Good service and reasonably priced food. Drinks are yummy and love the atmosphere

Loooong wait to be seated and long wait for food. Drinks took a long time for refills also.
Good tasted great though.

Delicious. This was a very nice experience for me! Unlike the one in Beaumont, sorry, I personally don't like their food. A lot of people do, and it has been several years since I've eaten there.

We came to this restaurant for my best friends birthday, we where greeted by a nice man who helped us get shirts from the back and was very respectful and kind. We where sat at separate tables from our party after we waited for 15 min. Our waiter finnaly arrived after waiting another 10 min. We asked for a root beer float and our waitress acted like it was a huge inconvenience and stormed off saying y all are killing me to the the kitchen . Her tone was very rude and unacceptable she was acting like she wanted to get fired . We went to talk to the manager about the waitress, and he defended her. We asked for another waiter and told him what happened and his response was we don t have another waiter instead of an apology. A nice lady who was working at the front took her spot. She was so nice and joyful. She was very respectful and an amazing waiter. Overall the management is horrible and needs to be taken care of. The food was great and after we got a new waitress our experience was much better.

We got seated and sat there for about 10 mins before I stared at the hostess and she saw that we had no drinks and came to get our drink order. After about 5-10 more mins our actual waiter came to take our drink order and we told her that it had already been taken. She found the hostess that took our drink order and she had totally forgotten. We literally sat there for 20 mins without any drinks even. So we were not about to drop $60-$70 on a place with such terrible service, we were walking out and told the manager about what happened and he just said "I'm sorry, I wish you'd stay" didn't offer a discount or anything for free. By far the worst restaurant weve gone to this vacation.

Great place to bring your dog! We had a fabulous waitress and she even brought us a water bowl for the dog!

Went in several years ago and was disappointed but not tonight. The drinks were fantastic. Lobster tails we're absolutely amazing. Kevin was our waiter and he was awesome. Made great drink recommendations. Definitely will come back now. Loved it hands down!!!

The only thing that would make this place better is cheaper alcohol drinks and a better flavor profile for their bucket of seafood.

Asked to be seated inside in a cold spot. Saw many possibilities. The girl seated us by the outside door in the sun. Very rude!!! We walked out.

Food service was real good and the workers where awesome!

It s was horrible no wait terrible experience for my family and I! We had to wait 45 mins for our food and when the food finally made it to our table it was very cold. The only time we had a waitress was when they brought our drinks out and we had to ask another waitress when our food was going to be brought out. To top it off there was flies Swarming our table the entire time!
We will never be back again!

It was a bit mediocre but since Landry's has bought it I'm certain it will improve.

Our food, shrimp tacos and new England clam chowder, were well prepared and fairly priced. Good service and the place was very clean.

Sat for quite a while during slow period, the Waiter finally arrived, hurriedly took Our Order, then left permantly!

She was efficient and polite, but Her
Service was A bit hurried, I assume it was due to the Shift change or the upcoming anticipated Dinner service.

Food and Ambience was okay.


A little pricey by 3-$4.00 per Entree.
May attempt another visit when the Weather isn't Rainy and it's peak Time.

My wife loves Joe's so we go to one anytime we see one when out of town. This is the first and only Joe's where the food was sub par, took too long to get out, and the staff was not as friendly as other crab shack employees in the past. They weren't busy so I'm not sure why things were so different. I won't go to this location again.

This is a good place to get seafood and drinks . Joe's Crab Shack has really good grilled and fried seafood . They have a good variety of seafood from spicy to sweet . They fried, grilled , pasta and steamed bowls . They have wonder side dishes . The drinks are good and very reasonable in price . What I really about this place is that they a kids play area . This is great place to bring your family because they have something for the whole family . The decor is very fitting for a seafood restaurant . The waitstaff is top notch and very friendly . This restaurant has a good view of the beach .

Went this past Sunday, the wait list process was pretty straightforward , just leave your number and you ll be notified when your table is ready. It was a bit long of a wait time due to the social distancing setup they have, but it was worth the wait. The food was great and our server Paul was awesome. Friendly, timely, personable and just all around welcoming. Great stuff y all, definitely swing by when in Galveston.

Bar tender cannot make drinks, food was edible, barely.... non of my drinks had alcohol.

Joe's! If you need a bucket of crab Joe's is the place to go.

Great place to go!!! Almost everywhere we have been in Galveston the people have been rude!! Actually walked out of a place... I love joes on my bday so we figured we would try it!!! Cory was awesome very welcoming the otjer staff was nice and friendly too!!! Of course the food was awesome!!! Thanks for making my bday weekend better!!!

The server was great and the food was fresh and good...

Nice waiter but the crab stuff mushrooms came out cold, I spent 21 on each meal and it wasn't filling, hot, or even really that good tasting.

Poor customer service again. It must be Texas thing. We were seated outside where there was alot of flies and nasty birds flying over the table. We ask to be seated inside and the manager refused to do so. It was not until we ask for a corporate number that he decided to find us a seat inside. If I paying $200 for dinner I should not have to fight off flies and birds. Revision $248.65 for being treated with so much disrespect as a customer!!!!!

the food was mediocre. they were out of most things we ordered. Server was great but the establishment was a disappointment. We were large party and they were bit able to accommodate our food and drink requests.

We went in I went to bathroom. Jim ordered tea he said. Said they wouldn't serve me. I went to manager he told me and Jim we had to much to drink both of us. I exsplained not from there. He said they told Jim non alcohal.I was in. Bathroom . Jim blamed me. neither done wrong.

Good food, but the waitress told us the seasoning on my son's food wouldn't be hot. He was in tears after we left because his mouth was burning.

Ask for brian he is the best server here. We were coming from houston and had more than excellent service. Not only that but the food was fresh and delicious. I will forever come here when i visit galveston for a getaway. Thank you guys for the great experience, including andre the manager for checking on us. Eat here you wont regret it i promise. Great alcoholic beverages and seafood!!!!!!!

Brenda tje hostess was friendly, Danielle our server was friendly and personable qith a positive attitude and Whitney, the manager was sweet and attentive. Food was yummy. Had a blackened grilled chicken salad and some yummy shrimp.

Home of the freshest frozen fish, shrimp, seafood. Don't need to be good when you got location and tourists

What a huge disappointment compared to other locations we've been to.

As a dining location, it's nice. Clean, easy parking, fast service, food comes quickly and is prepared as ordered. People are nice. I'm not a huge seafood fan so "it's fine" is my call on the food. Also not sure if it's the best seafood since it's a chain. But if you like Joe's then this is a nice one with lots of space on the Seawall.
