Great location above Pacific place and the MTR station. Good size rooms, the harbour view room had a great view of the fireworks for Chinese National holiday. Buffet breakfast had a a large variety of amazing food.
Great experience, the room is clean and tidy.
I love this place.
One of the best hotel to stay in Hong Kong. They have great executive lounge services as well
Tea buffet styles are more choices, soy swallowing big shrimps, green mouth is tender and big!
free fruit! great gym! awesome service.. the bathrooms are very lux
A 5-star hotel with 5-star service and 5-star price tag. Fantastic service and the bedding is wonderful. Multiple dining options as with many of the high end hotels on the island. Fairly convenient location close to Admiralty MTR station and directly connected to the Pacific Place shopping mall. While the lobby can be quite busy, the rooms themselves are generally quiet.
Absolutely fantastic as ever - the one and only place to stay in HK
The hotel is near by all the local modes of transportation. The Metro Station is a couple of blocks away through the underground passageway. There are buses and trams in front of the hotel. The hotel is connected to the Pacific Place Mall with shops, restaurants, market and movie theater. The hotel lobby is large with a large seating area. The room was medium size with a full bathtub and separate shower. The Internet speed was good and the staff was outstanding.
The hotel is very convenient for transportation, the design is also very luxurious and beautiful, the food is also very suitable for my taste, there is also a swimming pool, gym. I like it very much
The rooms are good, and the units facing the sea have better views, and can be recommended.
Really excellent hotel with top notch amenities and staff. Only downside is they spray strong perfume in the lobby area--even standing around a couple minutes is enough to give me a headache.
JW Cafe is in a good environment, the food selection is not too much, but it is all high-quality food, it is worth recommending
Marriott Hotel Super good food I have been in the country for more than seven years. I think it is the best food in Hong Kong. Super fresh service is good. I like it most.
Most Staff are friendly. The location is also perfect, with it sitting in a mall, and very near an MTR station.
The overall environment of the hotel is very good, and the service quality of all employees maintains a high level.
Located in the hub of the city, the transportation is convenient; the hotel's buffet dinner is both style and delicious, and the quality is not bad.
Nice hotel, rooms, restaurant. Breakfast far far too crowded. Both club - couldn't get in and downstairs. Maybe unlucky
Don t stay here if you use the gym, it s under renovation and the temporary gym is very sub standard, only 4 treadmills with people on them for more than 60 minutes as there are no signs asking guests to be respectful and some guests have no manners (why not more treadmills) and as they are using small guests rooms people are stretching and doing sit-ups in the hallway. C mon Marriott, fix it up, we know it s temporary however we are still paying full room rate! Just awful, Conrad next door is a better option!!!
Admiralty shop BV short sales, impolite, poor attitude, into a rotten Aberdeen, point to do sales ?? Buy with you three years of bad luck!
If anybody is trying to find good deals on hotels visit HoteIR ven. com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere!
Extremely clean! Staff was welcoming and accommodating - they planned well for the construction, and the lounge had great food & drink options. Also convenient for access to the MTR. The private car service was also great for trips around town and to/ from the airport.
Even the Bell boys service at the door is very good.
Great hotel. It is located in an excellent complex and is connected with a large mall and a metro station. Excellent staff and great service.
Comfortable seats at the Lounge, which provides afternoon tea buffet
Very nice hotel with a magnificent pool. The service and room are great.
friendly staff
excellent service
great location for mtr, bus, shopping
The view from the bar is epic. Drinks are spendy, but what would you expect?
One must try their lounge bar for food. Spread in the Salad bar is very good. Their are few other buffet options like Asian Bistro, Noodle Bar, Dessert too which one may like.
Nice hotel if you plan to stay on Hong Kong Island. Watch out for some of the Chinese security guards who monitor the executive lounge access.
Well appointed, rooms are due a refit so no socket beside the beds, no HDMI connection to the TV and a like.
But staff are great, especially the gym staff, very friendly and helpful
Convenient transportation, good food standards, and good service attitude!
Good location and great service. A little dated and can be difficult to get a taxi from. Otherwise a very good hotel.
The Marriott rooms are a fair size. The first room I was given has a king size bed with a lovely view.
The second trip four days later I was given an upgraded room with two queen beds and a city view.
The city view was staring at another glass building with mirrored windows. Why on earth does a single women traveling need two beds?
Once I got to the room and saw what the upgrade was I asked to be moved to
A king room, even if it was a view of another hotel window.
I m not sure what the upgrade was supposed to be or what kind of a sad marketing feature this front desk person was trained to offer.
An upgrade would have been to toss in the breakfast for a few days, since I did spend nine or ten days there.
I did fine at the Fish restaurant.
The outside patio is the only noteworthy part of it. Salmon was boring. Blackened on the skin (which I never eat) and bland and flavourless otherwise.
A boring salad on the side and a glass of wine and I think that was around uSD50.
Save your money.
I am delighted to find that some of the newer hotels I am staying in have mirrors above the desk area so women can groom
And dry hair and apply makeup whole seated. Maybe the Marriott company can take a note on this.
I find the bathroom floors in these older hotels impractical and slippery.
The breakfast buffet was pricey.
My hotel key had two days where it just didn t work and this requires me to go to the front desk which was inconvenient because I was on tight work deadlines.
I left a sandal in my room
When I left. I phoned. They told me nothing has been reported left in my room.
I knew it had been left there. The next day I phoned and they said, yes there has been a sandal found.
They were to leave it with my friend who was still
At the hotel. They didn t do this, even though the instructions were given precisely by email and telephone.
They messed
Up. The sandal is being sent to me. Let s see if it actually comes. I ll add a half a star.
My first room
Is depicted in the photo; I didn t bother with the second. Both the first and second visit were booked at the same
Time.
Everyone knows that the hotel is a first-class instigation.
While in HK, having a bath tub AND a shower in a bathroom is rare, everything is small in this city. But JW Mariott's standard rooms have both. Breakfast is generous and yummy, the facilities are pompous otherwise and when you arrive, your check in experience will reassure you that you are in one of the flagship locations when it comes to hospitality and service. The only downside here might be the slightly dated A/C which needs an upgrade, the air doesn't feel very fresh at times...
Afternoon tea buffet - reasonable price and comfortable environment
Rooms and service all excellent, no issues and would not hesitate to stay there again
We stayed at the JW for a month as we moved to Hong Kong. The staff is impeccable, the facilities are a little dated, but it's a timeless aging. The views are breathtaking if both the peak and the harbor. The location is in the heart of the island with shopping and transportation very convenient.
The pool has an underwater soundtrack. Excellent spot to relax on your travels through HK.
Great stay, no complaints! All perfect, and personal to your little care.
Very good location:
You can take a bus from the HK Airport Express Station (and back) for free (H1 bus). The MTR is also very close. The hotel is connected to a mall (Pacific Place). We had dinner at the JW Cafe (all you can eat buffet, with a wide variety and fresh seafood.. delicious!). The room is decent with comfortable beds and pillows. You can easily set the room temperature to your liking. There is a TV and a small fridge. Bathroom is nice and clean. There is no free mobile phone (Cordis Hotel in Mongkok lends a local mobile), so you might want to get a tourist SIM card at the airport. They provide one adapter in the room in case your device charger is not compatible with their wall outlet, but you could probably ask for more.
Great hotel with transit station within walking distance.
Food was great but the waiter who served the wine was a bit inexperienced.
My all-time favorite hotel - can't beat its location and the exec lounge has amazing food
Nice hotel. Lounge was quite cold in terms of AC. Service, facilities and amenities were good. Location ok. Pool area small but clean. Slow service at the bar not very attentive wait staff.
