It is a great hotel as it is the one that me and my family go to every year (especially when it is my birthday or at Christmas time). Situated near to the local shopping centre of the Whitgift. Good views of the Brighton Mainline from the room (as I am a rail enthusiast). Otherwise, there are shops and local transport connections (such as Bus and Trams).
