Tonight was the first evening of service from the kitchen this year. It was delivered hot, directly to the yacht by friendly staff. I had the Halibut. It was cooked to perfection, accompanied with a stunning salsa that brought the flavours over the top. Rice and a crisp salad were the perfect accompaniments. This meal raised the bar for Halibut dinners. I'll be ordering it again! (I wonder if Bruce will share his recipe?)

I had not been to Blind Channel Resort since 1991. But this year, US boaters not being able to travel in Canadian waters for reason of Covid-19, we decided to go for 2 nights. We stayed 3 because we were impressed and we felt safe. They take the virus seriously. Social distancing is followed as it should be.
Beyond that, staff is very friendly, you can drop off recyclable cans and bottles. And they have excellent UV treated water.
Will try the restaurant next time. I hear the goulash is excellent.

We had a lovely visit to blind channel with the whole family(baby and toddler)! We enjoyed the beautiful scenery, the friendly staff, the delicious food at the restaurant and the comfortable accommodations in the cabin. Making it a yearly tradition! Always sad to leave! Until next time! Thanks again

Stunning. Amazing. One of the few places on the planet that is still this natural, pristine and beautiful. The air is the freshest I've ever breathed. We saw wildlife everywhere, including a family of killer whales playing together off the shore. The hike with our children to 1000 year old old-growth trees was awe-inspiring. I've travelled my whole life and have never seen anything like it. We will be back again and again.... THANK YOU for such a meaningful, perfect experience!

A real gem. Blind Channel has so much to offer with store, fuel dock, accommodation, restaurant, and mooring. The property is beautifully kept and everyone there is helpful and wonderful.

We have stayed there a few times and it is always a highlight of our adventures.

In early June, we spent 3 nights on our boat with our family, including three young grandsons. The boys had a great time, hiking through the forest to the big old cedar and fishing off the dock. Food was excellent. I highly recommend the halibut. Kudos to Eliot and his staff for keeping up the high standards during these trying times. We already look forward to our next visit.

Very pricey marina, with very large yachts. Small marina, out in the boonies. Seems like the big guys don't want to anchor out, so definitely dominate the place. People were quiet, so that was nice. To have dinner in the restaurant would cost a minimum of $75 for 2, having the least expensive entree, with nothing else.

We had an amazing wildlife tour in the water taxi on the way out; hosted by the amazing naturist Jess. Stayed overnight in a wonderful cabin with absolutely breathtaking views. Full service restaurant, general store and post office on site. So glad we found this hidden gem of a resort. Don't think twice. Come visit this place!

This is a wonderful combination! It's a marina, resort with cabin rentals, restaurant, store, post office, liquor store, laundromat, lunch bar, breakfast seating or take out, walking trails, water taxi for travel or tours. My goodness it's a village on an island filled with friendly helpful people. I WILL be back often!

We had a wonderful family visit to Blind Chanel. Eliot and his team arranged a private all inclusive experience, and went above and beyond in the details and thoughtfulness. The food was extremely good, the accommodations were clean and comfortable, and overall BC is located perfectly. We will absolutely go back!

Have yet to experience this place in the summer, but fueling up our bour here was a good experience. It's easy to get in and out of and it looks like a great place to visit in the summer. I can't wait to see.

Beautifully located cabins, stunning scenery. Excellent food and service. Cabins are spacious and very clean. Comfortable beds. It is a great spot to spend a few days or to have a break in your boating.

Pretty good store (as marina groceries go), excellent restaurant (assuming you enjoy German cuisine, which we did), nice owners who have operated the place for 40- plus years, so good local knowledge! Shortcomings are that wifi is almost non existent. ( If you can't deliver any signal, just don't offer it) and dock hands during this year's visit were too sparse and in some cases too inexperienced to be helpful. With the strong current in Blind Channel, as a single- handing boater, a dock hand is pretty crucial.

This is an amazing place: 4 decades of travelling the globe and this is now the one place I want to return to above all else. Eliot and his amazing team are true discrete hosts that ensued we had the perfect vacation. The scenery is stunning, the wildlife amazing, and we had good weather too. The resort facilities are just what we expected and Bruce's cuisine was much better than we had expected too!

Amazing view, great little cabin, very comfortable beds. A glass of wine or a beer on the front veranda looking at the water with a steak on the supplied BBQ.....what could be better. Fully stocked store at very reasonable prices. Staff is amazing and super friendly.

It's the beginning of February, there is an outflow pushing 5 to 6 foot high waves in the waters encircling the area. Here we are tied snuggly to the dock at Blind Channel Resort looking out onto almost completely flat water. We won't be leaving here until the wind out there stops. I'm so happy to be docked securely and not to be out in the middle of all that weather.

This place has everything you need! We headed up from Vancouver for the long weekend and really enjoyed our stay. We got picked up in Campbell River by the Blind Channel Water Taxi (~45min boat ride) and flew back on Coril Air (~15min flight). Went on a very nice hike to see an enormous 1,000 year old tree and went fishing and caught a massive ling cod in less than 10min. Place has a gas station, general store, restaurant, the whole works! Beds and cabins were clean and tidy place. Definitely going back there.
