Jurys Inn Croydon Review

Good price / performance ratio, coffee machine in the room, ironing station, TV and Wi-Fi, near the train station, up-and-coming district.

Great place to stay!
Good localisation, only 15-20 mins from London Victoria via train, 15 mins from Gatwick. Nice, newly refurbished rooms. Excellent service and good food in restaurant.

Great classy service. The rooms are neat and tidy. I was surprised with how spacious the rooms were, especially considering the cheap price.

I was checked in earlier as came in early due to an early international flight, I was so tired and the lady at the front desk was nice enough to check me in as soon as the room was available

Expensive, but isn't everything in Croydon. Worked well as a meeting room for a training presentation.

What a place! Staff so happy and polite! Restaurant quiet but with great Food selection on Breakfast. You can find everything that you wish for in the bar, drought beer, gin, costa coffee! Dinner Manager very attentive - Really Enjoyable stay!

Great location. Close to transport, shops and restaurants. Nice lobby and bar. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are a good size. Bathrooms are okay but could be updated. Overall a great place to stay.

Breakfast was always on time and the staff were lovely, the room was perfect and bed was incredibly comfortable.

Only problem I faced once I got to the hotel is I had to have I'd my card was not enough I thought I never I had nothing with me thankfully my partner had my licence in his wallet. No onsite parking but they do have a contract with local car park wasnt great as i have a broken foot and avoid walking

Didn't have booked room available on late arrival. I did call ahead to let them know. Tried to put me up in a hotel on the other side of Croydon. I cancelled and booked elsewhere last minute.

Jury's Inn is one of the best hotels I have stayed while working being in London.
I have stayed in many other hotels here in London / East Croydon but none could match the service and the class that is offered by the Jury's Inn. Although it is a not a 4/5 star hotel as yet with regards to the customer service it can definitely be rated as a 5 star in my opinion.
Staff are really friendly and always willing to make sure they maintain high standards of customer satisfaction whilst maintaining a very high degree of professionalism.
Here are the positives:
- The newly refurbished rooms have been designed well and of really high class, interiors are really done up extremely well with the customer in mind. The bathroom have been done designed well too and have utilize the space effectively. All the executive rooms have Sky TV as well and you can get all Sky Sports channels including Formula 1, which is unique to all the other hotels.
- The breakfast is fabulous. From all the hotels I have stayed whilst in London Jury's Inn in East Croydon has the best breakfast ever.
- I have also had dinner in the restaurant and the dinner menu is really well organized and thought through. Food is really good too.

I have stayed in Jury's Inn for nearly 6 weeks consecutively and I really like this hotel. I hope they do even better in future.
Negatives:
Not a lot to say honestly apart from the fact that Jury's Inn does not have their own car park but you can park your car in the nearby NCP car park and it is discounted for the guests in Jury's Inn.

Nice hotel, right in front of a train station and 20min from London by train!

Had an issue with my TV while staying in the hotel. Very young but very knowledgeable manager come to my room straight after when I report a problem with the reception desk. He could not fix all the channels but he did help me to set up my laptop with wifi connection so could use it in my room. When asked where is the best place to eat he offered dinner in the hotel restaurant which I found very cosy with a great variety of food. Amazing hotel service more places like this!

I had a very plesant stay at Jurys Inn Croydon. The staff were friendly and helpful. I checked in for one night ahead of a big meeting and hed dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. The food was nice and of a reasonable quality (except the powdered mash). The room was clean and had everything I needed. My only complaint would be that the bath was really shallow which made bathing into a quite unsatisfying experience.

A nice place only a short walk from East croydon station.

Food in the restaurant was excellent and staff were even better big thank you to Santan he was very attentive and made our evening very enjoyable. Hotel bedroom was clean and hotel is in a great area. Manager David chatted about future plans for the hotel ground floor which sounds to be quiet a project, hopefully we will get a chance to come back and see it. Love our stay from start to finish.

Went for an enquiry for rooms available other valentines. Service was great desk persons were very honest about the best ways to get reduce priced rooms and help me a whole bunch more

Hosted a 2 week assessment centre here and the service was great! Especially, from Stan! He's polite, quick and always greets with a smile.

Ok for the price. Food not the best, rooms are dated, main lobby is great including the hotel bar. All in all, due to the location, cleanness and good price - quality ratio, is a ok place to choose.

