This is a beautiful hotel and a great place for a business function. We are here for a food show and the food is outstanding and the facility is great. The staff has been very friendly and kept the hotel very clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Awesome family getaway spot, overall I like it better than the Hyatt Lost Pines. The pool setup is great and the water slides are the best I've seen at a hotel. They even have one of those "drop" slides where you're in a pod and the floor drops out as well as some inner tube slides (including tandem). Great service and the grounds were immaculate. Food and drink are typical resort prices and good quality.
The hotel is beautiful and the staff are all very friendly. There is a water park with many swimming pools and a lazy river. There are also many restaurants located on the property so you really have it all right here on the resort. This is a great place to take the whole family.
One of the most beautiful resorts. All the staff is extremely friendly & ready to help. A little slow sometimes, but usually well worth the wait. I love the little perks like head phones & apples in the gym, service where ever you sit, & mouth wash in the bathroom. I would never leave if I didn't have too!

I WORKED here for one day..and the housekeeping manager or whimever she was ..used a face towel..to clean a surface..AND THEN she politely put it back...
Not only that she ATTEMPTED..to make me clean with 3 towels for 3 rooms...I QUIT..THAT DAY FROM DISGUST..I MEAN PEOPLE PAY THOUSANDS..TO STAY THERE...after seeing what goes on behind the scenes..I WOULDNT WORK OR STAY THERE.
Just went to the golf course to run a race but it was dark lmaooo luckily the golf course was LITTTTT XDDDDDDDDDDDDD
The resort staff were all very nice, attentive, courteous and above any other hotel/resort I've ever visited. Of course the facility itself was impeccable. Everything was very well maintained and the quality of the facility itself is impeccable.
No working TV or phone and no one willing to fix it. Un able to answer questions at front desk
1 Star was based on my February Week 1 stay at the Marriott. The room I was given a conference room with a pull out bed which was uncomfortable. I had billings issues with the Cibolo Moon resturant for which I had to stay on the line for at least 60 minutes. The representative from support center asked for my credit card number to locate my records and wasn't helpful at all. I had a Manger from the hotel follow up who was able to resolve the issue. I think this issue could have been avoided by better communication from the staff at the restaurant.
I'm staying here for at least 3 more weeks and will update the review in the coming weeks
Love this place but its pricey $52 breakfast buffet with all the mimosas you can drink....lol and I tried. Food was good pool was good great weekend get away.

Such an amazing place! It's a shame that about 25% of the staff is rude & unhelpful. I asked the waitress at the pool where we could find towels & she looked at me like I was crazy for interrupting her & her friend that were talking about "school". Also, the older lady making the smores was very short & dry with the children. All the money you pay, the staff should be more helpful & unbothered. Rooms are clean, grounds are fantastic, food is excellent, but SOME staff just ruin the marvelous experience unfortunately.
Thanksgiving buffet servers are slow at drink service and you have to really be on them to get any service.

We love coming to the JW Marriott for a holiday staycation. The rooms are comfortable and roomy and everything is conveniently placed around the building. The breakfast buffet at Cibolo Moon is especially good and room service is very good, so it's a tough choice in the morning!

What an amazing Resort! Their brunch is beyond over the top! And it seems as though it's pretty much an all-inclusive resort I noticed a nice little market and a Starbucks coffee shop! And behind the bar I saw one of the most amazing tequila collections I have ever seen in my life in the United States!

This is always a great place to stay in San Antonio in any season. It's upscale without being overly fancy and it's definitely kid friendly.

Parking was a little tough when we went.
I went to the spa only. I did not have any service, just paid for access to use the facility. The staff was perfect no complaints at all, however the facility was horrible and not worth the price. Everything is out dated. The furniture needs to be replaced in the inhalation room. There were tiles missing from the indoor spa/Jacuzzi. I will never return here. I was truly disappointed and embarrassed I brought someone here for their birthday.

This place is huge! They have an incredible waterpark complete with multiple pools, lazy river (my fave!), waterslides, and plenty of lounge space. I didn't try the restaurants, but they look very nice. My only real complaint is that for the money, a room with two beds only has full sized beds, not queen. That little bit of extra space would be nice to have. This place is beautiful though!
Love the peaceful setting of the resort nestled into the hill country. Customer service is outstanding throughout all areas. From water slides to s'mores, arcades and kids camp there are activities for the family. This is hands down our favorite Texas resort.
Tons of activities for adults and children. The pina coladas are DELICIOUS and give you that vacation feel. The scenery is beautiful, food is great. There is something for everyone! I highly recommend for families, couples, or a much needed getaway.

Great relaxing retreat. Water park was lovely with lazy river. Great variety of on property restaurants. Nice walkable trails. The indoor and outdoor fireplaces were perfect for warming up in March when the morning/evening air can be brisk. Note to Marriott rewards members - there is no concierge lounge at this property.
Beautiful, expansive hotel with a spectacular golf course. The sports bar is a place to behold with its huge curved screen that encompasses the whole bar.
We stayed here over the easter holiday and it was the best experience ever. We booked 3 rooms and they were all impeccable! The staff is absolutely amazing and incredibly friendly. The kids had so much fun and the adults were able to relax...a win win for everyone. The resort is stunning. Can't wait to go back.

We couldn't be happier about our stay here. The place is literally Heaven on Earth! Every inch of the grounds is perfectly kept and beautiful. There was a mix up with our room when we arrived as I paid extra for a walk out balcony and view - when I got to my room it was certainly the worst view in the place. When I spoke to someone on the phone she only offered to waive a resort fee, but my Husband spoke to a manager and he relocated us to the most phenomenal room. The hotel was fully committed, but they fixed the problem and made it right. The decor is stunning. The food is amazing! The staff is top notch. Its our new favorite resort by far. As we pull up to this hotel which is stunning a Valet attendant named Dylan H helped us out. Dylan opened our door and greeted us. We felt very relaxed and comfortable when he was unloading our bags for us as well as took the luggage cart in. He was very polite and very very professional with his job. He had a very great attitude for being so hot in the day. This young gentlemen was very helpful with things. I hope when we come back, he will still be working here. JW Marriott should appreciate him with the work ethic he has. Couldn t be anymore happy with our stay. Never have had such great service like Dylan served us.

The staff is really nice, the drinks were great and the food was yummy!! I highly recommend just relaxing in the lazy river or playing with the kids in the sand area.

My Dad came here for a business conference on telecommunications. The hotel, and Waterpark was absolutely gorgeous. The restaurant tastes amazing for him. The only thing he didn't like was how the water in the pools, and amenities was freezing cold. But again the great visit makes up for most of that.

We loved this place.. There was an issue with our reservations but they gave us a complimentary night to make it right. The waterpark is wonderful and we especially liked the little kid area that had water slides for the little ones..It's in a wonderful location only about 30 minutes from the riverwalk. It is a gorgeous resort with wonderful staff. The only thing I would change would be to add a small area for little kids to play that doesn't require them to be wet the whole time.. Maybe something like an indoor play place. I noticed most of the kids hanging out in the gym playing on the equipment, maybe a play area would resolve that issue.
