Nice place for single, couple and family to dine. Good place to eat

My family had a rough experience here. To start, my own food was delicious and worthy of five stars! A few members of my family had cold plates arrive. One member was never served a refill. When our waiter was not to be found she approached the host who instead yelled at her for not properly practicing social distancing. And lastly, the waiter did not return all the change that was due back to us when we paid. We didn't pursue it because it wasn't much. Perhaps it was because of the change shortage, but it wasn't made clear why.

Quality was not as good as in the past. Service was great though.

Service was was not even worthy of a McDonald's. Food was sub-par, my daughter could of showed them how's done. Lost a customer, will not return!!

The food and service we're fantastic. Very memorable experience and will eat there again. I had lobster and crab it was so delicious.

The server brought us the wrong plate we had to wait over 10 minutes for her to come back to the table to let her know it was wrong. After we told her it was wrong she said oh that s my fault then literally disappeared. Worst service ever.

Grest customer service from my wait. Only complaint was the bartender did not want to make me a frozen margarita witn my coronita because it would taste good to her opinion. I always get them like that, she should just to what customer wants. Just sayin

Chain restaurant with the expected menu fare, but service was mediocre this visit.
And, despite open seats, there was a wait for tables. In this area, there are better spots to enjoy seafood and dine.

Food was awesome... Service was good but the place was so full he barely had time to make a perfect service... Location couldn't have been better

There's a Joe's wherever you go. Right on the beach for those that love Seafood and want to bring their dog onto the patio with them.

Server kept forgetting items, even though there were only 2 of us and restaurant wasn't busy. Had gumbo, bowl was hot but the gumbo was barely warm. Table we were sat at had the restaurant's phone on the ledge next to seat and was disruptive, plus the table was wet from previous guest drinks.

Worst food. Every tasted bad. Food was OVER done

Appetizer was amazing, and it was hit or just ok on the mains but for a chain seafood restaurant I would go back. Priced as seafood restaurants go as fair.

This is one of my favorite Joe's. We always have a great experience here, although if you sit outside you will have to fight with the bird for your food. Inside is the way to go

Take my very wise advice and try another restaurant. You will most DEFINITELY come back to this review and thank me later. You are most welcome.

Was the worst experience I've ever had was told the fish was fillets and it was not everything about the food sucked do not recommend this place to nobody if it burned down today it would not bother me

We walk in the door and we're greeted by Dexter; who was extremely nice. We sat in the bar area Miranda was our server. She was the best server we've had since we moved to the island. Now for the food my girlfriend got Great Balls of Fire and the Coconut Shrimp. She was very happy with it. I got the Rajun Cajun Steampot with a side salad. It wasn't enough flavor and it wasn't enough food. Next time I'll get extra seasoning on it. The service was amazing though so we'll try it out again one day.

We went to eat there in Galveston and found the food the same greatness as back home! Kinda expensive but the food, coconut shrimp, was very big and tasty!

Little disappointed. We were forgotten about for quite some time. Our drinks took forever to get to us. Food came out cold. We were apologized for the long wait on the drinks by the manager but a complimentary appetizer would have been a nice touch but it did not happen.

Always love Joe's. Was freezing inside though and crab legs almost were instantly cold

Food is amazing and after being treated rude for our second order of the day, the guy who took our order the first time fixed everything thing and made it right. I wish I got his name he was awesome

Thankfully this Joe's is still around. It's one of my wife's favorites and we just love the crab steam pots.

Place was limited due to pandemic but they accommodated us and the food was good. Kaitlyn was new and made our experience great!

Service was good but the food was mediocre at best. Smallest, thinnest hardest and most tasteless garlic bread EVER! The Shrimp platter was flavorless. The view was great on the deck though!

Parking was pretty full, but that didn't deter us. When we got in there was a bit of a wait line (10ish minutes) but it wasn't bad. The person who waited on us was extremely nice and helpful with figuring out serving sizes and good platters to try. We got the Shrimp Sampler, Steamed Crab, Crab Cake platter, and a kids cheeseburger (not pictured). All of it tasted great! And the kids had fun going out to play in the playground. All in all, it was pretty quick with good service and good food. It is quite expensive though, but it's definitely worth it.

Thou you may have to book appointment because the walkin spaces are limited

I just left Joe's with my to go order. We came from Houston to have dinner. They were very unorganized. Finally ordered did my wait. Finally my order was ready And the waitress walked pass me twice not knowing who to give the order to. My order was wrong. Not a good customer experience. Drove from Houston, not impressed.

Amazing food and amazing service this place is just has an all around great atmosphere and the food is so delicious if you are a seafood lover like me

OVER PRICED. IF YOU CAN EAT ALOT OF CRABS YOU WILL LEAVE BROKE OR HUNGRY. ATMOSPHERE IS AWESOME

I worked for Landrys, but this is my favorite plsce. I hate giving money to Fertita

My entire crab pot was disgusting. 2 stars for the service.

Service was very friendly. Went in to get the dual lobster tail dinner but got 4 very tiny tails with not much flavor. I ve seen shrimp larger than these tails.!!!

Wasn't real busy, waited for a bit on food and for waitress

It's a fun location that has wonderful servers.

The food was awesome and the service was outstanding. The manager James was great and so was our server Miranda, we go treated so badly at brick house tavern and came here. Thanks brick house tavern you did us a favor. Word of mouth goes a long way. Thanks James and Miranda keep up the good work.

We enjoyed dinner with the family, service was good and prompt , and the food was good. A good place to go with the family... Forget about the bad reviews

Not exactly very flavorful. Had the crab cake burger, don't do it just felt like smushy bread. Also had the Malibu shrimp their rice was gross & the shrimp wasn't even worth the $16. The southern shrimp was pretty good but honestly you can get better elsewhere. The only nice thing we ate was the big catch platter but the stuffed shrimp was mostly cream cheese. Drinks the "extreme" drinks had no type of extreme alcohol, you can get more than 2. The staff was really great! Just food not all that great I would've rather had Pier 8.

Bug eggs on the crab legs. Really? I did like that calorie information was posted on the menu.

Ate there twice in 2 weeks first visit terrible food bad service and overcharged us. Second visit next week good food good service maybe the crew was having a bad day the first time.