It is a great hotel as it is the one that me and my family go to every year (especially when it is my birthday or at Christmas time). Situated near to the local shopping centre of the Whitgift. Good views of the Brighton Mainline from the room (as I am a rail enthusiast). Otherwise, there are shops and local transport connections (such as Bus and Trams).

Staff are what makes this place. Very friendly team that keep me coming back. Breakfast is decent. Refurb is a blessing but could have invested a bit more in the bathrooms. Rates quite volatile.

Nice and tidy hotel. Nice spacious rooms with handy usb connections to charge the telephone. Unfortunately there are also minuses. The bath is very low and can be filled halfway up, then it is already empty. No success.
Of the 3 nights we stayed there, the restaurant was reserved 2 evenings for private parties. If you wanted to dine there, you could only do that in the bar at the bar, but with the loud disco music and drunk guests. Moreover, the music was clearly audible in the room on the 4th floor. I found that very annoying.
2 of the 3 lifts did not work, or were stuck with regularity. Only on the 3rd day did a technician come. That is difficult with such a large hotel.
English breakfast, but well cared for.
Housekeeping is great, fresh towels and made beds every day.

Everything is good about it only not a very Nice neightbourhood

You can check in from 3 pm, and they will charge you extra 20 pounds if you like to check in earlier, even if the hotel is half empty. No kindness. When I was told that, I subsequently cancelled my booking and booked with the neighbouring hotel which would not charge for early check in provided they have rooms available.

Spacious rooms. Warm shower. Very good location and a good price.

Comfortable, quiet, and spacious room with a perfectly adequate bathroom. Hairdryer was useless but I always bring my own anyway. Within easy walking distance of the train station and local shops and amenities. No teabags in the room though!

We had 2 excellent nights. spacious and pleasant room, very clean, very good bedding.
The little problem would be the sound of the outside, not very well soundproofed.
Hotel very well located in relation to the train station, very easy to access.

What the children have enjoyed is the very rich breakfast and the bath.

First Class Hotel! Smooth check-in and room easy to find. Bar with a good variety of drinks, and dinner menu makes this place perfect to few days stopover. Train Station only 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Lexi In the bar - provided great service as well.

Useless door in the middle of the room. Bed is uncomfortable to the point that I woke up with back pain. Dirty stained towel in room looked like there was blood was on it; Hence, not enough attention to details paid in cleaning the room, standards are simply mediocre at best.

Good spacious rooms, clean with good facilities for the price. Only thing that really let's the hotel down is the breakfast. Quality of sausages and bacon etc is poor.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, pleasant helpful staff, good location for access by public transport to central London and a wide selection for breakfast. Great value for money. You also get a free drink voucher! on arrival

First night was terrible due to neighbour room was having a loud fight and smoking heavily. I did notify the staff that went up and told them to be more silent, but that only helped for 20 minutes and then they were fighting loud again and smoking a lot. Due to how the ventilation is set up between connecting rooms there were a lot of airflow from the other room into my room that came from the gap under the door that connects the rooms. I asked for a non connecting room on a different floor for the rest of my stay, and that solved the problem form my two remaining nights. However, the air quality in the rooms seems to be a bit bad in the first place due to the carpet floor that was a bit old and dirty. The pressure in the shower is fine but the amount of water is very low, which means it takes ages to wash all the soap away. The location of the hotel is however good. it's a short few minutes walk to the train station that can take you straight to central London. And there is also really good shops and other transportation options nearby the hotell.

Very clean. Good beds (1 king size bed, one bed). Room fully equipped. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Good location next to the station. Excellent price quality ( 110 incl breakfast). Highly recommended

We stayed at the Jurys Inn . rooms were great , we had a few meals and the food was very good and service was outstanding .. we will be going back the next time were we are in London.a special thanks to David, Andrea , Alex .

Hotel really nice 4 out of 5 for that and breakfast but Sarah at reception was a star an 11 out of 10 if ever there was! Helped with directions to all the sights I'd come specifically to see and did it with both a warmth and smile that will bring us back again!!!

A well located comfortable hotel. Gives you everything you need for a short stay. I was not too impressed with the shower as the settings seemed to be high shower cold water low shower (hardly any water) hot.

The stay in Croydon was great. The hotel was and is very suitable. From the hotel you can quickly reach the train station, restaurants and shops. The staff was very friendly and I really liked the room. Shortcoming: There are no toilet brushes ....

The staff were all amazing and have been for the 6 months I've been here for work, especially Michelle and Rosita who have been more than accommodating since I got her and I can't thank them enough... Thanks for a great stay I will be back and would highly recommend!!
