I must agree with most reviewers. BS charges. Unfriendly people (I have met a few that where nice) inconsiderate, insensitive and inconvenient payment options

Horrible Service and Questionable Ethics. Signed up for online pay, they stopped sending monthly statements in the mail and "claimed" I was notified in the terms and conditions. I also did not received any email notifications that my bill is due. what kind of company bills you and doesn't notify you of your balance. Also said I would have to deenroll to receive paper statements. this is so backwards

Notoriously confused and inept. Well-known for being slow and archaic. Despised by millions, loved by none. Hopefully in a few years this company is out of business

Called about a question regarding some BS from these people, quickly got transferred to "Elliot" who conveniently wasn't at his desk and it went straight to voice mail. So I called back twice and conveniently nobody was answering my calls. So I called using a different number and what do you know, the same lady answered the phone again right away... only to be transferred back to Elliot.
This is why I need to move away from Pittsburgh! This place SUCKS!

TOOK 1 MONTH AND 4 DAYS FOR THEM TO CASH MY BOROUGH TAX CHECK AND COULD NT GET AHOLD OF THEM ON THE PHONE

The staff is always pleasant and helpful. If you call ahead, they'll have your paperwork or documents ready when you arrive!

Very bed experience customer service not helpful!!!

I have never experienced such poor customer service skills. The first representative transferred me before i could even finish my sentence. The female representative I spoke with sounded incredibly miserable. She provided me with the information I asked for and then promptly hung up without saying another word. As someone who has been in customer service for 15 years, this was disgraceful.

Well if you go to their website, it hasn't been updated or modernized at all. They charge you to pay online too. They control the sewage bill somehow. After calling them about their charges, they simply tell you it's calculated off the water bill and past sewage bills. They couldn't explain how they came up with the billing rate.

You have to love a utility company closing before standard business hours. The close at 430, and calling between 12pm and 130pm they are on lunch and the phones haven't been answered anytime I've tried calling them. As well calling them in general is rather difficult and an unfriendly experience.

If there was only a way to let them be a tax service and not a utility i hope it happens. It seems they put more effort in being unhelpful than their actual business.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The worst and I hate that my borough uses them for bills.

John Airesman was a great help to me when I didn't understand something and my employer's W2 was unclear to me. Great Help! He even filled out my taxes for my last residency and filed my current for me, all at no cost to me!

I've never heard of an accounting company with such remedial math skills. It must be on purpose in order to scam more money from PA residents.

Received a notice that I had a delinquent balance for my sewage bill. I pay all of my bills on time every month and have never missed a payment so I found it odd. After speaking to the very passive customer service rep, I was informed that they have mailed it every month and that it's my responsibility to pay. I informed her that I have never seen this bill and will gladly pay it right now.

They can't take payment over the phone, she told me about online billing and to try the website but there's a 2.5% fee for it, and that I could stop in their offices 8-430 M-F. All viable options unless you're being told your water will get shut off. So I now I have to write a check for a balance I was unaware of plus a penalty fee for a bill Ive never seen, and then drive to an office and put it in a mailbox and HOPE they process it before my water gets turned off.

This is the 2nd bad experience I've had with this company for such a simple bill. It astounds me that it's my fault when I've never had notice of anything before this, and when I try to reconcile it that they're unwilling to help.

Thankfully I had a bored, tired, passive representative to explain this to me. Otherwise I would be really frustrated.... Oh wait, I am. Wouldn't recommend them for anything.

I contacted Jordan Tax Services about the status of my local tax return (Dormont) and outstanding documents, and was able to speak to someone within moments. I was given a direct email address to send my information to and received a response to my email within 20 minutes. Thanks for your help, Tris!

Will only accept 150.00 payments?!!! Then don't offer the service or start lowering bills goofs!

Rude and by the way it isn t a federal building as per Kelly told me that works there . Five year old need to use restroom but was told no . Townships need to go back to township collectors .

The system for paying sewage bills in Dormant is an embarrassment and it should be illegal. The municipality contracts out it's sewage services to another company that contracts out it's fee collection to Jordan Tax Services. To pay my bill online I had to select the "delinquent" sewage payment option. I am not delinquent on my bill. I called their office and the employee I spoke with couldn't do anything about my complaint. I have never had such a headache to pay $11.30. This is ridiculous.

This place is collecting for Westview water. Been getting hit with extra service fees from them, large bills for sewage with an extra $100 tacked onto it for processing. Bills being sent are not in a timely manner! They hit you in one lump sum half a mortgage or more!

