Place is so beautiful and fun for families. So much to do with Golf, swim, water park, live entertainment, Starbucks, conference rooms, game room, exercise facility and so much more. The family will have a blast on vacation!

Great fun for the family vacation, wish we could have stayed longer.

Room and amenities were awesome, pools, lazy river, tube shoots, smores, etc. Great place for kids and adults!
Only negative is the waiting for a room upon check-in, however we were given a resort card to identify ourselves so we could start using the resort immediately. The wait time was 2 hours but when we were informed our room was ready it actually interrupted our fun!
Parking could be an issue but we just used the valet service which was great as we could just text to get our vehicle and were notified when it was ready to pick up.
ALL of the employees were SUPER!
We will return!

The rooms are fantastic and every member of the staff I have seen has been friendly. Most greet me with a smile and a 'good morning' or equivalent.

The service was excellent, and it is an incredibly well furnished building.

The food was amazing! Everything was wonderful can t say enough great things about the food!!!

First class all the way at this full service resort. The FedEx center on site makes it perfect for a conference or convention!

I had a great time this weekend! I was their for TexMed 2018 (Texas Medical Association - TMA's annual business expo and CME) and I just had to stay an extra night and really enjoy the property and scenery. This is a great family place to bring your kids and enjoy the water park. They have great restaurants, including an awesome sports bar with great food! If you go here with family you almost don't need to leave the property unless you want to visit downtown San Antonio (45 minutes away).
The staff was great! Everyone from the bellhop to the front staff was awesome!

Rooms are dated and a bit beat up. Not very much space either. Expected more for being a JW Marriott.

I would rate The Gym, Food at restaurants and Spa a 5

Friendly staff, comfortable rooms and tons of activities for the family. They have a water park and lazy river, lawn games, smores, and movie by the pool. All included in your stay! We will be back!

Nice staff....
But for all the hype this hotel is kinda generic: shower leaks, the adult pool is too close to the kiddie pool, a lot of empty space with not much to do, pool towels were GROSS hard to find.... I can go on n on. The food was plain, while the prices were waaaaay overpriced. Disappointed

Stuff is great 35 minutes from downtown the Alamo it's not my local road so you can't walk anywhere

The JW Marriott is located in the northwest side of San Antonio and has a water park as part of it's attraction. This hotel is extremely family friendly and every person working there that I had the pleasure of speaking with, showed the utmost respect and customer service one could as for. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable and the cleaning staff was more than happy to assist with extra items we needed. There are so many side activities that the family can participate throughout the day and night. There really is no need tobtravel outside of the hotel to seek other entertainment.

Great location. Room was very nice. Customer service was very good. Grounds were great. Glad it was warm enough to use water slides, pool and lazy river it has.

This property is beautiful and the entire staff is amazing. The food was delicious. Best hospitality I have experienced in a while.

This was my first time to the JW Marriott and it will not be my last. I came to enjoy the pool with my Resort Pass. The pool staff at the check in were super friendly and explained the layout of the pool and now everything worked.

Dominic the pool server is amazing. Super attentive and helpful with taking orders and explaining the menu.

We came after the summer season so the resort was almost empty which made the day more enjoyable.

The Rivertop restaurant is nice and has many food and drink choices. The food all comes in sealed boxes for Covid.

The adult pool has an amazing view of the golf course.

It was a perfect daycation for relaxing. I can t wait to come back next summer.

Patrick at the front did an amazing job explaining everything this hotel offers the staff was just great. Patrick hands down made my stay unforgettable!!

The service and staff was great. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel art and decor is modern and contemporary. Overall excellent experience.

Excellent! Had a lovely four day getaway. The resort was only 25% full. Lots of Covid19 precautionary measures being employed. Wonderful change of scenery to celebrate our daughter's college graduation and our 30th Anniversary. Friendly staff. Would definitely visit again.

This place is a water park at a golf course at a hotel. Super fun for the kids with 3 water slide systems, a big lazy river, surprisingly good poolside food. Service was excellent, restaurants are pricey but having everything in one place, especially for kids, is awesome.

No complaints, facilities are nice, very large sprawling resort.

Exceptional service. My husband was staying here for business on his birthday. Since he was away from home I asked for a drink to be organised from the bar. The staff went out of their way to accommodate this, especially Shari, and even added extra touches.

Cibilo Moon breakfast is amazing. Everything was fresh, the service was great, and fairly priced for the quality.

Spectacular views and golf. If you love Texas Hill Country views, you will love the JW Marriott in San Antonio. Beautiful scenery. The golf course is top notch! We had a blast here on this PGA level course. The steak restaurant at the golf course is awesome! Food and the atmosphere is great! When eating your steak, you are offered a selection of knives to choose from. That was pretty neat. Never seen that before. Deserts were wonderful as well.

Awesome but expensive, most is well worth the money. The bar prices are ridiculous though. 15bux for a "well" margarita out of a machine?

