Quick notes: arrive at least 30-45 min. early to avoid parking and building entry line congestion. Be prepaired to cough up a lot of money if you plan to buy alcohol. Seating is tight in lower level(114)
Golden one center didn't impress me. I had my first visit December 28th at the 3:30pm showing of the Trans Siberian Orchestra. No fault of golden one center but finding parking was not easy. We were ushered into "event parking" by parking attendants only to find out it was full and backed up. We were stuck in the parking structure as they tried to get all the cars backed out. After backing out of the parking structure and driving around downtown we found street parking about 3/4 miles away. We walked towards the center only to find that all the construction in the area forced us to walk all over the place just to find a way to the building. Trying to get through the line to get inside was terrible! There was less of any lines and more of a mosh pit to get to the metal detectors. The staff seemed mostly confused on how to form an optimal entry line. There were outside grounds speakers playing background sound effects. The effects were water droplets. I mention this because I heard many people talk about the sound made them want to use a bathroom to pee. Perhaps Golden One Center could find another sound effect that doesn't induce people trapped in line to feel the need to go to the bathroom. The building and grounds are very nice as everything is new. Once inside I needed a drink! I ordered a double rum and coke. It came in a plastic Cup slightly smaller than a typical red solo cup and cost $30.00 plus tip. NOTE TO GOLDEN ONE CENTER VENDORS: That is most likely the last time I will buy alcohol from the golden one center. Lower your prices and maybe I'll start spending money again. DON'T BE GREEDY. The seating in the lower level(114) was comfortable while sitting but if anyone needs to walk past to get to their seat it wasn't possible to just swing your legs to the side, it required us to fully stand and back up. Other than that the Trans Siberian Orchestra was the saving grace of the night. Their show had to make up for Golden one center experience.

The seating in the stadium are to small, the floor is to narrow to pass another ticket holder, an accident waiting to happen especially someone with a toddler. No wonder people get upset with other ticket holders. My feet were glued to the floor literally (not cleaned correctly) they can do a better job in that area.

This is t a five star level arena for sports, food, frink and entertainment. There VIP section is next level in food and drink. This arena sets the standard in service. I am a huge fan of this arena.

Great venue that is only going to get better as DOCO matures. Lots of interesting food choices (expensive but not too bad for an arena). Only negative is that the top section (seats in the 200) are high and steep. If you are prone to vertigo, sit in the 100s.

The seating here is difficult if you have any fear of heights. Paid 100 dollars a ticket and seats made me and my friends nauseous and just plain sick. Couldn't wait to get down stairs and out for intermission. Did not return to our seats because we were too sick. It made me dizzy and I ended up passing out. Center staff were nice and helpful, but we were unable to enjoy the show and left.

Attended a reception there. Spacious, comfortable, sofas and chairs were set up on the floor, drinks and food was served on the floor. Perhaps 3000 people present. Audio video system worked well and there were plenty of ushers to assist us. Plenty of restrooms available too. It's an impressive well maintained and supported open air facility. There is a nose bleed section that l would avoid is my only critique.

It was amazing! We had such a great time I can't tell you. Be prepared if you drink it's pricey. Margarita small little plastic cup $14.00 Corona in a cup was $13.00. other than that the Center is huge lots of food vendors to choose from. All the employees were very nice and extremely helpful. We both had a great time. Will go back definitely.

Went to see a concert, arrived 45 min early and waiting in line for hour and a half, missing part of the show because they funneled everyone into a few lines and took forever.. During the concert some patrons in front of us got extremely druk and were causing issues with the people around them when we informed the staff they told us it wasn't their problem and we should have informed them before they got too drunk... and if we had a problem we should just leave. So we did.

Love the Golden 1 Center - but try to sit not in 200's section - way too steep, less legroom, no cup holders. Sitting in 100's is fabulous - can really see the game instead of watching screen for players'/performers' faces. Lots of food options and gift shops on all floors. Ladies bathrooms were also plentiful. Security was inconsistent - no sure if performers set the rules because no binoculars were allowed for Bruno Mars. Acoustics was great.

CONS: Finding parking is difficult in the area around the arena. The seating is tight and difficult to get in and out of seating with other people in the row. I expected the food prices to be be steep. But not to be served the grossest food I've ever been served. If the food were edible i would be raving about the choices offered. But the chicken & pizza were both a joke.
PROS: the concert sound was amazing! In spite of the cramped quarters, there isn't a bad seat in the house. It's an intimate arena with great viewing. Staff was professional. And security had a great presence & was quick to act

$30 to park??? Two mediocre cheeseburgers. Both come with fries. Can t substitute garlic fries, so you end up with three orders of fries. Two mediocre shakes. $54.00!!!! Poor acoustics. Will never attend a concert there again. Eric Church? Amazing!

Awesome place! Security for games is extra uptight about posters, however. I brought a poster that says, "Bring Back Jimmer" and they said it was "speaking against management". If that's so, then how come I've seen posters saying to bring back other players at the arena?

Nice clean place. Seat are small, no leg room. I'm 5'8 and thought there was no room. If your 6ft + good luck. You have to get up every time some needs to get by. Trust me at first not a big deal. But after 20+ times, food in your lap it gets old real fast. Probably won't go back not my thing.
