Woodlands Orthodontic Group Review

I have braces through them and my favorite staff member is Christall. She is so sweet and she is very precise with my braces. Id recommend them to anybody, but if you are getting you braces on see Christall because they will be perfect!!

Dr. Mardaga and the staff have been such a blessing to our kids and they have gone out of their way to make the braces experience positive. We have 6 kids, so after seeing what has happened with our oldest 2, we will definitely be back.

Experience is worth everything! My son had a situation with his teeth that s a bit rare Dr. Mardaga had only seen one other in his years of practice. With that he s been able to correct his problem! I felt secure in knowing he was in good hands! The staff is Wonderful too!

Dr. Mardaga was great. I'm in college out of state and while I was home needed a repair on my braces. He got me in quickly and was helpful. Given the circumstances, he was incredibly accommodating.

Dr Mardaga and staff are very cordial and treat patients (children and adults) with respect and care. The facility took all the necessary precautions to assure patients of a safe visit in these times. There was a wash area, plenty of sanitizers and wipes, and social distancing in seating and # of patients inside facility, staff had PPE and gloves, and shields/masks, and he even gave me a better mask than the one I had on. We appreciate that!

Dr. Jeff Mardaga was the 1st orthodontist in The Woodlands when he opened his practice in 1979. He has always been committed to providing quality orthodontics while having fun. He knows that orthodontics is an experience that is meant to enhance the quality of your life and he wants to make sure that you get the best services available.

Dr. Mardaga's staff is highly trained, dedicated and motivated. Each staff member strives to get to know each patient while helping them enjoy their time while in orthodontic treatment.

The office is designed to comfort patients as well as parents. There is a video arcade for patients to play while waiting for their appointment as well as an upstairs lounge for parents that need to get work done.

Overall, The Woodlands Orthodontic Group strives at giving those a smile that will last a lifetime.

Mardaga Orthodontics has been professional and courteous throughout my daughter s braces experience. Korri is always helpful and kind when making an appointment. Delana is always there to welcome her with a smile. We are so glad we chose Dr. Mardaga as our daughter s orthodontist. His whole team is fantastic!! We highly recommend him.

My daughter was referred to Dr. Mardaga by her pedi dentist back in February, when we got the all clear to get braces. Dr. Mardaga s office got right in that week. On the first visit we did pictures, xrays, exam, and went over pricing. We decided to proceed the next week, since the pricing and payment plan were affordable. They have a great game room for kids, my daughter was allowed to pick out a hoodie or T-shirt and wearing it to every visit earns them a reward. They even have a fully stocked mini fridge ( water & juice) in the waiting room. Right after the braces went on, Covid-19 shut down happened. The first follow up visit had to be cancelled and weren t quite sure when the office would reopen. My daughter ended up breaking a bracket a few days later, so i called and ended up being connected directly to Dr. Mardaga. He had us come in to the closed office and met us there. Not only did he repair the broken bracket, he went ahead and made all adjustments and even changed her colors since we were already there. Last week was another appointment, amidst the pandemic. Parents are asked to wait outside, and kiddos are allowed in. They were very accommodating and helpful thru the process. We now have 3 visits under our belt, and couldn t be happier. I highly recommend.

Best Orthodontist in the Woodlands!!! I have had two kids go through his practice and a third about to start. His depth of knowledge and experience is unsurpassed. I feel very confident that he has seen it all and know how to handle anything. My kids treatment was complicated and I am very happy with the results. To top it off he has a super friendly staff and a great payment plan.

The Woodlands Orthodontic Group is great. The staff is so friendly and they are really flexible. Dr. Maradaga does a great job explaining everything. My favorite assistant is Christall! She cares a lot about her work and makes sure there are no wires sticking out and pays attention to detail! Cory (sp?) is also very helpful up front. When I call with any questions or concerns, she immediately asks Dr. Maradaga or one of the assistants and answers me promptly. Thank you Woodlands Orthodontic Group for excellent service! Did I mention they love kids?! :)

My son had braces, an expander, and a herpst put in (a lot of hardware in his mouth) and they were so encouraging and helpful. The office staff is amazing as well. This is my second child to have braces with Dr. Mardaga and we have had great experiences!

My mother lost her job and therefore dental insurance she couldn't afford afford a copay, so the nice Dr Jeff Mardaga ripped off my braces. This was 20 years ago. I have permanent groves on my teeth from the aggressive removal.

