Food and atmosphere is comfy cozy! Great place to take the little ones!

I asked my husband to go here for my birthday, short drive from Louisville. Had a great dinner, nice wine tasting, with take home Halloween wine glasses, bought pimples, and overall nice day.

Going to the winery is an amazing experience. You walk in and see crates and crates of wine bottles. All varieties and all flavors available year-round.
Go upstairs and do a wine tasting. It's $10 for seven different ones and $2 each if you go over the seven. You can also get a souvenir glass for $2. There is a huge assortment of wine accessories available for purchase upstairs also. Anything from purse holders for your bar, wine stoppers with rhinestones and t-shirts.
There is also a cafe on the first floor of the winery. Good food and great atmosphere. Other buildings in the same parking lot include the farmers market and the ice cream shop. You have to check those out when you're there.
In the summer there is usually a live band out on the patio which also has patio seating.

Even with so many things shut down, still a favorite of mine. The staff is always very nice and anything food related is to die for.

Unfortunately, Huber's farm isn't what it used to be. I remember when I was younger and they had so many different activities and events. I still go with my family every year as tradition and it's still lovely. I always enjoy the food, and I love walking around the grounds. If they could bring back a lot of the activities, I would come more often.

Had a fun tractor/ wagon ride through the pumpkin patch on this beautiful farm and came home with a couple of pumpkins, soon to be jack-o'-lanterns. Great fun for the Grand kids and Gramma and Papa

Whats not to love about Huber's!! We were a group of 7. Our waitress was both helpful and patient. The food was delicious as was the pumpkin ice cream after our meal. The produce we brought home was excellent. Can't wait for our next visit!!

The chicken and dumplings were so good the wine tasting is the best

The only thing holding back this review from 5 stars is price. That aside, this is the best tasting country food you can get. The country ham was amazing.

Food was good but overpriced over $25.00 per person for chicken buffet. Noisey environment.

Overpriced food. I got chicken fried steak and it was very bland.
I like the fall stuff they have to offer. A free corn maze to go through is pretty fun and it's a nice addition to the place.

Ordered to go- a quart and a pint of chicken and dumplings, there was hardly any chicken. I also ordered peach cobbler and they gave me apple. Food was pretty good, but it was a little pricey.

Food tasted ok. Not seasoned really and we paid 50$ plus tip for a "family meal" and we didn't get enough food for that price..basically it consists of a cup of mashed potatoes, green beans, and dumplins, 1 bigger slice of ham and some chicken this was supp to feed 2 ppl which would be fine had it cost 12$ per person instead of 22..the tables are small inside barely room at table and they were in a rush...i just wouldn't expect an amazing meal if u go here thats all but it's alright for me to eat here once a year when I bring my kids to get pumpkins

Restaurant can be a bit pricey but I suggest the buffet if you can get that option.

I love Huber farms. The last visit we made I was very disappointed with the fact the petting zoo was no longer available. The food at the restaurant was very disappointing. The quality was not great but the quantity was good. We were overlooked by the waitress and had to make an effort to be waited on for anything. The fried biscuits were delicious and the winery was very enjoyable.

We love the property, but the employees seem unhappy and are rarely helpful. We go there often and they always seem short staffed :(

Awesome place to take the family! They have the most delicious, ripe peaches, a unique selection of goods, beautiful property, a winery and a restaurant, multiple play areas for kids, fruit and berry picking and more! The only thing was our waitress was a little spacey at the restaurant and admitted to bring hungover and got a few minor mistakes wrong. The food was country style and delicious!

A MUST visit! Stayed with friends for a concert in Louisville in southern IN. Came up here for this recommendation and cannot express enough how great the experience was! The farm, the U-Pick experience at the cousin farm just down the way, and the restaurant was over the top grand. Would HIGHLY recommend the fried chicken and chicken and dumplings here. Servings sizes are very generous!

My extended family loves coming here for holiday buffets. The food is fairly decent despite being massively overpriced. I can justify this as supply and demand however because they attract huge crowds for the holidays. I'd like if they gave something to make the food feel as though it actually came from the farm whether it be real ice cream instead of the cafeteria style cups or some sort of farm fresh fruit. I just can't reconcile that it's called a family farm restaurant and the only farm thing about it is being inside a barn. And since we pay such a premium to come it bothers me that they massively overbook it and you stand in line for 30 minutes with a reservation. I love the grounds here but even as they herd probably thousands of people through at over 20 dollars a head they don't find it worthwhile to open a petting zoo or any of the rides. It just feels greedy. They have to start offering something so that you feel like you've gotten value out of your money.

A cute restaurant with wonderful staff, the food was just not good at all. The restaurant at hubers starlight cafe has much better food.