The lazy pool is the best, love the spa area, for his and her's Body massages.. the rooms are quite, the bar area is the best to watch all ur sports needs..

Had a great stay at this hotel. Clean rooms and the place was quiet also for a very good night sleep experience. I would stay here again for sure.

We had a great time. The staff is great, the water park was a blast for us and the kids. The rooms were clean and well cared for. We've stayed here in the summer for the last couple years now, it did seem like the food this time did not quite live up to previous expectations. It was still a great experience overall.

What can I say, this place was awesome. Would have loved to play TPC San Antonio but the sports bar was good enough for me!

Great San Antonio resort, out of the downtown crowd. Excellent service and friendly staff. On site restaurants, great pool with lazy river. Spent July 4th weekend there lots of kid friendly activities.

Marriot resort was the best stay I have experience in my lifetimr. Why? Sure the rooms are exceptional, yes the golf course is beyond great... And the atmosphere is so relaxing....what sets it apart from any other hotel.. Customer service! I felt like I was the only guest at the hotel... From front desk... To just walking to the bar.... Every need was there... All I had to ask... Will come back for a personal visit!!!!

I stay here for a company conference every two years for 4 days. Helen served eggs this morning and she is the most delightful person I ve ever met working for a hotel. If I had a company, I d steal her away to work there. It s very rare to find a person with such a genuine built in sweet, thoughtful personality. The hotel is very nice but having someone like Helen takes it to a much higher level.

I came here for a corporate event. I've been here twice now. I've never had or will have an issue, the employees are the best I've ever seen. The location is beautiful.

I made a reservation for Mother's Day two months ago at 18 Oaks and was told by an employee that more than likely I would have a spot to take my parents and siblings next week for brunch, and I was told that I would get a phone call the week before to confirm the reservation. I never got a phone call, so when I called today at 18 oaks the supervisor told me that even though they promised us a spot, they will not be able to fulfill that promise to get us a reservation. Now a week before Mother's Day, I am scrambling to find another place to book a reservation to take my mom out for brunch. Thanks a lot for the heads up, JW Marriott.

The place is so family friendly and so much to do!!!! Such a great vacation spot!! 2 down falls, expensive food but there are good places near by and if you want to be comfortable at night, bring your own pillow!

Edit: Just went back again and this time with better weather it was better than last time. We got to try the water park and it's great even in December. Last time it was raining the whole time.

What an AMAZING stay. Took the family for a weekend just to get away and I left with a renewed passion in life and faith in humanity. The hotel is spacious and beautiful. But if you're in your room for anything other than sleep your missing out. Golf was awesome I've never enjoyed playing so bad in my life. The course is so beautifully and I had to hit at least one shot barefoot (dont tell lol). Next the waterpark. Never have I seen so many well behaved kids in one place. The sense of community is pretty shocking as kids just play with kids no matter age or race...it was pretty amazing. Parents of all races looking out for whoever's kids were in the area playing with other kids. Even the adults by themselves were good sports and like I said the sence of "community" was pretty cool. Food...GREAT! But let's talk about sunset. At around 7 when the s'more start people gather in the courtyard... relaxing, drinking , enjoying life. The kids again playing with whomever is near again cluster of kids every age and race just playing and enjoy The Texas Sundown. A truly magical time. This will be the only hotel I'll stay at now in S.A. and gives me much more incentive to take my wife to inlaws... A Complete Must.

We spent Memorial Day weekend/week here to celebrate our daughters 18th bday & it was FABULOUS! The resort grounds & golf courses are beautiful w/lovely views from the balconies. The rooms & bathrooms are nice (oversized tub & glass shower) but I do think they should have microwaves especially w/what you pay for them. The waterpark is so nice w/adult only infinity pool, great cabanas, awesome lazy river, fun water slides, kiddie areas , sandy beach area, bar & chairside food & beverage service. Activities for the kiddos, s'mores at night by the firepit, live band w/bbq, plenty of restaurants, Starbucks, everything you need for a great relaxing get-a-way. Impeccable service & staff, the lady who checked us in found out it was our daughters bday & when we came in after a day at SeaWorld she had sent up bday cheesecake (my daughter's fav). Above & Beyond! The only neg. at all was while on the lazy river my daughter saw a small snake & almost put her hand down on it but thankfully she noticed it & well everyone knew we were there by her scream but all was fine. We plan on many more getaways here. Can't wait to go bk!

We had a great experience at this hotel overall. Beautiful, spacious property with lots of activities and very well appointed, clean room. We were fortunate to receive a room on the 10th floor with a great view. Service at the hotel was generally friendly. Wonderful weekend!

We had a 2 night stay at this resort. We got upgraded to a bigger room with bigger balcony. The room was very comfy. Wish it had a microwave though.
Since we visited during winter time, there wasn't much activity to do. But there were a few that kept us busy: decorating holiday cookies, stuff your own bears, breakfast with santa. Staff are friendly and professional.
