Johnny Carino's Review

First time at Carino's. Lunch menu was excellent. And, it was buy one lunch, get one free. The warm bread and dipping oil was a great starter. Loved the pasta.

Not bad, not my favorite. They have some decent pizzas and Italian staples, but it's never really one of my first choices. About the middle of the road as far as Italian restaurants go.

Great Atmosphere! Friendly staff and excellent food

Very Disappointing, poor service - went for lunch and ordered sandwiches and soup and it took over an hour to get our food. Sandwiches were cold and soup was not ready when asked for refills. If you offer soup and salad as a lunch special, I would expect you to actually have soup.

I visited Carinos restaurant and I had a wonderful experience specially from Geronimo. He gave us an excellent service. The food was delicious and definitely I will come back again to enjoy this beautiful place. Thank you Carinos!!!

I would say go over to Niki's Pizza, about 150 yards northeast. You'll get better food, cheaper. Their eggplant parmesan and Chicken Murphy are prretty good (at Niki's).

Happy hour is on point food was great service was fast.

Ordered marinara, got Alfredo. Waitress knocked over water glasses 3 times. Ordered two taramisus one to go, and the one to go was clearly half the size as the other one, waitress also grinded the cheese all over in my lap so funny, but yeah will never ever go back again.

The food was OK the service was alright the drinks very weak I wouldn't go back there anymore,

Had pecan crusted chicken salad. Awesome. Service was slow and the restaurant was NOT busy.

I have been a patron of Carino's for a long, long time. I still feel like they are a better deal, and better food than 99% of the other Italian restaurants out there. You can spend a lot more, and get a little. Or you can just go here and be very satisfied.

My food was really bad like really bad it tasted old,really plain just so bad.Dont recommend this go to Olive Garden it s way better they don t give you old food,I was excited for this meal but welp it was bad and disappointing.Definitly not the place to eat when you crave chicken Alfredo

Went for the $10 deal today and they got my order wrong a couple times plus other things happened...also was rly bland. But other that that I guess it was worth it considering the price. Didn't have very good service but at least he was trying and was nice. Wouldn't particularly go back to that exact location. Might try another considering I haven't been there in like 15 years or so.

The food was very good.
My server Kendyl is so sweet and attentive you never have to ask for anything she already knows if you need a refill, or a box ext. I requested her table when I came in tonight because she was so good last time.
She really deserves a raise in my opinion.

While the service was really good, the food was just awful. The flavors were just bad, and after trying the lasagna, spaghetti and something else, the only recommendation I can make is to go somewhere else. I don't even think it is the cooks fault; I think it is cheap ingredients.

We waited about 15 minutes after being seated before a server came to our table. I ordered a water and my wife ordered a Mexican Martini. About 5 minutes later he brought 2 glasses of water. About 10 minutes later he served a lady and her daughter across from us who came in after us bringing them bread and drinks. We still were waiting on the martini. When asked about it he told us he was waiting for his manager to bring more martini glasses as they ran out of martini glasses. (How does a bar run out of martini glasses especially at 2:00 in the afternoon on a Saturday. He finally brought my wife 2 martinis and said he brought 2 because they didn t have the big martini glasses. Really?)
After 45 minutes we still have no bread and have not been able to order. The lady across from us noticed the server going into the restroom several times after leaving our tables. We asked for a manager and he told us they had already changed our server and offered us a discount on our meal and he would buy our dessert. This was a nice gesture. When we ordered dessert, the lemon cake the manager came back and told us he was only buying one dessert which was not a big deal to us but thought it kind of strange. The new server, James was very good.

Fast and friendly staff. Also a very clean establishment. I like to come in for the affordable daily specials available at the bar. Happy hour prices on drinks and food. Top notch food at a convenient price point. Overall an enjoyable experience.

Staff is always friendly and food is always served in a timely manner and warm.

Not very many customers because of New Years. Staff were outstanding and the food was fantastic. Felt bad they had to work but grateful for them working because we ate. Thank you.

Good food and great service but overpriced in my opinion.

Call in to go instead of using the website (which forces you to use door dash). Door dash charged me then their system went down before sending my order. The shift manger (maybe named Jeronimo?) was very helpful and worked it all out

Kendall is cool. Very nice place. I noticed staff are friends and work well together. Good food too.

I love the house salad. As a vegetarian, I can only get the minestrone soup. It isn't bad, but it's not something I would get if I had other vegetarian soup options. I haven't had the pasta in a while, but I remember it being good.

If ya enjoy being ignored and staring at menus for 20 minutes then here is where ya want to be...we left to eat somewhere else with great service and food

This place is fantastic! The service is excellent and the food is amazing. They are able to make accommodations to food as needed and always have a great time here!

