We paid a visit to John Deere Pavilion while vacationing in the area. It was very interesting reading about the history of various tractors and seeing them up close. There are interactive exhibits that provided some good fun and you could get in the cab of newer tractors. Our young kids had a blast seeing all of the tractors and playing in the kids area. Definitely check it out if you're nearby.

We were here for the John Deere Learn & Play event. There were a lot of people but they managed it very well. Lots of crying children; I felt like I really fit in & no one really noticed when my kids had their brief meltdowns. Only problem I had was finding a bathroom which wasn't very clearly marked. Bad news when you really gotta go...

They recently moved everything out and polished the floor, then put everything back just like it was. Seams to me like a missed opportunity to change it up a bit. Still a great place but it's getting old to me.

Very nice and clean. The employee at the desk was very helpful. There are multiple pieces of equipment that you can climb inside. There is a small area for kids to play and learn. No cost to get in.

A wonderful tractor experience for kids and adults alike. All of the tractors kids can get in and imagine themselves on the farm. There are also heavy equipment simulators and hands on activities. The best of all, it's free!

We arrived and the outside was very well kept, As well as the inside. We walked in to be greeted by the down to earth staff. We spent an hour or so letting our child have an amazing birthday. Our child was allowed to climb and experince most of the equipment that was in the building. With saying that there's interactive games, along that line there are simply simulators for the kids to get a feel of driving a piece of equipment.
We would recommend any family visit here. Especially, on one of the event days during the year.

Excellent. What a cool lil dilly. Had a meeting at John Deere a bit later in the day and heard about the Pavilion from another individual from work so I checked it out. What an amazing American company. Loved it ! Highly recommend if you're a fan of Deere or America Industrial History. Oh and the gift shop is grrrrrrrrrrreat

A spectacular place for the whole family, especially we who have a fan. A deployment of tractors, balers, lawnmowers, etc. With the latest technology. Large place with very friendly senior staff. He agreed that the Great Race of old cars arrived from California and there were many cars on display outside this place.
We also visited the corporate offices in Moline where there is a huge display of machinery and "memorabilia". The day before we had been at the John Deere Museum in Waterloo, Iowa.

Awesome place to stop, even if you're not interested in tractors. The simulators were a blast. It's probably the only place you can get into a really big rig. And the antiques were beautiful. Would be nice to see a few more small to mid range products.

It's a fun stuff and provides history of John Deere family. It has some entertainment games for kids as well. There is a Deere shop opposite to it which provides Guiene Deere products. A good time engaging and worth to visit place.

The best of the John Deere museums for the 12 and under. Lots to see and lots that can be climbed into. Kids and parents learned something new. Great stop on road trip to spend a couple hours and wear out our three year old.

The waiting area included a fully assembled harvester. The factory tour was guided by retired John Deere factory workers who knew the process and the history. The painting area consisted of several large tanks to dip the entire assemblies that made up the harvesters. The tanks were wash, rinse, etch, rinse, and paint. All the paint was John Deere green.

Each harvester moved down the assembly line on small temporary wheels to clear the roof of the factory. The final wheels for farm use (yellow rims) are made at another location are installed by the equipment dealer.

We went there for our 2015 vacation. And everyone of us just loved it. Also great and respectful employees that take the time to answer your question constructively about any of the machines and history.

Store
The museu part was fantastic. It was clean, informative, and fun. I really like all of the information they had everywhere. There where things to read and to watch. They have chairs where you can sit comfortably and watch the videos. The people are very knowledgeable and friendly.
However the store was not as good an experance. The staff followed us around pointing and laughing at me. They never aproched us to see if we needed any help or asked questions. I had my therapy baby with me and they just pointed and laughed. Never even asked what she was or why I have her. It made me feel self-conscious. We got our things and left. We would have bought more but I was very uncomfortable.

Fun and clean, very neat place to visit. You can climb up into the machines and take lots of pictures. The only suggestion I have is if you're with a baby that needs a diaper change to do it before you go in. I couldn't find a changing station and it's crowded in there. Gift shop is nice as well.

This facility is a showcase for Deere products, but it is also a nice place to take small children from 2 and up.

It's location is easy to get to and parking is free.

Plenty of places nearby to eat and shop!

Great place for grandparents to spend some time with grandchildren.

My kids love to get up into the machines! It's great when they have event days: coloring, activities, even baby animals etc. Check the websites calendar and plan ahead. P.S. If you plan to go to the gift shop next door, make sure to bring cash, otherwise have your ID, as they won't run a card without it.

Located in heart of downtown, this attraction is a must see. There's a nice showroom and a great gift shop attached to it. In the showroom there's many farm equipments, tractors, supersized combine, etc There's also videos and interactive activities for children. Truly a great experience except that it was a bit small.

Fun place to play and learn with the kids. My kids are around farm equipment but they still loved the experience! The store was a little smaller than we expected, and would be nice if parking was marked better.
