JRML Associates Review

JRML did a stellar job helping us maintain the exterior integrity of our 1918 home. They were able to secure superior materials and labor within our budget, oversaw the job from start to finish and were a delight to work with. We completely redid the exterior of the home with cedar shake, replaced the guttering, as well as gave the porch a facelift with a durable concrete surface. The job was conducted in a timely manner and Jon always made sure that the subcontractors showed up on time and cleaned up the work space at the end of each day. Jon's attention to detail and Monique's sense of color and design gave us the home we always wanted.

JRML designed a house for us, and later designed a kitchen for us. Our goal was to build a 3,500 sf house that took advantage of the view, sun and maximized the value of the property. We had only one or two small change orders, the plans were complete and detailed. We built at the peak of the market, and when we decided to sell four years later, we sold it without putting it on the market and it still came out ahead. ( 814 Close Ave. VB) They later designed a kitchen in our new house, we decided to live in the house during construction, which started to wear on us in the final weeks of the remodel. I probably got a little testy with John and Monique. They hung in there with us. John & Monique both have the gift of design. Great plans, and a beautiful end result.

Jon and Monique Rizzo are a great team. In 2002, they completely renovated our kitchen, dining room, and den. Their design ideas are excellent and they challenge the homeowner to go outside the ordinary. I have also used them to redesign our living room which is now a pool (pool table) room. Jon did some lighting updates for us and Monique suggested the lighting fixtures. My wife desparately want to do our bathrooms, and we will surely use JRML for that when the time comes.

The staff of JRML were wonderful to work with from beginning to end, with a great eye for modern design. Jon was especially attentive to details, and was very responsive to our wants and needs. Money very well spent!

I have worked withe JRML for both my personal and professional spaces. The quality of this team's work is outstanding. Monique's eye for design is fantastic and Jon's ability to solve the architectural issues is extremely professional. I also appreciate the fact that they move FAST, they are comfortable working with the internet and are sensitive to any budget. Best of all they are simply nice and friendly people. EVERYONE compliments me on my new spaces and I always highly recommend this dynamic duo.

It was a pleasure working with Monique. She transformed "my room" from a mix-match of furnishings, photos and souvenirs into a sublime retreat with floating shelves, tasteful displays and splashes of color. The window treatment was beyond my imagination; a gentle swag of sheer material softened the room and added a spark of glamour.

The electrician, painter and delivery service people were all punctual, careful and personable. I highly recommend Monique and JRML for creative design delivered by professionals.
