Jumer's Casino & Hotel Reviews

Nice clean rooms, variety of slot machines, good buffet. Also has a decent fitness center and pool area. Downside to this visit, there were very loud kids in a room across the hall that were left unattended because the adult(s) left to go to the casino.

The slots are very tight.....not a good place to go

The prome rib was fantastic! Now if we can get the wait staff to fill glasses...

It was wonderful so clean no smoking allowed I love it if more casinos would follow this Rule and make a place for smokers they would have more business. Older people with money don't like to sit in a casino full of smoke

You walk in to try and enjoy some gambling to bad the slots are so tight your money's gone in minutes. Decided to eat a little food at the buffet. $20 a person the food should be descent you would think. NOT AT ALL. Most of it was blah. The shrimp was really tough and the brats tasted like feet. Doubt I'll ever be back!!

The worst possible experience this tiime. NOT a safe place for GLBTQ guests. My husband, of less than a month, and I were in lobby saying goodbye as he left to drive to Chicago. When we hugged giving each other a peck on the lips good bye , a member of the wedding party, that rented the event center , had come out of the bathroom nearby and seen our goodbye gesture of love. He called us disgusting queers then attempted to goad me into an altercation. When I went to security, I was told Jumers did not have a policy preventing people, who rented their facilities, from discriminating against or harassing other guests based on sexual orientation. They advised me, in order to be safe in the hotel, I was to avoid that area! One has to pass that area to gain access to the patio, pool, gym, cafe, and the elevators to the rooms. I was also told if I had any idea how much they had paid to rent the facilities, I would understand why they weren't going to take any effective action against them. I've always heard money can't buy you love; I guess at Jumers, if you rent the event center you can buy the right to hate. The following review from our last visit makes me wonder if QLBTQ guests are wanted at Jumers at all. Here it is :Buffet food is poor quality and seating does not fit capacity. It is always extremely understaffed. If it wasn't comped I'd ask for a refund. Only worth standing in line for almost an hour because it was paid for in comps. Image player workers who hand out "free gifts" are rude. I've been treated better by carnival workers who's prizes are almost of the same quality. A couple of the desk clerks at the hotel act as if the price of the comped rooms are being deducted from their paychecks. They have a very resentful and demeaning attitude toward me and my fiance.

Jumer's is a Great casino! Best atmosphere, the staff is very friendly! A non-smoking building makes it more enjoyable and thats why i go everyday!

We are once a month regulars and the past few months have been disappointing. We came the weekend of 11/22/13 and stayed two nights. We ordered room service the first night and the girl was new and did not take are full information and an hour later we called down. They explained and the chef Shawn Timmerman made our orders fresh and delivered right away with a food comp which was not expected. This new chef was excellent, the food was outstanding! We then found out he was the chef at the DJ's steakhouse as well, so with our voucher we decided to give it a try. We were treated very well and service was over the top. We then ordered some steaks and then ran into Adam from VIP and he apologized for our experience and said that he was going to take care of what our voucher didn't. Once again over the top! We then had Shawn the Chef come to our table to make sure we were happy with the food from the previous night and what we had so far and once again we couldn't even lie about a problem. The steaks, food, service, and VIP this time has really improved to where I will not hesitate to recommend and stay again as I have reservations for December already booked! Great job guys and please keep Shawn the Chef and Adam from VIP they are above and beyond customer service!

Not bad if your 90+. No good restaurant. stayed here for a work trip, wifi was completely useless. Had to tether to my mobile to get email service on my laptop. Casino was mainly old people sleeping at the penny slots. All the blackjack dealers were sitting together inbetween the empty tables. Went to the center TV bar, asked for a Sam Adams, got a Blue Moon and was told "thats what i asked for". That kind of sums up my experience.

Decent enough place. Drinks are really small and service is a bit slow. Nice casino though.

We talked about staying here for 10 years, how I wish we had ! They really treat you very well here. Get a player's card, you'll get offers to come and stay free. The casino was great, had a nice time at the bar. Very friendly bar help ! Always appreciate good service when you're trying to have a good time. Check in was smooth, no complaints, not friendly either; which is not to say rude. They were efficient and knowledgeable. The players club service was amazing ! We visited with those ladies for 15 minutes since it wasn't busy! So funny and welcoming! We'll be back:-)

You are under staffed at the service desk. Your kiosks should never be down since you are open 24 hours. My whole experience here was terrible games are way too tight. I have been coming to Jumers for years and use to come and have a good night of fun but those days are over.

The buffet is great, lot's of variety. Service was good, considering the staff needed to be increased. Cazino play was realy fun. Lots of diffedent slots. Come out and give them a try. You will not be dissappointed.

My family and I had to attend the funeral of my grandmother and stayed at the hotel as it was the closest one. We paid over $1,000 to stay here and will NEVER return. The precautions taken for COVID-19 are 100% necessary; however, my family and I do not gamble and were not there to go to the casino. They only have one door open for both hotel and casino guests. This means that to get to your hotel room, you have to wait in a rope line out the door to have them check your I.D. and scan your temperature before they force you to go in and then out of the casino to count their numbers. Every single security guard told us something different and most could not understand that we didn t want to go to the casino, we just wanted to go to our hotel room. Why would they need to count us if we weren t there to gamble? They already know how many people have booked their hotel. It makes absolutely no sense unless they are illegally counting us as patrons of their casino. I cannot comment on the casino experience, but this company needs to get it together and make sure all their employees are on the same page. They also need to separate their hotel and casino lines as there are people who just need to get to their hotel rooms. My family works in the hospitality industry and this is not how you run a consumer-focused business. I understand that these are unprecedented times, but you should have a MUCH better plan before opening your hotel. When we talked to the front desk about this, they said that the hospitality company that owns Jumers, Delaware North in NY, are the ones we will have to talk to. I am still trying to get in contact with them to file an official complaint. Remember we spent over $1,000 to stay at their hotel to have to argue with security every single time we left and came back in (it was a new security guard almost every time). I cannot comment on the casino, but avoid the hotel at all costs.

