Outstanding facility and staff in a beautiful setting.

The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. The food was fabulous at the Moon Resturaunt, defiantly 5 star worthy for exceptional service.

Its a nice hotel, but theres just so many people. The pool is basically impossible to enjoy because theres so many little kids running around, but thats not something the hotel can control.

Pretty nice location for an overnight stop. During our visit there were a lot of drunk folks running up and down the corridors late at night. Would have been nice if the hotel management took care of it.

The JW Marriott San Antonio was a great resort to stay at this summer. The hotel itself was a little bit dated, but the rooms were well cleaned. The on-site waterpark was also very fun; we enjoyed this amenity the most. Only half an hour away from Downtown San Antonio.

As a Platinum member of Marriott, I've seen my fair share of hotels. And as you can imagine, I've also seen my fair share of hotel bars. Christina left a last impression on me. She was humble, kind and interactive. I will definitely be going back to this particular JW Marriott again. I hope that next encounters I have there are just as pleasant.

Beautiful location although it is a fair trek from downtown San Antonio. Facilities are well planned.

Took the family for a staycation. Service overall was great. Not enough servers at the pool area to a accommodate the guest. I saw one server and he said he w as working an open to close. He took my credit card never came back with food or card It was hours before he returned I went to get my own food and realized I did not have my card. I know he was over whelmed so I never complained. Rooms are very nice but the fridge did not work I did report it but nothing was done to make it right. I had small kids and was planning on sticking the fridge for them. Water park fantastic! Grounds very relaxing and beautiful Housekeeping was on top of maintaining our room. I ensured I took care of her before we departed. Food was very good. There are also places to go to eat off the resort campus if you desire more of a variety and to fit everyone s budget. Will definitely be back !

The grounds are beautiful the valet was rude but other staff inside the hotel were helpful. It's a big resort with lots of amenities. And it is very pretty in hotel it's just so big

The rooms and service are impeccably done. Everything is quite professional. The only downside is that the tennis and basketball courts have had lighting at night.

By far the most family friendly hotel on the planet (no joke y'all). So typically, when you vacation with kids you have settle of a cut rate hotel or worry about offending other and the uppity hotels where they turn their nose do. Not here, we were welcomed from the start and they were prepared for the kids. The smile of my kids faces was worth a trillion bucks. Ton to do for everyone on of all ages. The staff was super friendly and extremely, extremely accommodating. Grace the lifeguard jumped to my reschedule when my 3 year old had a small boo boo. She help avoid what would have been the great meltdown of 2k19. One of the best parts of the trip was coming back to a clean room and hand written note from Maria the housekeeper. Every single morning, Maria was there with a goodmorning, do you need anything?
The Food? Excellent ! Typically the one thing that lacks at resorts. Not here, the food everywhere we went was great.

Shout out to the leadership team here, you all run a well oiled machine. Nothing lacks, everyone is well trained and on point and you can tell it starts at the top. You should start a leadership training program (I'll be the 1st to apply).

All in all, great, awesome, fabulous, amazing and every other positive adjective you can think off.

Absolutely love taking clients here to do engagements!! Always a lovely place and just a absolutely beautiful hotel and beautiful hill country!!

I had the pleasure of attending Farmers Topper Club which utilized the hotel and conference center. Top notch staff combined with elegant and well maintained rooms and grounds made for a memorable stay. Twenty minutes North of downtown San Antonio, the JW Marriott spares no expense in creating a statement both in architecture and location. Literally carved out of the hill country, the hotel rises like a sentinel tower as you approach from the South. The water park and golf course both boast a premier experience for the executive or family. Lastly, the little touches like the handwritten notes from housekeeping, the insistent Southern Hospitality of the concierge and the numerous open spaces fit for lounging, make for delightful variety that sets this venue apart from any other.

My visit to the JW Marriott was wonderful. The place is so soft and the service of the workers is incomparable.

Small rooms, great pool, but poor control of non guests at pool bringing in outside food, drink and loud music. Expected better.

We were there for Sunday brunch and had a lovely time. It's a beautiful property and the service and food were excellent.

