This is a favorite of ours..came to Galveston for 5th Anniversary just to eat at Joe's!! And it didn't disappoint!! Service was also good.

It's changed. Less food when you order a crab pot. Make sure to get an appetizer. It's still the best for crabs

We got to Joes at a decent dinner time. The food was soooo greasey like the last of the days slop. Got seated quickly but had to wait for a server for a few minutes. server was nice but food wasn't that great for almost a hundred dollar meal. Eat at the locals places

Our server Paul was amazing! I know this time of year is crazy and especially with COVID-19. He was fast, friendly, and super accommodating with our party of seven. Even with 4 adults all ordering from the bar and two kids that love their soda refills, he rocked it!

Happy hour is from 3-6 and 9-close. The voodoo chicken is AMAZING. The batter is perfect and isn t spicy. The bbq sauce that comes with it isn t good. We came during happy hour so the fried pickles were only $3 and came with about 20 pickle slices (I only had 2 left before we took a photo!) the crab stuffed mushrooms were $5 and came with three mushroom. They were pretty good. The voodoo chicken bites came with quite a few for $4. We also got the great balls of fire for $5. The mushrooms and chicken were the best!

very bad place to eat. I ordered red fish and lobster and they only brought me a fish fillet with some small pieces of lobster

Loved it! Great food, great drinks, we really enjoyed it and left but stuffed.

Horrible service. I wish we had gone to the another nearby location of Joe's. This location at seawall in Galveston, has one of the worst wait staff I have seen. Anything that can go wrong went wrong. Right from mixed up drinks, burnt crab cake, mixed up checks, horribly LONG wait between order and food served, you name it and it went wrong. No apologies. To top it all, a gratuity of 18% was already added but the service was not even worth for a penny. Would not recommend this place at 3502 Seawall.

Lots of open tables and not enough employees working, wait to be seated was not acceptable.

Our server/bartender Drew was amazing!!! Great personality and enthusiasm. Awesome environment and staff as a whole.

Really nice staff. They were obviously shorthanded but did their best and provided a good experience for just 2 people having drinks at the bar.

Tried to reserve a table, couldn't ever get thru. Drove to the restaurant to make a reservation and was told to get out and was refused service because I have a medical condition in which I cannot wear a mask. I will never done at another Joe's Crab Shack anywhere.

The employees were nice our waitress was nice and the food was good

The jungle gym is always nice. I had shrimp and crab nachos they were great! The crawfish were not the best. They were somehow spicy and bland at the same time. The kids menu is good with lots of choices.

I ordered a steak and I had no savor. very bad taste.

Do not eat at joes. Quoted an hour 15 at 515 on a Tuesday evening. Tables wide open with 4 servers standing at the host stand. Understanding covid protocol. Went to shrimp n stuff. In and out in 45 minutes.

The waitress with the short blue hair barely did her job we had to ask for refills every single time because after she brought us our food she didn't check on us once. I also ordered chicken Alfredo and both the pasta and the chicken we're under cooked. For the price I expected a lot better.

Great place to eat with family. Plus the workers gave us some entertainment by dancing to some music.

The most horrible service experience in my life! We kept waiting for a table up to 45 mins, and the half of the place was empty!!! We took a seat by the bar and within 30 mins no one ask if we need anything!!! The bar itself was very dirty and I cleaned by myself....I've been there before but will never come back! (Galveston, TX location)

When we get there or waitress was rude used to go there and they did stuff for people's birthdays did nothing for my daughter's birthday when asked about kids meals drink all the waitress said this y'all didn't ask when the kids meal comes with it used to go there all the time

The crab was delicious!!! I got the Cajun flavor. The wait was not long. Parking was free and easy. Nice beach views.

The service was very bad the manager was very bad as well as far as solving issues. My food was remade three times and still did not come out right I am leaving with it to go order and don't even know if it's what I ordered. What a way to spend 2 hours with my wife while we were on vacation. I would never go back there again nor would I recommend anybody else to go there.

Friendly waitstaff. Food was good, but I don't believe it is worth what you're paying. Pricey.

Food was average, drinks were overpriced and bartender had no idea how to make drinks or bartend. Wait was over an hour and 90% of the tables inside and outside were empty. Not up to standard at all.

Children's play place... amazing! Parents can come and enjoy adult time while there kids play at eyesight.

Well worth driving from Humble, since we don t have any Joe s Crab Shack in town anymore. Our favorite place to eat crabs and great drinks too!

Great food and ambience! Service is a bit slow, but it makes up with good entertaining environment and food.

These crab legs w/the Cajun Raging seasoning was great! 3 clusters will get you right! But the ultimate is the Smore's Dessert its soooooooooooo gud & tops everything off

2ND year celebrating 4th of July here. Paul our server was absolutely amazing!! Kaeri the manager checked in with us also. these guys went up and beyond to make us smile and feel welcome. Give these boys a raise they deserve it.

Has changed a lot. I know most of the stores are closed. I have always enjoyed Dungeness crab there, but Joe's no longer offers it in the crab pot I have always offered. I had King in the pot - ok. On an important note, Our server seemed to look right through me. Every time she asked if "we" were ok, meaning my husband and I, she looked at him. Every time she checked on whether he needed more to drink, she overlooked asking me - not a good feeling, AND certainly not good service. Oh, well, at least the floor manager did come by to check on us.

