is funny on the phone and great to work with.

I call for oil Change in the morning they say they will take me in and they did but take them 3.5 hours to change the oil. Bill was 425$ I ask them them they're charging me so much usually is around 350 375$. They say they put full sintetic oil wich I never ask for... If you need to get rip off and wait long time thats the place!!!

Easy to schedule service for work, friendly staff, able to make repairs quickly.

They had 1 truck broke down I waited 3 hrs then called Reliable, they had many trucks make me waiting not happy

CAVEAT EMPTOR...on the positive side, I was treated with very great customer service when my alternator failed on my way into work. They were able to tow my car to the garage in a reasonable amount of time.

My shock came with the bill. I was charged over $130 for a 6.1 mile tow. $75.00 for the tow (which is reasonable) and over $50 mileage. What they failed to tell me is that K&R charges mileage based on their location to where I was located just east of Zeeland (which was 9.6 miles), then to where my garage was (6.1 miles) and then from my garage to their home base (4.3). They charge me a $56 mileage.

My insurance agent indicated that the bill was quite high for a 6 mile tow. I did call K&R and they reduced the bill to $100. I called several of their competitors in the area and I discovered that same tow would have been between $65 - $ 75. So before you call K&R, shop around. In spite of great customer service, you pay a premium for it.

Had a great experience with parts Dept. There was a small issue, but Jay Guy resolved it quickly. Would highly recommend. Fair prices and great service!!!

They did what I didn't ask at service. At the end I have payed $900, $610 of which was Labor

We had a small incident where we couldn t drive our car to the dealership. Mike was there in a matter of 5 minutes or so, he was super nice, clean, and enjoyable to work with. 10/10 would recommend k&r.

Had the very specific plow solenoid in stock which was awesome! Price reflected keeping it on hand! great part!

Nice guys will help you find what you need and if they don't have it or can't get it they can tell you were you can. Very fair prices aswell.

Over charged and found out he bent my tire rod costing me a lot in repairs

They don't deserve even 1 star. Whoever picked the call sounds like he is sleeping and not ready for emergencies. I have needed their service not once and they didn't show up. Don't recommend.

We use K&R Towing whenever we can. They have always been fair, easy to work with, and we get quick response time.

Charged us $600 just to fix the brake chamber, And this was not a road service call, Truck went in there. Not recommended.

Poor Service from Morning advisor, kept me there till 7 pm, Great service from evening manager. All in All , I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who is on the Clock.

Was called out to adjust load and dropped it on the ground and did not Take full responsibility for their actions and had to pay for all the time that it took them to pick the load up off the ground damage to my truck and will not pay for the damages will be getting a lawyer involved since they want to be so unprofessional do not use these people if you wanna keep your truck 4 hours and 1300 for there Carelessness

I have had better service thru a ta then this place had my truck almost a week and still wasn't done. Then the service tech wants to cuz me better be glad I hung up instead of cussing him

Great group of people to work with. Friendly and knowledgably staff that you can trust. Have been working with Robb and Ed for several years now and highly recommend.

I was interested in a truck on the lot. The staff did everything they could to assist me. Allowed me to take it on many test runs. Had it warmed up for me when I called to let them know. Fueled up for me and everything. Very up front about prices and terms. That was very nice for a change. I would absolutely recommend going to see these guys.

They apparently were not interested in selling a truck. Emailed on Sunday to call us about a truck. At 10 something the next day we called them and asked if possible to see the truck later in the afternoon. Called again at 1:37 stating we were in the Flint area on our way and would be there around 4 pm. Got there at 4 and waited around for just under 2 hours because no one put a charger on the truck. Still wouldn't start and wasn't even able to look at the truck. They lost out on a possible cash sale and we will never even consider doing business with them in the future!

Not happy with this company. I don't know what kind of people they employ, but apparently they will run a car off the highway if they feel like it. I'm just glad I wasn't hurt or worse.

Broke down near Loves in Holland, they came within the time said. Jim was the tech who came for road service, nice guy knew what the problem was. Filter dryer froze up, secondary tank not filling air. It was raining moist weather previous day, freezing cold 2day. Filter dryer swapped out, alcohol added..Jim waited till air filled, took some time...Fixed...Great service, nice people, no bs....Thanks

So thankful to this business for getting us fixed and back on the road. Scot in service was great to work with. We was informed of every step from diagnosis, to the final test drive. Highly recommend this place.

Horrible place to work. Your just a number to management not a person. Lots of hack job works and corner cutting on trucks just to make a couple extra bucks.
