It is a very well laid out and run venue here. in the west valley. The biggest gripe for some is the car parking and charges when the venue is being used. Is easy if you frequent the area a lot you know they way that it is layout and the best entry and exits are.
Of course the other is the cost of beverages, and snacks. If they were a tad more affordable they would sell more. I am sure that they have a nice wee algorithm, that balances one over the other... lol

They are charging for parking, but if eat at a restaurant there you get the $10 off your meal. Saw the hockey game and it's so loud with blasting music little kids wear ear protection and I wear ear plugs now. Plus the vibration exhausts me. Can we just watch hockey without all the sides shows?

Great arena. There really isn't a bad seat in the place. Unfortunately far from the rest of the city. Hate that they started charging for parking everywhere, despite the fact that you're going there to spend money.

Great venue with decent variety of food (if insanely expensive food!). Entrance easily handles the crowd and hard liquor stands abound! Seating is nice with good views of the action. Glad and being extend very high to save your orbital socket and teeth so you don't look like a hockey player.

Pure Awesome! Saw Game of thrones live with fam, fast seating and good acoustics. Great location. Get there early and enjoy the sights and grub at any of the spots. Good parking too. Even if crowded for a show or game its pretty easy to get in or out.

Fun place to watch hockey, concerts, and other events. Lots of food options around the arena. They have fun events where the kids can participate also. Always fun when it can be a family event. HIGHLY recommend going to the value coyote games so it doesn't break the bank for the entire family. The coyotes also put on a great little howlers program recommended if you have a little skater interested in hockey they make it super fun!

Went for a concert, the show was great. The venue itself is in very dire need of a facelift. Had some decent 100 level seats and they were pretty snug on my hips. I'm not exactly petite but but have never had that problem before. The $7 for a hot dog and $14 for a beer were a bit much even for concert food but it is what it is I guess.

I absolutely love this arena. I have been to 9 other NHL Arenas for hockey games and this one is actually my favorite. The employees are outstanding & helpful. I was recently 2 other arenas (LA & Vegas) & I couldn t find a single thing I could eat or drink at the game (Due to food allergies) and they were not helpful when I asked questions. Here at Gila River everyone is happy to help you. I love the food & drink selection in the Arena. The Ahi Poke stand inside the arena is awesome, I can eat actual good quality food here! The drink selection is also wonderful. The employees will actually tell you everything down to the brands of sodas they use and types/brands of alcohol.

Another plus is the $15 parking fee during games can be $15 taken off your receipt at many of the shops and restaurants at West Gate. We almost always eat before or after the game, or hangout at Dave & Busters for a bit afterwards so the parking ends up being free in a sense.

The only down side is that the Arena is so far away. To us it s worth it to drive out there since the area is so fun and nice. I hope the Coyotes can stay in the Phoenix area. The arena is easy to navigate, it s a fun atmosphere, and the employees are SO friendly & helpful.

There are too many good things to say first of all being that it's at the Westgate Plaza great place to go with the family any day of the week. But also a great place to go to get something to eat and a couple of beers before the hockey game. Service inside the arena is great really good.

Visited for a concert. The seating was good, but the acoustics were not. Given it is an arena and not a traditional concert venue my expectations are lower. However, the venue has had plenty of time to make improvements.

My girlfriend and I went to see the Coyotes game vs the Oilers. It was her first hockey game. She loved it. Game was entertaining and competitive. Seats were nice close to the ice and staff were helpful, friendly helping us enjoy the game. Coyotes are the best sport team in town!
