Great place to learn about the past, present, and future of John Deere! Static and interactive displays are very well-presented. Very educational, helpful staff on hand to answer questions. Lots of photo opportunities for families on the equipment. The gift store next door is very well merchandised--not a run of the mill museum shop. This is a real gem in Moline!

Visited June 5, 2012 Deere has resently renovated pavilion, a lot of interactive things to do for kids and adults. Even if you don't think you like farm stuff you will like this. Farm and industrial equipment on displayed.

Fun and fact filled experience for the family. There are some interactive simulators for people of all ages to operate machinery. Some huge farming equipment is also on display and quite overwhelming. Neat way to spend an hour or so!

What a great experience for kids! My son was so happy! It was so cool that he was able to climb in to all the equipment and machinery especially since we don't have that opportunity to do this stuff at home!

I had a great time at the John Deere pavillion. I enjoyed the displays and the simulators they had were a lot of fun. I wish it were a little bigger than it is, but overall it was a fun day with my husband.

Great free place to bring young kids. Lots of John Deere equipment to explore, plus antiques, modern and historical exhibits, construction vehicle simulators, and activities for all ages. Location makes it a nice outing, as you can also go for a walk by the river or visit other downtown attractions.

Free admission. Plan on 1 hour.

Gift shop next door. Open 9-5, 7 days a week. 4 antique tractors, 3 simulators for 10 year olds+- to adult, 4 pieces of big newish equipment, 4 medium, 5 small. 5 play stations for 3-10 year olds +- in a kid's area. 12 minute video (sales / new market development). A few prototypes. A few signs explaining John Deere history. This is basically a "show and tell" of their equipment - not a museum. Helpful person answers questions. Store next door selling gifts (coffee cups, pens, t-shirts).

I have been here a number of times with my children ranging from 5 month old to 11. And this place never gets old. So much to see, sit in, buttons to press, and experiments to try. And the best part is, it is entirely free compliments of John Deere.

We really enjoyed learning the history of these amazing machines and the John Deere name. The hands on experience for the little ones is great. They could climb up into the seats of these monster machines, had a learning area, and watch a movie about working together to produce food for us. Enjoyable and glad we took the time to come here.

Fun place. Kids enjoyed the video games and sitting in the tractors. There's a small kids play area but it's pretty light on activities. Everything was free in the pavilion. The gift shop had some really cool stuff, including toys and clothes, but it is not cheap. The toys are priced very high for what I would call an outlet store.

Enjoyed it tremendously. Took our 2 year old great grandson and he absolutely loved it. Staff was very cordial and knowledgeable. Facility was very clean. Presentations were excellently displayed and very easy to follow and had a good flow throughout building.

I love taking my son here, he gets to climb up onto the tractors and see the insides of these machines that are so fascinating to him. I also enjoy the history information provided. If your into history, agriculture, or if you just enjoy climbing into big tractors this place is worth a stop

Its a great place to get informed on how the company has progressed. Not a bad place to stop if you are down by the Iwireless center

Very interesting exhibits and the guides are knowledgeable. The size of the pavillion ia disappointing but on the other hand there is not an entrance fee; ample parking (also free); very clean and well maintained; and, relatively easy to get to.

Was disappointed. Thought it'd be bigger with more things to do. Was just first floor with a few tractors and a few things for the kids to do. I've been told need to do the factory tour instead. Has a gift shop on site with everything imaginable

I visited this place during a weekend visit to Davenport as it was highly recommended by many locals. The various displays were a joy to observe. The historical corner had some cool information about how John Deere got started. The simulation corner was amazing. I really enjoyed getting to use the front loader and excavator they had pre-loaded. The outside of the building looked very impressive. Unfortunately, I had to walk all the way around the building in a light rain in order to get to the ONE door, but it was worth it. The gift shop next door was also very cool. Obviously over priced, but not as bad as I thought. The two ladies working inside were very friendly and helpful.