They need to work on their customer service and welcoming of EVERYONE. Came to the restaurant today, the lady at the front counter was rude. The blonde sitting people was not welcoming and didn't speak when she had to bring me my drink. I sat for 15 minutes waiting on my water and fried biscuits (that's the only reason why most people.go there)

Let's just say....this will be my.last time!!! Awful!!!

Great family fun at Hubers! Delicious donuts highly recommend getting the dozen! The apple cider and pumpkin donut are amazing. Nice market inside with tons of options to fresh items, herbs, breads and more. Went during COVID and it was still a lot of fun! Went on the tractor ride to pick pumpkins. The grill outdoor restaurant was priced a bit high. Liquor shop was nice and had some good souvenirs. All sound a great atmosphere to have a date or family gathering! Always enjoy coming to Hubers!

They have very good food. The service was excellent. The Servers were were punctual we didn't have to wait very long to be waited on. We had to wait for them to get our table ready but not too long. I like Walking in the store and looking at all the stuff over there

We always enjoy the food but they forgot to post they are closed for the season and don t reopen until Feb 29, 2020.

Love the family friendly atmosphere, we had a blast exploring the farm and enjoyed some tasty fried chicken at their restaurant! The jam/jelly sold at the farm is delicious.

Food was just ok. Not the homemade variety of years ago. Brought small single bowls instead of family serving.Chicken dry. Dumpling tasted canned. Not any chicken in my bowl. Service mediocre. Not worth 18.99 per person . can't see myself going again and we used to go twice a year at least.

Comforting meal. Great fried chicken and all the fixings. Waldorf salad was wonderful. Surroundings, lake, grounds all were beautiful.

A wonderful place to spend a day, just a meal, enjoying all they offer. Great wines. Wonderful food. Friendly atmosphere. You can't go wrong visiting Hubers.

When visiting a family owned restaurant, one should expect a certain quality customer service as well as dining experience. Here at Huber s FAMILY Restaurant you can expect exceptional frozen hamburgers, fries, tater tots, and chicken tenders. Lest they forget your order, you ll be greeted with a horrible attitude and frustration as if you ve inconvenienced the entire kitchen staff with you re existence. Thank you.

We went with a party of 20 at a time when they weren t busy and the service wasn t impressive at all. Our waitress never came to ask if we needed anything the whole time we were there, I had to get up and find someone to get a drink refill. The service was just slow and snobby. The food is over priced but delicious.

I don't want to make it sound bad but I was in one of the barns where the food was buffet-style I think I rather go to the restaurant myself that's my opinion

I hate they are closing. Been going there most of my life. Love this place. Gonna miss it. I wish someone would take it over.

AMAZING. My husband and I stayed at a local inn and were referred to Joe Huber's. We weren't expecting the best food of our lives. We were just talking about making a special trip from Michigan for the food. :)

The buffet lunch/dinner they serve is great! Could have different prices for different days!

Service was great as always. Food was just okay for the price. I can go to several places in downtown New Albany and get chef prepared food that is fresher and more flavorful, for about the same price. Decor also seems tired.

Love most of the, food dumplings are more like a chicken soup need to thicken juice, make dumplings round instead of a noodle, prices are a bit high if prices were a bit lower we could come more often. instead we must patronize lower priced establishments, with less quality food. Your supreme service and team are extremely attentive, atmosphere, shopping available also outdoor activities

Homemade country comfort food in a pretty setting. If you go don't miss huber orchard and winrey just down the road. Sone thing for the whole family.

Very nice. There is a lot of things to see here for fall. They have an apple orchard and pumpkin patch.

The food is way over priced. They no longer have the broccoli salad or mac n cheese. Rubbery Cole slaw or fruit with mayonnaise on it is their choices now. However my children had a great time playing and getting pumpkins

Was really looking forward to getting out safely. It was so stressful since employees were NOT wearing their masks around clients or each other. No social distancing or dividers ect. We ended up only staying for an hr I DO NOT recommend going out there until there is a national mask mandate.

Never found it. Did a lot of driving but ack of cell service in area was problem. Suggest you go with someone from area the first time.

We attended their Christmas show. The food was excellent and the show was good. We've been to the farms many times during the fall and always enjoy our time there. They have things for kids to do, the restaurant, and the gift shop. You can pick your own pumpkin which includes a hay ride out to the fields and back. It's a good spot for families!

This was our first time visiting Huber's. My son, daughter-in-law, her mother, and my 5 month granddaughter. The countryside is beautiful, all areas we visited were clean, and the staff friendly. We plan to return next year and enjoy more of the children's activities.

OMG this place is my fav place to escape of the daily routine! This place is amazing. Its super fun, the food is really good, the produce is fresh and their cinnamon bread is so good. EVERYTHING is awesome!!!!
