Ate here for the 1st time ever on my birthday last month and received the best experience possible. I think my server's name was Ashley I can't even remember but she was excellent and gave me outstanding customer service. Will definitely be back there again.

The food was incredible. The staff was really nice but..... The service was really slow. It took them about 20 minutes just to get me my drink.

Server was great! The woman at the door was extremely rude and shouted at my wife.

Good, you re average JCS but with friendly staff and a great location.

If you want all different type of crab,DEFINITELY the place to go!!

The bowl of soup was very small almost equal to a cup which cost more than a cup. The rest of the food was good but the waiter we had was not very good we had our dinner a good 10 minutes before we received our crab crackers then had to ask again for plates and silverware which we received after he took another order.

We have to eat there when we are in the United States. Seafood great. Prices ok

The Joe's in our neighborhood shut down and we were looking forward to eating seafood...there was No hostess/ host at door when we walked in. There were 10 people standing there it appeared to be 3 different groups waiting for the hostess to get back to the counter. 5 minutes later when she got back she still had not acknowledged any of the people waiting.we hav to go to the bar and ask if we could sit there to eat .... if it had not been for the bartender we would have LEFT!!!!!

Food is decent, pricing is okay... location is good right on Seawall. Wait staff messed up everything on our orders - ordered grilled chicken for my child, he brought out grilled shrimp then, I requested garlic crab he brought ot old bay. He corrected the crab but then brought ot fried chicken strips for my cyile. I just let it be... needs to pay more attention.

Go on Wednesdays for all you can eat shrimp! They are good!

The food was expensive and not very good. The service was very bad. Birds were everywhere and dirt, the help didn't do anything about it. I've been there twice but NEVER again!!!!

This is the most disgusting restaurant I have ever been to they lie about the deals so they can trick customers to coming in everything is dirty the water is really dirty my son s leg was bit by something under the chair Lightbulbs are very dirty bugs are hanging out They lie about saying free crabs on a big big sign and they keep saying tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow The workers even said It just to trick the customers into coming in I will never come back!!!

There use to be a joes crab by my apartment that was closed down so when I visited here and found one I was very happy.
But I was disappointed at this location, the food was tasteless and the drink I ordered tasted nothing like the real thing.
Service was good and fast and usually but the quality of the food was bad!

Overcooked and overpriced

I was disappointed but it happens restaurants have a bad meal from time to time

Love Joe's...crab nachos not especially noteworthy. Calamari and Shrimp good! Service excellent!

Lunch here on 6/20/19. Iced tea was cold, wet and plentiful. Lunch specials of 10 for under $10 was a nice find. Definitely not lunch sized portions for the coconut shrimp nor the fish and chips. Waiter kept constantly clearing the table. A bit disconcerting but overall a nice mid-day break. Joe's is one of the favorite venues when we come to the island.

Drinks were great and food was very good. Even though it was saturday and the seawall was busy was still able to get a table quickly.

Customer service seemed fine uninstall entering. The staff was up and dancing. I was sitted immediately and since I knew what I wanted I went ahead and ordered a build your own steampot and the great balls of fire. The only item I truly enjoyed were the great balls of fire. My fries were over cooked. When the steam pot served the crabs were cold and rubbery. I did finish what I could and tipped and left. Not a place I would visit again.

Chain restaurant meets expectations, but expectations aren t for greatness. Food and service were good but not great, bathrooms were clean so that s a plus.

Seriously no clue how this has any 5 stars. This was the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. First we walked in and there was no hostess. After waiting 10 minutes and a couple groups coming in after us we had to flag someone down to be seated. Then after sitting for another 10 minutes a waitress came up and was talking so quietly we couldn't hear anything she said especially over the stupidly loud music playing. Ordered drinks and apps, the apps came fairly quickly and were tasty although smaller than other places I've been with similar pricing. The drinks took a long time to get. The restrooms were disgusting. Ordered our food then waited almost 30 minutes to get it not seeing our waitress at all, once we got it there was a hair in the food so after looking for our waitress for 15 minutes and being told by another staff that we need to talk to our waitress we finally saw her walking on the other side of the room not paying any attention or even looking at her tables to maybe watch for facial expressions for people having issues that's seriously server 101 you check on your tables within 5 minutes of their food coming out. So we had to walk across the restaurant to get her. They remade the food and everything else was ok until I got the check and saw that we weren't even given a comp to make up for the horrible experience. Will never ever go back to Joe's it's a complete joke and when I pay that much I expect the level of service to match.

