The Pizzia was so greasy its was so over priceed and i got sick from this make me a favor and get better chiefe.

The service and food have consistently gone down hill for the last few years.

This location has mediocre Italian food. My table had the jalapeno chicken ravioli, chicken parmesan, chicken alfredo, calamari and calzone. It was all good but not anything to come back to. Our server was fast and friendly. The reason I am giving them 3 stars is for cleanliness. My margarita glass still had lipstick on it from whoever drank from it last.

I had a pick up order and had to call several times before finally getting an answer. I assumed they were busy so no big deal right? When l got there 10 min later only 2 cars on the parking lot. The lady who gave me my order was very rude. When I asked for forks and parmesan cheese she rolled her eyes me. Not the best first impression.

We always enjoy coming here, service is great and food is delicious. We had Adrian this visit and he was wonderful, we will be back soon

I live near one so I decided to try the chicken parmesan and the lasagna. They were both disgusting. Honestly, the sauce tastes like something from a can and the flavor overall was horrible. I promise you, frozen lasagna from stouffers or something is better than this. I'm mad I wasted $25. OLIVE GARDEN is better than this. I threw the food away.

Lousy. The waiter was slow and unresponsive. The food was horribly over priced for a tiny condiment container of alfredo dipping sauce. There are a ton of better establishments for Italian food just in the immediate area. The supposed extra virgin olive oil used for dipping your complementary bread in is a mixture of imported Italian trash oil and vegetable oil. It's disgusting. The food at Carinos used to be so good but now it's like they're just phoning it in.

Nice atmosphere, enjoyed appetizers. Service was great. Food quality was ok but kind of bland.

Service was prompt, food was good. No complaints at all.

Their happy hour deals are AWESOME! I might become a regular here XD can't wait to come by on Thursday to try the wings.

I also noticed the manager (or maybe the owner?) was helping out the wait staff since it seemed like they were short staffed last night. So the manager is really on point and is focused on providing good service all the time and taking care of his employees. That's what really brings this up from a 4- to a 5-star.

Had the spaghetti and meat balls. Worst meal I ve ever been served anywhere. They can t possibly call that stuff marinara sauce. Terrible.

This is my favorite restaurant in Austin if not my favorite in any city. The staff is courteous and helpful, always ready to assist with matching pasta to sauce. I have never been disappointed.

Pretty damn bad. Empty...and the service was still bad. Don't even get me started on the food. Only good thing about the place...was a cute blonde chick...but even she looked sad to be there.

We drive over an hour to eat here since most locations have closed near us. I can't get enuf of the fresh bread and garlic/Oil. I always order the same thing but still enjoy it everytime. They have specials on certain days of the week which makes the drive even more worth your while. I have always had good servers with fun personality. Try this place out.... GREAT FOOD

Found a new daytime hangout. Quiet and uncrowded. Good food and massive portions. Will return.

The food was pretty great! We came here for Valentine's day and our server's name was Valentino! What a coincidence! I had the cacciatore with shrimp and it was really delicious. Great food and great serving size, plenty for a second meal or midnight snack. Some picture frames etc. Could use a good deep clean, my only critique.

Food was good enough, didn't know what to expect service was okay too. Probably be good for people who don't know real good italian. Noodles and sauce, hard to screw up.

Excellent food, excellent prices, and amazing service

Carinos is one of my favorite places. This was a new location for us to try, and I've gotta be honest, I think it's our new favorite. All the Carino's we've been to are really great, but this one was just SUPERB. Of course, we love the specials, Thursday is Wing Day in our house!

Food was hot and fresh and just as I ordered it. The service was attentive, courteous and efficient. The server kept us in hot fresh baked bread with garlicky olive oil and our drinks filled while
barely being noticed! The Spicy Chicken & Shrimp Pasta is our favorite and it did not disappoint. Would recommend this place to anyone anytime !!!

It is a nice Italian restaurant that is not too expensive and gives you great proportions and taste for your money.

Great experience. We came in with a group of about 40. The server was excellent, food was hot.

Overall fantastic evening.

It seemed a little pricey until our food came then I realized the portions are large and delicious. I'm easily able to get 2 more great tasting meals out of just my take home leftovers, not to mention my family's. Only concern is my daughter still prefers Olive garden fettuccine alfredo sauce, so if you're gonna compare them -do yourself a favor and pick a different sauce and you won't regret it. We will be back.

If everything goes well, it's a pretty average experience. You sit down, you order your food, you get it, you eat it, you paid and you leave. I do like how to have the open kitchen and the Italian cream sodas (if they have cream.)

My mom just had her 65th birthday celebration and so we decided to get catering from this Carino s location and it was amazing!!! The food was very fresh and was right on time. I mist definitely will be using Carino s catering for any other event that I have.

My girlfriend and I walked in at 4:30 on a Sunday afternoon. There were literally only 2 people seated in the entire restaurant, but there were 4 couples in the waiting area and probably 8 employees standing around. After waiting at the hostess stand for an awkward 5 minutes, a waiter came by and told me it would be 30 minutes before he could seat us. When I tried to inquire what the issue was, he sarcastically said we re in the middle of a pandemic maybe you ve heard about it , and then walked away. Since this all started, we ve been trying to get out to a lot of restaurants in the area, but apparently this one doesn t need our business. We won t be returning.

Big selection of delicious dishes! Appetizers & desserts are great. As well as the service.

