Well I am an Uber driver and my experience with the Golden 1 center is just that it's a buzzing busy bee hive of activity whenever there's an event there and it's swarming with activity and sometimes streets are blocked off nearby making driving hard. But the building itself and surroundings are gorgeous. It is definitely the new highlight of the entire Sacramento area.
Nice center! Expensive food prices and i paid $25 to park. Ouch!
Seating in 200 level is awful. Very uncomfortable. Bad for anybody with any knee issues.
Food is overpriced for the size, and my hot dog had a stale bun.
The reason why I'm giving them three stars is because it's big it's nice and has a lot of things inside but however the food and drinks on way overpriced so it makes it not economically stable for people in the community really come out and support the event because it's too high priced parking is 2 high price plus the seating is a little tight even when you purchase handicap seating they don't explain to you that not all handicapped is real seating so I think that's a little stupid
Very cool arena in the heart of downtown. Interesting integration into the city. Only complaint is leg room in the seats.
I have been to the Oakland Oracale, the UC Berkeley Greek Theatre, the Rose Bowl, the Levi's Stadium and the Golden 1 Center. I must say that the Golden 1 Center was the most impressive venue I've been to. The building was impeccably clean, felt luxurious and the lighting was incredible. My only complaint is that the people around me and myself had a hard time hearing what the artists were saying and we were on the floor.
Went to a few concerts already and all enjoyable. Easy to find parking and traffic was not as bad as I expected. Sound was amazing for such a big arena and its a great artist landscape, very creative all around.
Great venue, whether it's for a Kings game or a concert. I recommend using public transportation, however it isn't the worst I've experienced when it comes to parking and leaving.
The only knock against that I have is that I am extremely disappointed in the food offered. For a state of the art stadium I expected much better. Part of the experience of going to a ballgame for me is always the food, and the food here sucks.
Can't believe we paid money for this new arena. The seating is super steep and the seats are small. The best thing is the nachos they sell.
Dont get floor seats unless your in the first 1/3 of the rows. You cant see anything.
Have been to this venu twice. Great food and drink options. If going for a concert, don't get anything higher than 4th row of upper deck. Otherwise the echo is so bad, you can't even recognize your favorite songs.
Love how open everything looks and that it dosent take to long to grab drinks and snacks. Lightning its really cool too

I have a great time here all the time, the best is when I take my kids to the events as this year I will be going again for the Monster Jams!!! So ready but its always a good visit here.

Great arena. Perfect for basketball games; OK for events. Parking is a bit difficult so take public transportation or a Lyft. All food is super expensive, plan accordingly.
Really nice venue. The layout was great. I thought it would be more cramped, but there are plenty of exits for when the event is over and it's really close to several parking lots that make it easy to get out. There seemed to be plenty of restrooms available and tons of vendor stands.
The only real knock I have against this place is how expensive everything was, but that is kind of expected. Also I attended a concert here where in addition to having a ticket for the Floor (GA), you had to go stand in another line to get a wristband before they would let you onto the floor. But upon arriving in the line, they had run out of wristbands, so I had to wait in line for nothing and almost missed the start of the show... Bad planning on their part.

Okay the Golden 1 Center is awesome however it is very steep up top so if you're afraid of heights like I am make sure you sit in the bowl..... Meaning the lower level.
Convenient location with close parking. All the things you would expect in an arena. Seats are small and close together and food is crazy expensive, but that's to be expected in an arena, too. There's nothing about Golden 1 Center that strikes me as particularly spectacular but it's clean and can accommodate a very large crowd and performers that put on elaborate shows. I saw TSO with their pyrotechnics there twice and there was more than enough room for them to safely use their gadgets.
$6 for literally a cup of tap water with no water fountains on the main floor. Absolutely ridiculous. I can t believe they charge to drink water. Never coming back.
Ladie gave me bad seat there was lots of seat avaible closer to floor but i got by wall last row

Overpriced tickets and food. Parking is horrendous. Location not ideal in the middle of downtown. Very cramped venue seating. Concert was great, but for all the hoopla that went on, I still prefer Arco arena/sleep train center. The art structure outside does not represent Sacramento or California at all. I think whoever planned all this did it poorly.
Brand new building with horrible selection of food. What the heck happened? Put something good on the menu! Take a look at other places and see how they do it. Your only choices at this place are hot dogs nachos and pizza.

The lofts are really nice, but the food service is incredibly expensive. Parking is plentiful, at $10-15 for a Saturday matinee Disney on Ice show.
Great game, even if the Kings lost. Arena is nice but narrow.
Easily a better to watch a basketball game vs Oracle. Only problem is that the Kings are the other team..LOL Warriors fans make the 2 hour drive when you can't afford seats at the new SF arena, you won't be disappointed. Micro Brews were $10. I tried the doughnut chicken sandwich, pretty interesting, spicy and sweet.
One of the best. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes for an adult beverage, the food is good and the staff are very nice and helpful. Bathrooms are clean and the feel of the place is definitely electrifying.

My wife and I took our son to see Disney on Ice, and it was the first time being in the DoCo area. So many places down there, and definitely room for live music! I need to see how to go about doing that. Gonna have to hang down there and take some photos.
Beautifully designed Arena. Open and airy with views of the court from anywhere inside.
Fantastic, great view even though I had to hike to my seat. Can't wait to see a concert there.