Dr Mardaga and his staff have taken such great care of all of our kiddos. When all are done we will have had four with completed treatment. The office has also been great during emergency appointment and last minute changes in our schedule. Can't recommend them enough!

Long read but it s worth it. I promise! My permanent bottom retainer came off after being in my mouth for over 8 years. I was a patient of Dr. LeCrone s back in the day. I called the orthodontist who took over his practice (Hunter Family Ortho) to see if they d be able to help me. Receptionist was extremely rude and said they couldn t get me in for over a week. I called Hughes & Cozad who said they could see me in a week... for FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS to do a consulation just to glue on my old retainer (five hundred doesn t even get me a new one...?) Called Mardaga, they got me an Appt first thing next day. $150 bucks! For a brand new retainer... no consultation needed. Christall was extremely nice, friendly and understanding of my need to get this fixed (before my wedding in fact!) She took her time. She explained every single thing she was doing and why. She did even a better job than LeCrone did when I first got my retainer in. Don t waste your time with any other ortho office in The Woodlands/Spring. This is where you need to be going.

We love everyone at Dr. Mardaga s!! The quality, the kindness, and the proficiency he has established are very rare. Dr. Mardaga is kind and extremely patient with even the youngest of my children. I myself was his patient at 40 years old, and because of the experience I had, 4 of my 7 children have received their braces from Dr. Mardaga. He and his staff have provided my family with truly excellent service!

Wonderful office with caring employees and great orthodontic care

My two sons had their braces done with DR.Mardaga and Dr.Mouritsen and we plan on continuing using them not only for our two other children but as well as for my husband! They are very knowledgable and thorough. The personnel are very friendly and always great us with a warm smile. The atmosphere is welcoming and for those that can't get enough video games, they have a seperate room full of video games to pass the time!

Dr. Mardaga's office is great! Everything about the whole experience for my 14 year old was positive. Dr. Mardaga is personable and experienced and answered any questions my son or I had. The entire staff is friendly, welcoming and professional. There were no unexpected bills or surprises at the end, only an excellent result. My son's teeth look perfect!! I would highly recommend Mardaga Orthodontics. Extra shout out to Christall for helping us over the last hurdle and getting things finished and out the door with the retainer in time for our vacation!

We chose the Woodlands Orthodontics Group after visiting 2 other orthodontists in the area and getting estimates on cost and opinions on the work that needed to be done. Since I have twins, I knew this was going to be an investment. TWOG had a reasonable payment plan, friendly office staff and came highly recommended from several friends. Now that we have had several visits there we are super pleased with them! I had an orthodontic incident with my retainer while visiting family in The Woodlands and called at least 6 different orthodontist offices. Mardaga was the only office that squeezed me into the schedule the day of without being a current patient. They had the friendliest staff when I arrived and was very clean with all the covid-19 protocols. Krystal took care of me, and I ve never had a retainer fix done so quickly and well done. At the end, I was expecting to pay and because it was a minor fix they told me it was complimentary. No one does that anymore!!

I just moved here from Alabama and I was looking for an Orthodontist. Well, I came across The Woodlands Orthodontic Group and called and made an appointment with a nice young lady over the phone. When I arrived to my appointment I was greeted professionally and felt welcomed! I especially wanted to give a shout out to Delana! Being a new patient Delana went through all the details and didn't rush me to make my decision. She was kind and just a wonderful person!

I was received and guided through every step by Eleanor/Lena who has the kindest manner! and Dr. Mardaga explained me and my daughter something very difficult (which is why a crossbite forms) in a very simple,gentle way so we could understand! You can tell that the people who work here enjoy what they do! I feel very special to be able to have my daughter Madeline treated in this cozy office!

Dr Mardaga has worked on both of my daughters teeth, and we are so pleased with their beautiful smiles. He pays attention to detail and strives to get each patients teeth perfect. My biggest compliment is how accommodating their office is. We moved 3 hrs away in the middle of my daughter s treatment, and we have been driving back and forth for months. We showed up today for a regular appointment, and we decided last minute to have her braces removed (her teeth look gorgeous). His office went out of their way to not only take the braces off and make impressions for her upper and lower retainers, but they squeezed her back in this afternoon to attach her permanent lower retainer...AND to add to the awesomeness, they made sure her upper retainer was ready to go home with us THE SAME DAY! I can not say enough nice things about Dr. Mardaga and all of his staff. They are amazing!

