So cute. The biscuits rock. Outstanding Chicken n Dumplings. Bad gravy. Avoid the Fries Green Tomatoes. Friendly but slow servers, and we were almost alone in the restaurant. Great views. Their winery has improved greatly, and they have generous wine and spirit tastings. Nice restaurant, in general, buy maybe starting to ride a little on their reputation.

Apparently every weekend in October they have tractor rides, paint ball, petting zoo, pumpkin picking, ride the ponies, and a corn maze. I came out the first Sunday in October today, good weather, had the buffet. Now 3 years and under are free, kids price is 9.99 and adult is 19.99 for good fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, and corn, velvet strawberry icecream and all the cobblers and apple pie you can eat. That being said, I can't believe they don't serve their fish sandwich on the weekend, and I could have had ate Popeyes and came up for the kids stuff for alot less. Tickets for rides and different things are 1 dollar a piece and plan on spending 10 to 15 per child for the festivities. They did have a someone playing live acoustic guitar and you get to roam around the farm ad lib, however, after eating I'm was ready for a nap, but I did get to do a few things.

I recently visited The Huber Family Farm and Winery. It is like a little bit of heaven. The food is farm fresh! We had dinner in the main restaurant and it was superb. We also visited the Winery. The wines here are in a class all their own.

We like to go for berry picking in the early summer and pumpkin picking in the fall. Good place to have a glass of wine and a picnic, too. There is a restaurant, playground, farm fun park for kids, a wine tasting room, ice cream and store for homemade bread, jams, fresh fruit etc.

Wow what a let down. My sister, my mother, and I packed up the kids and headed to the farm for what we thought was going to be a beautiful day on the farm. None of us had been there and we will NOT RETURN!! We didn't know where to go first so we checked outh the "barnyard" that had geese only in it. You had to take a tractor if you wanted to see anything else. So we decided to try some lunch. We were in the place for an hour and 15 min. The young lady waiting on us was at least polite, she was the only employee we encountered who was. No one else seemed to care that there were visitors there. They went about their business and made NO EFFORT to be friendly. We felt as if we were bothering the employees to ask a question. The food was 73 dollars before tip and it was NOT GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Splitting the check was too much trouble and the the entire experience was very disappointing. Another visitor told us about the orchard and winery. We went that way (1/4 mile down the road) They had a cool petting zoo and place to feed the animals and the employees were incredibly friendly and helpful. We just wish we had found the orchard and winery first!!! It was so late when we got there we couldn't stay long but at least we ended our day on a good note.

I loved visiting the Farmer's market! Everything they sell is lovely, we picked up an amazing peach bread that was absolutely fantastic, along with some dip mixes and a soup mix.

My s/o and I loved going out and picking blueberries, it was a really nice bonding experience and it was pleasant since they weren't that many people looking for blueberries.

I highly recommend sunscreen, hats, and to pick up something at the restaurant before you go!

The best fried chicken and fish in the Midwest. Restaurant. Farmers Market, Gift Shop. Take the children on a tractor and wagon ride through the pasture to feed the farm animals. Feed the fish and ducks :-)

PLEASE DON'T AUCTION THIS WONDERFUL FAMILY BUSINESS! We have so many good memories of this place, ever since I was a little girl. It will be sad if you go. Please, all of us ask you to please reconsider what you are giving up. It will be a shame. You have a family legacy there. Don't give up! You have all of us to support you. I have been so upset since I heard the unfortunate news. A forever fan--Sheila Evans

We went with a large group (whole family) and got the buy one get one free all you can eatcountry family' dinnner. Food is good, home grown flavor. We had reservations but it didn't look like the wait was bad and our service was great. We would go back.

Very disappointed, $22 for adults and $13 for a child. When the menu is very poor. Not choice just one meal for everyone. The rest is fun. Not many choices on fall decor. Just go there for ice cream, but dont eat there. Kroger chicken taste better then their chicken.

Being well versed traveler, when my friend invited me to come here, I already knew I was going to hate it. The food there was ridiculously expensive and there was not much to explore. I would rather go to a park. But city people really feel out in the country doing here. So I guess that is good for them.