Due to the 'rona, wait times are a little longer, but the service is still friendly and the food is just as good.

The crab legs were super soggy. We went around 8pm though. But the legs also had no flavor and i got Cajun so I got a side of the seasoning which also wasnt strong.. Disappointing for sure since we drove from Anahuac and Baytown. We wont be back due to poor food quality. Our waiter was amazing though, we had the kids and he was super bubbly. The food is the only reason for my low review. Staff, Hostess and Waiter were awesome!

The food is typical Joe's and super. The service, our waiter, was fantastic.

Beware of the bartender with frosted tips. Called us Perfect cause he ordered the food wrong. Wont be back any time soon

The food was amazing.. Well what i got to eat of it.. Im so sorry no one had time to pay.. We all just ran throuvht the kitchen and out the backdoor to try and get away from flying bullets.. Nothing against joes but i probably wont be back to the seawall..

This evening my family went to the Galveston location with a fun and fantastic evening planned. My 20 month old was being loud and a handful, normally we have her under control but today she seemed uncontrollable. I was beyond embarrassed and kept apologizing for her behavior. Jaymes was my waiter and I never have experienced a better waiter anywhere else. He was super understanding and even talked to us and to her. So to Jaymescif you re reading his there needs to be more waiters like you out there. Thank you so much for showing us such hospitality and such compassion when I was about to have a breakdown. He definitely deserves a pat on the back!

Very poor service. Was told by the waiter himself he forgot about us. The shrimp pasta had baby shrimp that was cold and so small. It was like they went to Walmart to buy them. Pasta was over cooked. Bread was soft and not warm. Manager was no where in sight to talk to. Not worth the price

Meal was really awful was all cold and the shrimp was so tuff I had a hard time chewing it. Not once did anyone ask how our meal was we had to ask for our bill , when we finally got our bill we had to wander around to find where to pay. This was my first and last trip to Jose crab shack.

Long wait. Had to ask for waiter. I m a Landry s Select member. Number didx match name yet I get emails. Asked to substitute Cole slaw and couldn t. Friendliness is horrible. Won t be back.

We got there at about 10:40 and hostess told us to wait outside. Good customer service would have been to invite us in but explain it would be a few minutes .

Been here 15 minutes, no hostess, had to seat ourselves with the help of the prescription pill prince, aka. the "manager" and never got a greet. Walked out after 25 minutes. Unbelieveable.

This is the closest Joe's to Houston unfortunately, great crab and great service.

Place was very busy. Receptionist told our group we could seat ourselves on patio. Server refused to serve us because no one had escorted us. Manager basically threw us out, even though we had been TOLD to go to patio. Not at all happy about the whole experience!

Can't express how disappointed I was with this location. We were ok with waiting 35 minutes to be seated. It was another 40ish before anyone checked on us after we were seated. An hour or so to get our food. When we asked the hostess for crackers for our 2 year old, we were told to get our server. Asked the manager for crackers, which he got. After our food arrived we were missing a meal. Took another 10 minutes to get that. If we asked anyone other than our server for anything, we were told to get our server. Waited another 45 minutes to get our bills. We had to hunt our server down. It was one of the ladies first time at a Joe's. I doubt she'll be back, and I will consider it carefully before going back.

Great place to enjoy an alcoholic beverage while letting the kids play in the park.

The food was delicious and the wait staff were great,but while we were enjoying our food, somebody brought a dog in and sat close to us. Why do you let a dog in a restaurant and let the dog shake itself around everyone especially if it just came from walking on the beach???

Always loved Joe's. With only this location left, we visit two or three times a year. We stopped by on Saturday. Waited an hour and was seated. Capacity lower because of covid... our server was awful. We got our drink order, but never got sweet n low after asking multiple times. We finally got up and went to the bar to ask. After almost an hour after being seated she finally comes back and asks if she had taken our order. She had not. When we finally got our food, the shrimp was dry and gross. She never came around again. Finally when she did and saw there was food left, asked what the problem was. When I told her I couldn't tell her because she never came back she said, "you should have waved me down.. I get really distracted... sorry about the food tho." And that was it. There are so many other seafood options... I think our run with Joe's has come to an end. I don't mind paying their prices if the food is cooked properly. But couple the service with the lack of attention to their food and I'm out. Not worth it.

So we showed up late like 20 minutes before closing late . They didn t even blink an eye or tell us hey we are about to close they just took us and sat us down no issue . Our waiters name was joe and he was super sweet stayed on top of everything we realized everyone was leaving and they were closing but he insisted we take our time. The restraint was clean and all of the staff was friendly I would definitely recommend it to anyone . I miss the one we used to have in Amarillo so this was the home sick cure I needed !

Very good food, nice service, decent price. I will return to this place every time I go to Galveston.

Good food. A great place for a few friends some drinks and laughs. A little bit on the pricy side but I think it's worth it.

Unfortunately our server forgot our drinks at the bar we waited over and hour for our food not happy paying almost $100 and not worth it!

To Paul !! A wonderful kind and out going waiter !! I highly recommend him as your number one waiter ! First time coming to Joe Crab Shack in Galveston and it was a great experience. Will return soon! Thank you Paul for the great service.