It was ok. Not what I thought when the Houston locations were open. Food had to be returned be cause it was cold.

Was there early and had the place to ourselves. Server was fun and the food was very good. One of the better Joe's I've been to.

Paul was an awesome server!! He was extremely attentive and fun!

Food flavor was bland, sorry but for a bill that was almost $100 for three, I would expect better service and food.

Excellent food, took long to get our initial drink orders in, but after that, everything was superb.

I intend on regularly visiting this location! My guy and I had just left another seafood establishment after feeling ignored by the staff. Walking into Joe's we instantly knew we had made the right decision! The host was absoultely endearing and enthusiastic. Our server (Cassie...I think was her name) was awesome and informative. The food was amaze-balls and the drinks were on point. As a former restaurant and bar manager...I could tell the staff was actually having a good time and attentive. That particular evening the team work seemed to come together really well and it showed in all areas! Thanks for making a long time reunion an AWESOME date night to boot :)

Food is always amazing!!! Love the waitress Kei and always have a great time there. We will be back!!!

Freezing under the outside canopy! Bring a sweatshirt or buy one, like me.

Such a chill place to grub out on great shrimp. That is my thing. Crab sometimes. Love the hot sauce and the people.

Service was the worst ever. My wife and I were seated immediately upon entrance. We waited approximately 20 minutes and was not waited on. We left the establishment never to return again.

Went to the Galveston store.the service was very nice.atmosphrere awesome.The food was really good too.

Made us wait a long time at the counter saying "well be right with you". Just to finally tell us they couldn't accept any more people on the wait list.

My food (pasta and shrimp alfredo) was served promptly, hot, and very tasty. Loved the decor on the ceiling and walls. Service was great, too. A family friendly environment, wheelchair accessible, and Clean!

Good food, but the most rudest waitress I've ever encountered, IAM talking about to the point to where I wanted to leave, which I did. I wish I remembered her name.

Terrible service!! The waitress did not seem to care about us at all. We never got plates for appetizer. Finally got water when dinner was almost over. The waitress did not seem to care about us at all. The bill was wrong and took forever to get it fixed. The manager walked right by us and never spoke or even looked at us. Oh, and they were out of To-Go boxes, so we had to wrap our food in napkins and put it in a bag (that we had to ask for). Waste of money.

It's okay, but there are better values and premises in the area. Good view of the water. Decent food, but scant on the actual seafood in a meal IMO.

Calamari was dry and overcooked. So was the crab and shrimp. Potatoes where Gray! Staff was friendly enough though.

All you can eat shrimp was very good, steak was also good.

Understaffed, and either the waiter or kitchen got the orders wrong but they were all messed up. Chicken and tilapia taste and were seasoned the same. Chicken had a burnt aftertaste. The broccoli was undercooked. The drinks were good but that's about it. It was a long wait for poor tasting food. But maybe it is because I visited so many local seafood restaurants with amazing seafood and this chain restaurant doesn't compare. Still shouldn't be an excuse for poor quality food from a big name like Joe's.

We sat outside and wires keeping all the birds out of the patio we re broken. It was disgusting, there was bird poop everywhere.

3 is because they are very Accommodating. If you have 3 hrs for dinner then go but I won't say the food would be hot. The big fail here is there kitchen. Molasses slow.

Got our oder to go because of no seating when I went to eat crab legs they literally had hardly any meat in them at all which is very disappointing considering the amount of money they cost. Don't think I will go there again. If your down in Galveston this memorial weekend don't order crab legs at Joe's crib shack.

Only thing I ever get there is the bucket of crab legs. And there are GREAT