You can't go wrong with a visit here. There's so much to do and so easy to enjoy every moment of it. The food, whether it's the restaurant or the winery, is always delicious and fresh. During the summer they have bands that play wonderful music. There's a kids playground where children can burn off some energy. Depending on the season you can pick your own fruit. I love strawberries but all their fruit is so good. It's fun to pick your own and my son loved it. Especially the tractor ride back and forth. Afterwards, you can go into the store and buy fudge, candy, specialty breads, and much more. There's also an ice cream shop with ice cream made there in the farm. My son loved the superman flavor. And of course, there's always the winery where you can pick some of the best wine in the area. I love the blackberry wine. So sweet and hits the spot every time.

Food was wonderful! Our group of over 70 on an 8th grade class trip experienced a broken down bus which put us behind schedule. The wait for the new bus made us arrive an hour after our reservation time and they were very accommodating and so polite, and one guy handled it all by himself and did a great job.

Ah, Huber's. Your success has injured you. We visited again recently on the way thru, after a 10 year absence. The surroundings are the same, the mission is the same, but they may be overcome by events. We put our name in for lunch at the big dining hall place (granted it was packed to the gills on a Sunday afternoon) and were told "30 minute wait" by a scraggly midwestern girl with a thousand-yard stare. Ten minutes later, our names were called. Good, right? Well, our designated server was a frazzled non-multi-tasker on the verge of a nervous breakdown, so in hindsight we would have liked to trade that extra 20 minutes for an enjoyable dining experience. Our waitress, I'll call her Dottie, was a wreck and a half. Forgot our apple butter for most of the meal. Got the order sort of wrong, and out of sequence. Refilled drinks in a very clipped manner, as if she was in the middle of 4 other things. Are we being waited on by a very large and nervous ferret? The ultimate offense which decimated Dottie's tip was when my wife asked for her to snap a quick photo of our family to commemorate our return to Huber's. Dottie's response, "No I'm sorry I can't I have other things to do right now..." over her shoulder as she scurried off. Well f---- you too. Probably should have pulled that stunt *after* we have already signed the cheque. Tragically bad service, for an otherwise nice establishment and farm business.

It would have been better if the place hadn't been swamped with screaming children and rude crowds of people. It was a stressful visit until around 7 when the larger families cleared out, but I wouldn't recommend this place if you don't like crowds or screaming children. The petting zoo is gone as well. I wish they were better at crowd control there but it seems like the money is a bigger priority.

food was great as always, was a little surprised how crowded and tight it was allowed to be considering covin19 risk. I'm from Kentucky, so wasn't used to the anything go's attitude. I wasn't really comfortable with the like of precautions?

This place is a joke! Everything is overpriced and run down, will never be back, wasted most of a Saturday driving there for nothing. Terrible idea. Do something else if possible!!!!!! Also, the picking of a pumpkin...you don't get to pick off the vine they just put a bunch of already picked pumpkins in one area and you have to pick from that you don't get to get it off the vine very disappointing!!!!

I had heard so much about this place and was really looking forward to it. When we arrived, the parking was good and it was beautiful; that was the extent of the good time. The restaurant had an hour wait, so we looked around. The shop was so small and crowded that it's impossible to look around at all, and the staff did NOT want to be there. The boy ringing us up actually told us about how much he hated working there. Then, when our name was finally called...they had one menu item. One, and it was a fried chicken meal for $20 per person. When we said we just wanted pie, we were looked at like we were crazy and then neglected the whole time. It took half an hour to be served drinks, and another half hour for pie. Then we asked for a box and the waiter never came back. I have never been less impressed by overall staff, ease or comfort. I will not be returning and will not recommend to others.

We love Hubers. The prices are good when it comes to picking your fruit and vegetables. The kids love the play area and feeding the ducks/giant fish. The food at the restaurant isn't great or horrible. It's priced a little high for the quality. The wine is amazing. Drink all of the wine.

What a great place to get your Halloween pumpkin and enjoy a day with your children or grandchildren. The restaurant is equally as impressive. The home style country menu is very good. Don't forget the dessert.

Very delicious and healthy food served in an attractive atmosphere. None of the farm activities was running when we got there because it was still cold, but walking around the farm was also nice.