Went in Jan and most the pools were closed for winter and under construction, although I would say that by the looks of it, it looks like a sweet pool area. Hotel itself is top notch. The lady that cleaned our room left a personal note, which was a nice touch! The restaurant we went to in the resort had amazing food!

Overpriced, and not really a whole lot for kids to do besides swim. I will say the staff is amazing. The terrible issue I had was when I checked out, I literally had an ant infestation inside and out of my car. I went to the drive through car wash, but still have yet to get them all out.

Great place for a family vacation. They have a lazy river that is clean, activities for kids to enjoy, water slides and the dunking slide. They have a TPC golf course as well for the avid golfer.

This place was amazing. The rooms are nice and the water park area is nice. It has a big pool and the longest lazy river I've ever seen. I would give it 5 stars if the food choices here were better. The pizza and drinks at the crooked branch were not the best and the other two restaurants have massive lines.

I'll be honest, for the price... I expected a free continental breakfast. But found out that absolutely nothing is free. Nonetheless, I'll rate it a 5 as all employees are friendly & helpful, the place is absolutely great. My son loved the Lazy River & other pools. Lots to do for family fun.

Awesome place! Or kids loved the pool and water park area! The place is top notch and very clean. It's a huge place, so bring good walking shoes. There are uber's always close by to run you into town if you need anything. I'd encourage you to go around November so it's not too hot in like July or August. We'd like to go back again in December maybe. The conference center is very large and has a great staff to put on events and the food is great. We'll hopefully be coming back in the near future.

Not worth the price in my opnion.. restaurants and food are limited. Not many activities as I thought for kids. Resort fees not included in room.. parking fee not included in room.. 40 dollar self parking fee?

This is a fabulous location for any event. Beautiful Wedding area, convention center, TPC Golf Courses and an enormous water park. Great views of the Texas Hill Country and the city.

Went to visit my cousin there. Nice rooms, spacious with patios. Very clean and orderly. Friendly staff and knowledgeable. Compliments to the evening staff. Well done.

This place is very beautiful. The layout is gorgeous. This is the best place for the entire family to come have fun and relax. The staff are very professional. Plenty of activity for the children, some are free and some you pay a fee. All in all a great place.

A Marriott that honors its name and the price. Great service, superb building and rooms. The food in the main restaurant is great.

Awesome hotel and all your needs are met. Great family water park. Beautiful hotel and well maintained. Awesome friendly staff. One tiny issue is self parking. Doves can be hard to find and a long uphill walk will follow. Other than that loved this hotel!

The room is nice. And the sports bar has pretty good food. The hotel has a nice pool and a golf course, but other than that, there's not a whole lot to do to make it a "resort".

Love the experience on a getaway location, very humble staff, clean atmosphere, beautiful landscapes and rooms, will be back again soon .

I dined at 18 Oaks for brunch. They have an elaborate spread and other great menu options, which are included in the price of brunch.

DO NOT STAY HERE if you value your time and money.

It's a pattern with this hotel to add additional charges to your credit card, then send you to one person after another when you are trying to resolve the issue.

It's extremely sad that the place is so beautiful, however the SCAM job that's taking place during a global pandemic is an egregious miscarriage of justice that should be considered criminal.

One of the best hotels, in San Antonio Texas .. It is beautiful all its first level facilities, very clean very large, it is super familiar if you have children, or if you also go to rest without family I recommend it widely, the hotel is beautiful ...

Beautiful venue for an outdoor wedding; however, the young man transporting us back (around 6 people, around 10pm) was going way too fast, especially turning! Literally hanging on so tight! Need to slow down, especially when elderly people on board...

Had requested room close to elevator but was placed 10 minutes away. Was in room calling front desk and 2 other people walked in. They were also rented the room, SCARY. They got it straightened out but was anxious remainder of stay. Best thing was the pillows. WOW, really loved them. Wish I could take them home.

Awesome place tucked into the hill country of San Antonio. Tons of stuff for the family to do, great dinner spot, and beautiful property. Our boys loved the water slides and other activities that we're kid friendly