Generous food portions, food came out hot, service from Tara was good too.. we ll be back

Had a great lunch today, food was delicious and it came out under 10 minutes, it was so good and fast that I had time for a dessert.

I've been to this Carinos several times. The wait staff is always friendly and the service is usually good. There was one time that the waiter checked on us sooo much that it felt like he was rushing us. We spoke to the manager and he was very courteous promising to talk to this waiter.

I really enjoy the food. I've tried the pepperoni burger, meatball pannini and the chicken bowtie festival. The chicken bowtie festival is probably my favorite. I will definitely go back.

The restaurant floor near the restrooms had some kind of nasty liquid on the floor. Our waiter was very rude to everyone. My wife had eggplant. It was so over cooked it should have never been served. We made the waiter reorder. The second round was not eatable either. We will not go back. We were there for dinner on June 1st.

My family had a great time here and the service is great!! The food was hot and on time and the desert hits the spot. Thankyou Carinos for your phenomenal hospitality!!! Our server was James and he is great! 2 adults and 4 kids and we were treated very well. Thankyou once again

Pasta was soggy and disgusting, pizza was undercooked, overall this has nothing like Italian food. Never again

This is only getting two stars because the bartender was so nice. The first thing you notice is the bad smell of the place. Like old cheese. I know it's and 'Italian' and all but it's not pleasant. Also, it's dead. I'm not sure how it's still open. Now, the food. I got the lunch special. Pizza and salad for $9.99. literally the worst pizza that has ever you my lips. Beeferoni tasting sauce. All aspects of it were horrible. The salad wasn't terrible. I'll post pictures of the food.

Open kitchen so you can watch it being cooked. Quick service, nice wait staff.

No one came to seat me until 20 minutes. I waited seating area until I walked myself to tables.

Update: I gave this place another shot and several more after that even. Wife and kids really enjoy the place now. I still have not ordered the fettuccini again but several different items on the menu. the pizza is absolutley wonderful. My kids love it. We go just about every Friday or Saturday.

Started off great. Bread was warm and the olive oil and garlic dip was great. The mozzarella sticks were a perfect crunch and the cheese was soooo melty. The marinara sauce was even a little spicy. I rarely use the sauce but this was exceptionally good and worth it. That was it though. The chicken fettucini wasn't worth it. The noodles didn't seem completely cooked. The sauce was ehh but the chicken was disappointing. It was cut into slices like you would cut turkey for a sandwich. Was very weird and didn't taste awesome. Service was slow even though the place was dead. Might come back just because the location is convenient but I'll order something different for sure.

On yesterday had a party of 30 for a wedding reception and only had one server. They didn't get the server any help. Bread and oil came out after the meal after we kept on asking for it. Some drinks were not right. This was booked 3 weeks in advance. Service was awful. Waited on service forever. Told the assistant manager and it was said there is nothing they can do about it. No concern at all. I like Johnny Carinos but will never go to this one.

Great food as always. Staff is always amazing, just wish they would bring back their bread pudding.

AMAZING Food And Excellent Service With A SMILE. Definitely Going Back

The food was good but they seemed short-handed. The service was not good it took a very long time to both place an order and to receive our food and I feel as if they are short on staff because the dining room was full of unbussed tables and it wasn't busy so there really is no excuse for that.

We received NO service. We were the only black ppl in the restaurant and novone came to our table. We left...and the host turned her head as we madecour exit (as if we were invisible). This saddened mycheart. We should be better than this as a society

And please don t say, how can I help you? It s a restaurant not a service desk. Hello, good evening? How are you? Stick to standard responses and have everyone agree on them. Don t make them up on the fly. Dining in tonight? Follow me please.

Couldn t have had a better experience. The manager, Marc, was very accommodating to my family and I after I brought them in for a home welcoming dinner. We also enjoyed the stuffed mushrooms. Highly recommend Carinos for a casual dinner outing

Food was very good and also very pricey. If you catch their lunch specials you get more food for your buck.

Good Italian food in a market sadly lacking in local options. Better than most chains, but still a chain.

Hostess was very slow and disorganized. When I came in with a party of 3, the restaurant had only 1 or 2 occupied tables. She said it would be a five minute wait. Then she lost my name on the sheet.

Took another 10-15 minutes for service. Still a mostly empty restaurant. Waiter did not know items on the "new" menu.

Food is good but if you use a credit card save your receipt. They added money to my bill.

I understand with the covid BS that there are limitations however we were at the restaurant at 5pm in a Sunday and waited 10 mins before the people in front of us were even acknowledged to only find out that there was a 20 min wait. Looking around the restaurant I could only see 3 tables seated and one was paying their bill to leave. Absolutely ridiculous service. Probably won t be eating there EVER!!!

We have been loyal Carinos customers for years. We started visiting this location after the Round Rock location closed. Every visit we spend at least $90 and drive over 30 minutes to visit. On occasion we may not have a great experience but we usually just shrug it off. Tonight we were extremely disappointed with how our visit started we just left right after being seated. It would seem that if you have customers that you see and serve every other weekend you would appreciate that. I guess not..sadly we won't be returning.

Dont sit in the bar side worst service ever, even took my premium drink and I wasnt even done drinking it yet.

Food was awesone, got the combination, eggplant parmesan was my favorite and got baked ravioli. Both excellent. Brandon our server was awesome as well. Highly recommend! Can't wait to go back!