We transferred from Mexico and did not have any issues transferring care to the group. They've been great from just having to put in a bracket a few years ago while we were living abroad to now having us as patients. Always friendly, always on time, always good.

We have been HIGHLY IMPRESSED with Dr. Mardaga and his staff! The atmosphere is so chill and we feel like family! They always speak to my 12 year old like he matters and listen to any questions he has. We love having Christall as our assistant for the day. She is super sweet, very thorough, and always asks if there were any issues with his braces. If there is a pokey wire or anything rubbing they immediately remedy it and show my son how to put wax or sooth during visits. We can not say enough good about this experience. We re about half way through our first child s braces and know exactly where we ll be in a few years with our youngest. She loves to come to his appointments also because they have a great arcade to play in. She loves that it s free and she bounce from game to game.

Every once in awhile there is a doctor/dentist that goes above and beyond, this is certainly the case with Dr. Mardega. Prior high dose radiation to treat Hodgkins disease has left me with many dental challenges, both cosmetically and functionally. I am blessed to have survived this illness many years ago however the answers to my dental complications are few and far between. I needed a highly educated, smart and experienced professional willing to listen to my challenges and think outside the box with me to explore finding some solutions or buying a little more time for medical research to catch up with us long term cancer survivors!

Dr. Mardega stepped up to the plate and has done just that ...... he has been the orthodontist for my son, my son's girlfriend but he certainly wasn't obligated to consult with me however I am so grateful that he has given me his invaluable input and thoughts for my unusual treatment needs in the future. He is up to date on the latest techniques, materials etc. intertwining this information with a long established practice providing his orthodontia experience and expertise.

Doctor Mardaga and his team have been very helpful and caring throughout my braces visit. From bleeding to having to get a new retainer, the clinic was very caring and welcoming. Dr. Mardaga and staff were just super! I would highly recommend them for anyone considering braces. Our daughter was a patient of Dr. M for two years and each and every visit was great. They got us in quickly, made sure the work was done right and answered any and all questions we had. My daughter s permanent retainer fell out this morning. I take her to another orthodontist who was not in today because of the heavy rain overnight. I needed her retainer glued back in right away since her braces had just been removed this week and I did not want them shifting over the holiday weekend. I called Dr. Mardaga's office to see if he could glue it back in. The receptionist was very kind and courteous over the phone and was very accommodating to get us in this morning even though we are not patients there. The technician and Dr, Mardaga himself were extremely kind and explained what they would do before they glued her retainer back in. Upon checking out, they did not even charge me. I think they understood I was in a bind. I highly recommend this practice. Thank you so much Dr. Mardaga and staff for helping us out today!:)

Wow impressed! Called yesterday late afternoon, very help full friendly staff! I had a problem with my permanent retainer after a teeth cleaning. I was never an established patient , my permanent retainer was placed in Europe. Yet, they took time to see me first thing this morning and fixed the (minor) problem with my retainer free of charge. They did a great job. Thank you guys so much!!

Dr. Mardaga's office is comfortable and welcoming. The kids love the game room, teeth brushing station, and snacks. The staff is very patient with all my questions and with walking us through the process of orthodontia. Dr. Mardaga is knowledgeable and has great "chairside" manner. He came recommended by our pediatric dentist and several friends.

Only downside is that orthodontia in general is expensive, but this was the case with the other offices we visited or called as well. There are limited days/hours at the Rayford location we use, but it is conveniently nearby.

Overall, we are very pleased with Dr. Mardaga and his office -- We are glad we came here!

Our son had issues with a very small jaw space and adult teeth growing in behind each other. We never thought braces alone could solve this, but Dr Mardaga worked magic with him! We never had to get any adult teeth extracted! His jaw expanded perfectly and his smile looks amazing!

We have only been to the office a few times for consultation but WOW. They are absolutely welcoming. I had to bring my four year old along, and both Dr. Mardaga and Delana were so kind to her and not the least bit annoyed. We will be getting my step-daughter's braces on in the next month or so and I will update the review if need be, but I have a feeling it will be nothing but positive!

Truly, the best orthodontist in The Woodlands.

I can t say enough good things about Dr. Mardaga. I first came here in 1985 and my teeth are still perfect. Now I come here with my own children. My oldest daughter finished with braces earlier this year and her teeth are perfect as well!! I have the other kiddo in treatment as well and they have been very accommodating and the staff was and is just fabulous! Dr Mardaga is extremely conservative and that s important in the world we live in today!