Went for their 25 cent wings at the bar on Thursday. Good all day happy hour at the bar. Not a very good beer selection. Only one real craft beer, Love Street which is pretty similar to their lower priced miller/bud lites so not worth the price. Weird sizing/prices on drafts. Probably best to avoid the beer.

The wings were delicious. Nice and crispy. They charge almost twice as much to toss them in sauce though...which I found kinda weird. The crushed red pepper seasoning wasn't very hot but still good. The barbq seasoning tasted like shawarma which was different but still pretty good. Limit is 10 wings per person which is all you'd need. Not bad for $2.50! Blue cheese dressing is 75 cents extra.

Wonder food! Monday and Tuesday specials are worth it. Taylor always takes good care of us!

My boss and his wife took my wife and I here for dinner on my birthday. The Corona virus makes for a not so optimal experience eating out. I was the only one that didn't complain.

We Enjoyed our Vday this year at Johnny carinos. The wait wasn t to long, but we ll worth it. The Food didn t take to long and bartender Tara was lovely as well.

This place is spectacular, very good customer service, and delicious food

My wife found a dead fly in her water! And the waiter just shrugged it off saying "Oh it must have just fell in there" and took the water away.
Waited far too long for the food and when we first went in it wasn't even busy. Far too overpriced for the size you get too.
Would not recommend anyone to eat here.

Food Rica, chido atmosphere, this restaurant is every mother

Solid italian food for a chain restraunt. Itll never be as good as homemade, but it's great all the same.

The mozzarella sticks are fantastic, service is always polite, the restraunt is clean, and in general it's a nice place to sit and have dinner.

I've been several times, and will continue to go when I'm in the mood for some Italian goodness.

The baguette is always warm and fresh. The food portions are great for the price. Every time I go, the waiters are very personable. Is worth the wait for good food!!!

They changed the spaghetti sauce. Not even close to what was a decent marinara. You can buy better in a jar. I won't be returning.

This place used to be nice, good food, kind employees.. now all the servers seems they're overwhelmed, not care for anything, foods are overly seasoned, dry... Just bad. I don't know what happened but would not consider going back soon.

Great Italian place.. There spicy chicken & shrimp never ceases to satisfy.

I have never left a negative review and I do realize that this is not a high end restaurant, but I also think that you can expect some sort of standard when your paying an establishment to eat there. It took 15 mins before the snippy bartender even acknowledge us to take our orders. When our food finally arrived it was cold and tasteless! There was no taste to it at all, and once we flag down our waiter which took a while, he was quite rude. We didn't even box our food, we paid our bill and left! Horrible service, bad food!

Sat at the bar for dinner. Tia/Tina was the bartender. Excellent service. Excellent knowledge of menu with great suggestions. Stteak was awesome and Fries were perfectly done...crunchy outside and creamy inside . Definitely going back

I used to come here twice a week for almost a full year. Even after several years of not going, it hasn't changed much. Lasagna is tasty as always.

Pasta was not as good as expected. Service was good.

Poor service under staffed lots of dirty tables and were told 30 minute wait and we left after waiting for an hour

I like their chicken parmesan it is very crisp, and the chicken and jalapeno ravioli are really good too.

The Lasagna here is the truth! It has chunks of meatballs in it along with ground meat. The best I've had anywhere the Spaghetti is good too big meatballs and a nice size portion of each.

I really like Johnny Carino's. Italian nachos, jalapeno tilapia, Italian margaritas are my favorites. This location needs help. Not sure if it's due to personnel shortage, mismanagement, or what. Slow service, cold food, oblivious staff.

Not gonna lie pretty good I had the spicy shrimp and chicken pasta

Called in a to-go order. They told us 10-15mim and we said we'd be there a bit after that. When we arrived we had to wait over 20 minutes. They seemed to have never out in the order. They didn't give us our change, any placticware, nor the garlic/oil for the bread which we specifically asked for. Super frustrating.

Great fast service when picking up to go food. The food was good and still warm when I got home with it. The waiter helped me as I sat at the bar waiting for my food and made sure to bring it to me right when it was ready.

Omg the pomegranate granita is soooooo good!! And the Italian queso. I could have that as a meal in itself.

Food's good. Management is crap though.

I had super there with my girlfriend and gave her her employer's pay check (she wasn't doing direct deposit) and a single $100.00 bill. When we left we left the check and the hundred dollar bill there. Upon realizing this we went back and got the pay check back but not the $100.00 bill.

The envelope the pay check was in had a piece of tape attached to it that wasn't there before when the manager gave it to us. ie. presumably the wait person figured this likely wasn't a tip and taped it to the envelope that he gave to the manager. Then the manager I guess decides "oh - I'll just take this $100.00 and blame the wait staff!"

I suppose I shouldn't be too critical of this place since we shouldn't have left that stuff there in the first place but still... that I did gave them a chance to reveal their true colors and their true colors disappoint.