Clean and non smoking. Beds are very uncomfortable and sheets about crunch when you turn over. Food is good.

Only visited the casino for a couple of hours, but the service was incredible and the dealers were friendly as well!

I only went into the casino area. We had a lot of fun, and all of the employees made a point to say hello if we crossed paths.

Came for the rulette tables. We were told before booking a room that they had roulette and that the casino was open almost all night. Arrived late around midnight after a concert, and all the roulette tables were closed. There were plenty of vacant blackjack tables open, but we were told they wouldn t re-open any roulette until the morning. We stay the night and morning comes along. The tables were still closed. They told us to come back around noon and they would be open. That wasn t the case. At noon we were informed that they may open around 2 if they do at all. There were 4 of us trying to play and we never got to. After that I tried playing slots for the hell of it, and the machine took my money. I pressed the service button, the light was blinking, I sat there for 10 minutes waiting for help, but nobody came. I found an employee and they informed me that I would have to wait longer since they were busy fixing other machines. I took the loss and left. The hotel was fine, but the casino not so much. If your looking for just a place to sleep, I have no complaints, but don t waste your time in the casino.

Keep driving right on by. Plenty of casinos to choose from that have decent food. Machines that pay once in a while. And oh yeah people who are happy to be at work. When you go gambling you take a chance on losing your money. But you should at least be having a good time and created well by associates working. Next time you go in if you go in. look around nobody smiles nobody Cares if you are there or not. You think if they were taking your money they would be smiling.

The room was amazing. The front desk staff was very short and rude. Place looks very nice though.

I have been staying in this hotel from almost a week and this was the second time my card key stopped working. The first time was no problem, let the guy know at the desk and he gave me a key no issue. The second time I was being helped by Lillian at the front desk check in. I let her know the problem and provided my ID. She said my name isn't on the list and that she won't give me a key. I said it's my mom's name (we share the same last name) and even had my mom on the phone and she refused to talk to her. I had to get her to call the hotel herself even though I already had her on the phone. Lilian was extremely rude through the whole process even going as far as whispering to the next desk agent about me and laughing with a coworker while I'm trying to get the hell back in my room. Absolute blatant display of discourteous disrespect. She does not need to be anywhere near a customer service position. This is a good hotel otherwise but this experience made me never want to come back here.

Just stopped by for the buffet. It closes at 2pm and reopens at 4pm. I just made it before they closed and the food was great. Huge variety and not outrageously expensive. I will be back.

Nice and clean. Lots of games. Only issue is mixed drinks small and expensive.

Buffet is terribly slow. Food not very good. Also we stayed the night at the hotel (decided to ride the bike trails in the area) and left my watch and watch box by mistake. sent me the watch back (when I called) but they kept the box. Not very happy with this level of service.

Nice rooms although they were a little smaller than compatible venues. Pool water felt nice but way too hot outside of the water for an indoor area

Nice casino hotel, but overpriced (especially on the weekend) unless you're getting a discount/comp. Limited non-buffet breakfast options in the morning, but buffet was reasonably-priced (did not eat there, but it looked like a nice buffet). Good location for activities in the Quad Cities, but not much available really close to the hotel (nothing within walking distance).

The room was nice. The food at the diner was great.

Well, we agree with a previous review, we drive 4 hours from Wisconsin just for the smoke free casino. Comps are good for us, don"t go to casinos expecting to win., but it"s is nice once in a while. Took a ride to the nearby Iowa casino on 80, and remembered why we go to Jumers. Had to change clothes due to smokey smell. Nuf said!

Everyone I met from the slots department were extremely nice. Pleasant atmosphere, casino looks great and is kept clean.

This buffet is the best buffet in town at any type of place. This place is also definitely the best casino buffet in the region. They have daily features like seafood and prime rib with tons of local food. They have a gelato bar, yes! a gelato bar on the buffet.
You have to enter through the casino; so it's 21 and up. This place is super classy and very reasonably priced.

Went for drinks and gaming. There was no Pai Gow anymore, which was disappointing. However, the gaming area is very nice, and the bar service was good. Being completely no smoking is a huge plus for us!

The Best Bet would be on the buffet table, I gamble enough on the highways Driving by the RULES of the ROAD !

Well I was sent 3 different complementary hotel stays for the 24th, 25th & 26th of May. Called to reserve these rooms & was told they are not honoring them for such & such excuses he gave me. So pretty much I was sent fake & false advertisement coupons & hopes. I have spent a great amount of money there & am very offended and would give a rating of 0 but they wont let me.. I believe I am owed these rooms and unless they honor these rooms sent to ME, I will not spend another penny there nor will I recommend it to others.

Full buffet with many good options. Clean establishment, friendly employees.