I worked with Jordan Airesman today and he helped / resolved my tax issue immediately. He was very helpful and attentive. Thank you Jordan!

Terrible business process and questionable ethics. I mailed my borough tax on June 19th. A couple of days later, I got a reminder letter saying don t forget to pay for the tax before end of June to avoid 10% late penalty.

Worried about the mail got lost, I drove to their office and deposited another check on a weekend. Then I called on the following Monday and explained the situation. The gentleman whom I spoke to promised to take care of that.

Then I found they got both checks and cashed both on my bank statement. I called to ask and a lady said: They will go through refund and you ll get a refund check. When? Let me put you through their department.

Sure enough, it went to a voice mail

I've had to call for some assistance a few times and they have always been courteous and helpful. When I've had a question, they've been able to quickly provide the answers needed. Processing times have always been pretty quick too.

This is the worst company I've ever dealt with. Working for military overseas for several years, they can't get my info right. It is October, I submitted my taxes for refund in April. Still waiting and they don't respond.
This is what happens when government services are resourced to outside concerns.
Money is their profit, service is most certainly not.

Responsive when you are paying. Play ping-pong when you ask questions.

I had to amend my tax return because I messed something up. The amended return could not be submitted online. The Jordan Tax Service website also looks like garbage.

This company could not even keep accurate records of earned income taxes paid from a company to return a refund in a timely manner. It is now 4 years later, and i am still fighting for my refund that I am owed.

I would give 0 stars, but that is not an option.

A rip-off agent that charges fee even for e-check; county does not do that.

Nightmarish customer service. If you don't like your job, quit. Don't take it out on hapless clients that are trying to resolve issues. So glad my municipality does not use this joke of a tax service. I wouldn't source these folks to collect anything for me if they were the last place on the planet. Website is pretty unusable as well.

This company is a disgrace. I had such a difficult time getting competent help to pay a bill online or via telephone. Their answer was mail in a check. Why don't I just have a pigeon fly it to them for crying out loud! I can go on but I've already wasted more energy on this review than I should have.

These people must be the direct spawn of Satan...They violate federal and state - Usury, Racketeering and Monopoly laws...and use extortionary practices to steal money off hard working citizens. There's a special place in Hell waiting for these people.

Horrible. Customer service is atrocious and lazy. Only care about maintaining school and borough contracts.

I have had to deal with Jordan Tax Service over the years, both for clients and personally and they are just a nightmare. They never heard of the word transparency and have quite the employee turnover, as I guess that once you develop any sort of a conscience, you are out of there. Expect very little help and don't try to make sense out of any of their calculations and they will offer no explanation. I have dealt with others and they are by far the worst. Privatizing tax collection is and will be always a bad ideal and they are proof of it, as you get what you pay for.

When inquiring about a sewage rate discount for filling a swimming pool the rude representative screamed into the phone NO discount! How do you charge for sewage when water in a pool remains in an enclosed space and not pumped down a drain? It goes off your water meter. I have never encountered a bigger group of morons than these snake oil salesmen. Sewage is a charge for water removal, also known as water down the drain. So yes please charge me for 20k gallons of water that will remain in my pool for years. How do they swindle local municipalities into using such a vindictive and cut throat company like this?!

Unbelievably inefficient/incompetent. After selling a house, they wait until the next quarterly bill cycle before settling the account refunding overpayment. That means they sit on your money for several months.

A series of charges from Penalty, interest, service expense and Fees all added on to a sewage bill. When I contacted Jordan Tax Service about how excessive these charges were, I was told that it is split between the Municipality, alcosan, and Jordan Tax service , so it needs to be excessive

I guarantee the five star ratings of this place were planted by Jordan tax service. No one on the planet got five star service at this place. These people are ruthless pieces of excrement, human garbage. Trust all the one star ratings this place should be shut down. I paid my taxes in cash at the counter, they said they never received it, without notifying me they put a lien on my house. Now my only choice is to pay it again but of course now it s double because of their fees. They are completely robbing me without a gun. It was from 2017, and because I did not keep their receipt I can t prove anything. I checked my bank account for the with drawl and they told me that doesn t prove anything. CROOKS!!!!!
They also took a year to notify me that they put a lien on my property.

Collectively the most inept group of people employed by a corrupt company.

I called to get details about my bill. I spoke with Mike who kept asking why I was asking for more details. By the end he was using profanity and screaming into the phone. I had to report the incident to the township. I sincerely hope my township finds another vendor to handle collections in the future. I'll be voting for change until that happens.
